Mel rolled her eyes, "they always do." She looked at her bear brown, leather watch. As soon as she saw the time she gasped, "it's 10:30! We have class!"

"Well let's get back." John said and sped off with her
Genevieve tripped over a moss-swathed branch and fell to her knees, a briar-thorn embedding itself in her hand; Gen swore in her native tongue, prying the thin barb from her palm and staunching the trickling blood with a well-placed spell. "Entrilo Scrungifa."Gen looked around her, light falling in from again-moss curtained branches, she was in a peaceful part of the Forest where stones sat and branches crossed moss. It was early afternoon and skylarks carolled from branches though Gen was still quite emotional, irked at herself for being lost and rather trepiditious, for her bluster and stubbornness Gen was a second-year and deterred by the Forbidden Forest.
(Got to go :(.)
((Oh ok bye!))
Evelynn walked through the forest, not completely sure why she was here in the first place but enjoying it all the same. She heard a thump and spun around, looking for the source. Then she saw a young girl that she remembered meeting or seeing at least once.
"Are you alright?" She asked, walking towards her.

"Are you alright?" She asked, walking towards her.
Gen reared upwards, green leaves falling from her robes; seeing the Hogwarts student she lowered her wand shamefaced, "I apologize." She said; looking up at Evelynn standing on atop a ridge. "I am just a slight leery of this place." Gen confessed calmly, standing up on another branch with feline skill.
Evelynn shrugged and smiled.
"It's alright. The forest definitely is a tricky place to navigate." She replied.
"It's alright. The forest definitely is a tricky place to navigate." She replied.
((Blast!!!!! Oh my gosh, Andi! I'm sorry, I forgot to post here and I wasn't notified! Good lord, E...))Gen smiled briefly and combed the moss off her hand, offering it to Evelynn. "Thanks. Gen Eaglestone." She introduced warily, a few leaves and pebbles swept behind her by the wind. That Friday was early to end with Hogwarts classes and Gen had ventured out to a idyllic briar-arch, loosing her way in the path and emerging in the Forest! Luck has it, she thought inwardly, it wasn't the most terrible of the Forest's places.
Evelynn offered her hand and smiled. "Evelynn Brighton, pleased to meet you." She spoke softly. "I'm fifth year Gryffindor, you?"
Gen shrugged and took it, "Ravenclaw." She said proudly, "Second year," she stepped back and inspected the older girl, long brown-blond hair, blueish eyes. She nodded. "Pleased to meet you."((Naturally. Now I'm getting off, 'night!))
Evelynn smiled and looked at the younger girl.
"Ravenclaw is a wonderful house I'm sure. My brother was almost certain that I'd be in your house." She shrugged.
"Ravenclaw is a wonderful house I'm sure. My brother was almost certain that I'd be in your house." She shrugged.
Gen's eyebrows rose. "You have a brother then?" She asked, standing atop a fractured branch, she as a single child was always fascinated by siblings, when the wind blew through the trees it rustled the leaves further into the wood and the small saplings where Gen and Evelynn stood.(Sorry!)
Evelynn nodded. "His name's Jack. He's about 26 years old." She replied, thinking of her still young looking brother back home.
Gen whistled. "Quite a age difference there," she remarked, crossing to a stone her movements energetic. Gen glanced upwards, stopping herself from reading Evelynn's thoughts.
Evelynn laughed. "Yeah, my parents had him when they were about 22 years old. A bit young of course, but they were a happy couple."
Gen nodded noncommittally. "I've got two cousins but they're my only relatives my age," she said, shrugging her shoulders.
Evelynn smiled. "Well I'm sure it's nice to have family your age. Jack always teased me as I'm the youngest."
Gen smiled too. "He sounds like a fun sort of person," she replied; stopping by the Forest's final edge, and peering out from the briar-arch where she had gotten lost originally. An awkward silence broke upon them, neither, Gen suspected, knowing how else to continue their conversation.
Evelynn thought for a moment. "So where did you come from? I mean, where did you live before coming to Hogwarts?" She asked politely.
Gen half-smiled, her hand resting on the arch a few inches away from a nasty-seeming thorn. "France," she answered, laughing quickly and saying a little awkwardly, "My voice could attest. Oh, well, what about you? England I presume?" Genevieve quizzed, amused.
Evelynn nodded eagerly. "Alnwick, Northumberland." She noted.
Gen grinned. "Interesting!" she said, "A lot of history they have there. By Scotland, if I'm not mistaken?" Gen asked animatedly.((G'night! I'm off for the evening, now, thanks for RPing, Andi!))
Evelynn liked this young girl. "Yes, very nearby. I love the culture especially."
Evelynn smirked. "Absolutely."
Evelynn shrugged. "I'm just taking a walk right now. Guess I got in a little too far."
Gen nodded. "Right!" she said cheerfully. Gen stepped over a rock to the briar patch and waved to her new friend. "Lovely to meet you, Evelynn!" she called back and with her hair streaming in between the trees, Genevieve left the Forest.((Thanks for RPing! Also, I've heard by way of my status updates you're looking forwards to the new The Hobbit film?))

john walked through the forest wearing a frown mulling things over.
Melania paced slowly gasping at the sound of another person. "John," she smiled out of joy, but quickly trying to cover it up. 'Be strong,' she thought to herself.
John kept walking to absorbed in his own thoughts.
Becca saw the both of them from the tree she was standing in, previously practicing her levitation spells. Her eyes followed the figures with interest as she felt the thick tension.
"What's the only way to keep him alive?" Becca asked as she jumped down from the tree in front of Mel.
"You're not a very good liar, considering I can still read your mind after the whole vamp incident. What's really going on, Mel. If you don't want me to tell him, you can trust me. He's been avoiding me anyways," she replied.
She sighed and looked up toward her. She hated that feeling, like she was under Gen, less superior. "I have been having dreams. She is coming for me. To kill me." She stood and faced the stain glass window, "our souls are connected, meaning if I die his soul dies too. He would still be alive, but unconscious, forever. And vise-versa. I will die, soon because of her. That's why I broke it off, because I love him too much to see him die like this. My heart aches at every object that sparks a memory of him." She faced Genevieve, "Sorry, I should stop the pity fest." Melania mocked.
((Shoot, I screwed up. That was supposed to be in the great hall. Kayla, I will re-write it for ours...))
"I understand where you get that feeling, but even if you distance yourself away from him, she'll still kill you and he will still be unconscious. You should spend more time with him now. And I wont let her take your life. I guarantee it, because as much as he hurt me, I really love seeing the both of you two together. You guys represent the best couple to survive everything, so you still have to survive. Even if its only for me," she answered with a warm smile.
