She stood on her toes and kissed his cheek happily. "Thanks love. I usually give my closest guy friends kisses on their cheeks. I think everyone deserves a kiss on the cheek, even if its from a friend," she said with a smile, "except I give my closest girl friends, hugs. It would be awkward if I gave them kisses haha."

I think everyone deserves a kiss on the cheek, even if its from a fri..."He laughed. "Yeah they might get the wrong idea. I love the way you like to make your closest friends feel loved.
She smiled at him warmly with rosy cheeks and nose from the cold. "I want to let my closest friends know that I do love them and care for them as much as they do me. I'm so grateful for having friends that accept me, no matter what I've done in the past," she replied happily.
He smiled warmly. "I admire loyalty like that." He carried on walking with her, the wind slightly edging them forward.
"I want to get to know you better," she replied as she walked alongside him, "like, what year are you in? Do you play Quidditch? Do you have any siblings?"
"I'm in the 5th year, I play as a beater and yeah I have a younger sister." He chewed on another chocolate drop. "How about you?"
"I'm a fifth year, I play as a beater for Slytherin, and I have a younger brother, 2 cousins here, and one adopted daughter," she answered, "though I'm thinking about quitting Quidditch. I can barely make it to the practices, and I love watching the boys play."
"Well yeah, you might have to quit, if we're playing for the same team and then all of a sudden you can't focus because your watching me." He smirked.
She chuckled lightly as she put a gloves hand o her lips. "I guess you're right. Wouldn't want me to distract you from watching my amazing aiming ability. Who knows, if you get too cocky on the field, I might have to aim a bludger at you," she replied with a wink.
He laughed. "If you hit me with a bludger, then our team will lose. Then again if it's so you can focus better then it might have to be done." He grinned.
She grinned and shook her head. "I would never do that to you, Robert. You have been very kind to me, and I know I wouldn't have the heart to do it," she answered kindly.
"I know you wouldn't," he said smiling. "Anyway, we gotta keep those bludgers flying at the other teams." He paused for a moment. "Do you see your adoptive daughter much?"
"Yes. She is a first year here. She's actually in our house," she answered, "her name is Rachael, and she is such a wonderful little girl. She's a little ray of sunshine. I want to keep her as innocent as possible and not let the cruel world infest her perfect purity."
"Oh right, well its good that you can see her often then," he said. "I think you will be able to protect her." He gave her an assuring smile.
"Thanks love. So how's your social life been? Hopefully not as messy as mine," she replied with a light chuckle.
"It's been alright, just hanging out with friends really. I have occasionally been down to the ministry to the auror offices with my dad. I get to meet some people there. They are all pretty cool, I just can't wait to become an auror myself."
"Sounds like an exciting job," she said with a warm smile, "I want to become a professional Healer at St. Mungo's after I graduate from here."
"That's an awesome choice. I'm sure you'll be a help to thousands." He smiled. "What makes you want to be a healer though?"
"Well I absolutely love potions, and I love helping people, so I guess that's a reason," she replied with a sad smile, "also my parents died in a fire in the beginning of the school year, and I couldn't save them, so I want other people to have the chance they didn't get, to survive."
"I'm sorry about your parents," he said sorrowfully. "I'm sure you will make them proud when you save the lives of others," he then said, more cheerfully.
"I highly doubt it, but thanks," she replied with a small smile, "so you're telling me that you're not dating ANYONE?" She smirked as she quickly changed the subject and turned around gracefully to face him.
"I was just asking," she replied with another smirk, "you don't have to tell me if you don't want to you know."
"Very surprising indeed. Slytherin, 5th year, Quidditch player who is the son of a lovely lady who works at the most famous paper company, the Quibbler, and yet, still no girlfriend?" She asked as she circled him with a smirk on her face, "its a big shock to me."
He laughed. "Now that you put it like that, even I'm surprise." Then he said, rather more seriously, "Ahh I dunno, I just never really found anyone particularly interesting...anyone to have a half decent conversation. Apart from you, your always good to talk to."
"Well, not really. I mean I forgave him and we are pretty civil to each other, but that's about it. He usually spends his time with his girlfriend anyways," she explained.
"That's because I'm basically dead already." John said walking towards them.
Becca turned around slowly and nodded politely. "Hello, John," she replied, "I suspected something going on between you and Melania."
"Well we're both going to die in three months so yes there is." He said looking at her.
Our souls are intertwined or something anyways I ran out of the elixir of life about five months ago the reason I'm not dead is because I was a vampire but now that you took that away, and I have no potion I'll be dead in three months time." John said rather calmly.
She wrapped her arms around herself as guilt infested her being. "I'm so sorry. If I'd known I wouldn't have taken it away from you. And I'm sorry I can't give it back, for I too have changed myself back," she answered with a few tears rolling down her face, "maybe I can create the Elixer of life again. Please tell me anything that could possibly help."
Nothing that I know of can help stones been destroyed so can make the elixir anymore all my vampire friend that are willing are dead except for a man named Jack but I can't visit him he can't and won't visit me unless I want an early funeral." John said looking at becca sadly.
She hugged him for a few seconds and let go quickly. "Listen, I'm really sorry. To you and Melania both. Seriously, if there is anything I can do to help, please ask me," she replied sadly as she wiped her tears away.
"Of course." He said nodding and looking at her with a sad smile. "And thank you Rebecca." John said gratefully.
"Mel has a bucket list she's been completing with me." John told her, "never thought of one meself."
"Well I think it's wonderful that you two are spending the most time you can with each other," she replied with a sad smile as she sat underneath a tree with Robert while staring up at John.
"Your always welcome to come along dear." John said looking back down at her.
"So, um, this is kind of awkward. I'm not sure what to say. I haven't talked to you in awhile," she replied awkwardly.

"Not as awkward as a few conversations I can recall." John said looking up through the trees.
