Micah laughed suddenly "Nothing. What did you think it was?" he inquired sitting up. The sky was beginning to stain gray with morning light, spreading across the blackness and moistening the arid chill on the Forest's night. It was time to rise.

" Nothing" she muttered. Shivering slightly she pulled her sleeping bag up around her.

Micah got up and started to collect the pillow and bag into a pile, he waved his wand springily and they disappeared in a puff of smoke, he looked up and smiled a little walking across the clearing he stepped up to the little embankment and gazed across the forest. "Goblins were just behind me the night before." he called to his comrades and turned around descending the stone "We'd best get going!"

" Wiser Words never said!" Ophelia remarked agreeing. Looking down at the climb she gulped and descended unsteadily.

Micah glanced up to her from the bottom of the embankment and stepping up a few feet to assist her, offered his hand, he smiled "It's fine." he reassured, "Less scary than it looks." he saw Zach and Andi coming down and reddened a tiny bit seeing Andi.

Andi pulled her hair into a ponytail while walking, hoping there were no dark circles under her eyes. Even after she let Micah take watch she didn't fall asleep.

Zach, however, got plenty of sleep, and he stretched as they walked towards Ophelia and Micah.

Micah grinned looking in front of him but twisted his head back to Ophelia and Zach and Andi, "What you aren't even going to say thanks?" he asked merrily and his foot crunched on the ground. Forehead creasing he looked down to the damp leaves at his feet, a white scrap of dampened parchment was under his boots and he quickly swiped it up, eyes widening as he read.

Andi smiled. "Thank you my dear friend for your brilliance." She laughed.

Zach gave Micah a nod and a small smile, the best he could do.

Ophelia noticed the slight coloring of his face when he looked at Andi and gave the the girl a good look before hurrying over to Micah. " What is it?"

Micah laughed thought it was weak and brushed past them to Zach "Something Zachary should probably see," he said and hooked his fingers in his belt surveying his companions "That was written by Siobhan." With that, he handed the parchment to him, it was damp and some words and letters illegible, it was wadded up. "A draft I believe." he muttered and turned back around.

Zach took the paper and read it several times over.

Andi read it over her shoulder and smiled.

Zach ran a hand through his hair, trying not to get upset. He missed Siobhan so much.
"That must mean she's around here." He was thankful he was still normal and his voice was firm.

Ophelia's eyes followed him curiously. She wanted desperately to take the letter herself but thought better of it,

Micah nodded and his eyes glittered watching the letter, he was surprised Zach wasn't more perturbed he mused. Micah looked up finding Ophelia's gaze on him and flashed a smile at her, "No wonder," he replied to Zach, "Didn't you hear them last night?" without waiting for a answer he turned on his heel jauntily and walked ahead swinging his wand between two fingers.

Ophelia smiled ack. When he began walking she followed him. " So do you have any idea where our damsel in distress is?"

Zach rolled his eyes and groaned, exasperated.
"If that kid keeps bugging me I swear-"

"Micah can be a bit... High. But he's just trying to help." Andi knew better than the other two. She saw Zach's eyes.

Zach was really upset. He missed Siobhan. He wanted her back. And he wished Micah had done something other than just listen to them last night and not mention they should follow them.

Micah sighed and turned around, "If I'm a kid then do you realize Siobhan's younger then me?" he demanded turning back to the wood and straining his ears, dawn was seeping into the sky now, tendrils of pink staining the grey, warming the morning. Birds had started to sing their chirps turning into a chorus and despite the eerie frequency was a little calming.
A hawk screamed the call reverberating in the forest.

Zach gave Andi a desperate look.

Andi shrugged and patted his arm before following behind Micah and Ophelia.

Zach sighed and started following Andi.

Micah sighed and stopped walking, turning to face Zach. "Fine. I'm sorry; that was harsher than I intended and," he smiled wryly "From the letter you two are apparently fairly star-crossed." he somehow caught Ophelia's eye as he spoke of the letter and smiled. "Okay?" he demanded.

Zach shrugged. "It's fine, mate." He said. "Let's just find her alright?"

Andi nodded, and rubbed her eyes.

Micah grinned "Finally you see sense." he called and started to walk, once more. Another steep bank was in front of them, stone shards jutting out of the dirt with gashes and hoofprints embedded into it. He tried heartily not to think of exactly what made that and instead climbed up, hands and feet to the top.

Both Andi and Zach scrambled up the hill after him.

Andi's head swam. She reached up to grab another part of the hill and slipped. She didn't yelp or make a sound. She swung up and tried grabbing it again. She didn't get it this time, and Zach reached down to grab her hand as she slipped again.

Micah whirled around from the plain beneath him and fell to his knees grasping her hand with Zach "What's wrong?" he hissed to no one is particular.

Andi pulled herself up, not looking at either of them.
"Nothing." She muttered, and continued climbing.

Zach watched her warily and kept climbing as well.

Micah tilted his head and sighed "Andi, you're incorrigible." he grumbled turning back to the bank and narrowing his eyes, he walked down in double-time and crouched gazing across the plain, "It looks like." he started. "We just missed their party."

Andi rolled her eyes but didn't say anything.

Zach listened to the silent forest around them. All of a sudden a loud scream came from the forest below them at the bottom of the hill and Zach took off running.

Micah whipped around just in time to dodge Zach running past "What on the bloody earth are you doing Collins?" he yelled after him. "Trying to break the sound barrier or what?"

Zach ignored him and kept running as another scream sounded.

"Zach!" Andi yelled and ran after him.

Micah shook his head exasperatedly and with Ophelia at his heels followed heels kicking up dirt, he switched to one side as to not get it on her and half-smirked continued to go after them.

Zach ran into the forest and saw a group of goblins.

Andi also saw Siobhan in the middle of the group.

Zach made a strangled sound and ran towards them pulling his wand out and began yelling spells at them.
