"So how's the married life going?" She asked him as she looked around at the scenery.

"Perfectly amazing." He said smiling.
"Aww that's awesome. Why don't you enlighten me?" She asked him happily.
"Well that depends what do you want to know." He said.
"Anything. Tell me about your most valued gift," she suggested.
"Well the day after we got married he gave me this." He said taking the silver chain off with a ring connected to it.

"It's so beautiful!" She said as she admired the ring, "he must love you very much. You are so lucky to have him as he is to have you."
He smiled and hugged her happily.
"What happened to boys like that?" She asked him in a whiny voice as she hugged him tightly.
"Well I think there still here but hiding in plain sight." He said.
She sighed as she pulled away and resumed to walking alongside him again. "Well they should come out more often," she muttered quietly.
"Well if your looking for someone I know a few handsome guys that you might be interested in." He offered.
"Sure, why not? How could I embarrass myself anymore than today?" She replied glumly.
"Come on don't be so negative." He said.
"I can't help it. I thought this guy was the one, but obviously I was wrong. He laughed at me and didn't even bother to help me up," she said sadly.
"A ancient Chinese proverb says an invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet regardless of time, place or circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle, but it will never break. you just haven't found your connected."
"Wow, that's a beautiful tale," she said quietly.
He nodded and looked around.
"Good afternoon you two," Vlad said from above a tree, smiling down at them like the Cheshire Cat.
"Vlad why are you in a tree?" He asked looking up at him.
"I was waiting for some first years to prank," he said as he climbed off and hugged him.
He smiled and kissed his cheek. 'And how long have you been up there?"
"About half an hour," he said with a shrug. Dahlia smiled at Vlad then sat on a log, as they talked. "So what's going on?" Vlad asked his husband.
"Well Dahila was embarrassed and saddened about an earlier event with her date so instead of moping I said we should go on a walk and see where it takes us so that's what we're doing." He explained.
"Ohh okay. Mind if I join you guys?" He asked. Dahlia shook her head.
"Not at all." He said smiling.
"Hey, why don't you introduce her to some of your guys friends?" He asked him as he thought about it.
"I've already assured her I will." He said looking at him
"Cool," he said as he walked along both of their sides. Dahlia silently looked around, deep in thought about something.
He cast a glance towards her sighing.
"So, Damien, I wanted to throw a little birthday party for you next weekend. I was just wondering where you'd like to have it," Vlad began.
"Well I think somewhere near the lake would be nice." He said.
"Alright, sounds good," he said with a nod, "and is there anything in particular you've had your eye on?"
"Love you know I'm not a very materialistic person so honestly, no."
"Oh come on, there must be something," he said as he poked his side, "my love, don't be shy."
"I honestly can't think of anything." He said looking at him.
"Alright well I'll find something special," he said as he kissed his cheek.
"Alright." He said putting an arm around his shoulders.
"So what are your plans for the day?" He asked him.
"I was mostly just planning on reading most of the day, why did you have something in mind?"
"No, no, I just wanted to let you know that I was heading over to see my grandmother who is sick," he said quietly.
"Would you like me to come along?" He asked.
"No, it's alright. Besides, I heard she's really bad and contagious. I'm just going as a last minute visit," he said.
He nodded and looked down silently.
"What's wrong, love?" He asked in concern.
"Damien, please don't lie to me," he answered.
"Just thinking of a few people."
"A woman named Harriet." He said
