Melania gasped, "I am sorry," she paused and thought about what she had said, "about your friends dying."

"Well than that must mean." John cut himself short not wanting to say this in front of Rachael.
Rachael started sobbing insanely again as she remembered Melania as the one who gave her the scar on her wrist. Becca gave Melania a hard glare and started to quiet down Rachael. The little girl finally stopped crying and she fell asleep in Becca's arms.
"I think I should go," Melania turned around and started off toward the school. She took notice to the chill in the air and pulled her jacket closer on her.
"Melania, why did you come looking for me?" Becca asked her.
She stopped mid stride and didn't turn around, "I wanted to find you because I care about you and John."
Becca scoffed in humor. "Ha, yeah, I knew that after the thousands of times you cursed me out, or gave me dirty looks, or when you sold me out to Lillith," Becca said haughtily.
"Then why did you ask," Melania asked and then started to walk again, her long nut-brown hair flowing in the wind.
"You're right, I don't know why I asked. I knew you'd give me a smart-ass answer like that because you're too cowardly to admit your mistake and to give me an apology. No matter, I'm done asking for your forgiveness," Becca replied as she cradled Rachel in her arms.
Melania shook her head, "that is the truth, wether you choose to believe it or not is on you." She walked off , not saying another word.
Becca sat down on a nearby log and cradled Rachael in her arms as she hummed her a lullaby her parents sung to her when she was younger.

John walked over and sat near Becca and looked down at Rachael sighing.

"They died because of us, you know," she said sadly to him.
"No they died because of me you had nothing to do with it." John said in a completely defeated tone.
"John, they were after our fortune," Becca said sadly as she stood up with Rachael, "no matter, we have a job to do."
"Indeed." John said and stood up. "I'll go collect some blood." He said and looked at her.
Becca nodded and kissed his cheek. "I'll meet you back in the common room."
"As will I." John said kissed he back.
John nodded and went off deep into the forest and began hunting.
Jake was walking in the forest his hood up and eyes on the ground he heard footsteps and knew it was probably the centaurs or some other creature. After a moment he saw a faint shadow run away.
Melania sat on the hard tree log humming a musical to herself. She was picking flower petals off of a dying bloom. Fall was here, the leaves were changing and falling. Mel smiled, she loved fall; it was her favorite holiday.
Jake sniffed the air as he walked a new smell was wafering near him, and you know what it smelled like? "Mel." He whispered and then heard humming "Mel?" He spoke loudly this time.
She gasped and turned around frightened. "Jake?"
"Yes, it's me sorry to frighten you." He said in a bitter voice.
"It's okay." Melania flatly said as she turned around to face to flower.
"Sorry." He said. "I'm sorry." ((Got to go.))
"It's fine." She stood up, "actually it's not fine! I know what it feels like to have someone cheat in you. You should of pushed me away! You HAVE A GIRLFRIEND!"
"I know Mel. I WASNT THINKING. Okay." He asked trying to control his anger. "I was just caught up in the moment, sometimes people don't think. IM SORRY IF I HURT YOU. Okay. I didn't mean to. I'm stupid." He finished quietly still mad, not at her but him self.
Melania looked toward him and quickly looked away; unaware of what to say.
"Mel?" He asked. "Why did you kiss me?"
Melania looked away embarrassed, the truth would hurt his feelings, but she hated to lie.
She decided with a happy medium, "I truly don't know. I felt an urge and I didn't like the way pie conversation was going with that horrid girl. I wanted to prove her wrong." It was the truth the while truth. Melania continued to take apart the flower but now with her wand. As she performed a spell the whole forest lit up.
"So you used me?" He asked. "That's what you just said, but you tried to say it in a different way." He started getting mad again. "You. Used. Me?" He asked louder.
"No!" She stood up and looked at him, "I didn't want to believe what she said about John! You helped me and I felt something towards you. Something I couldn't pin point. But I did want to kiss you." She sincerely said.
"Mel. I want you to tell me and look in my eyes and say what you just said, I want to know you aren't lying." He said. "Look me in the eyes and say that."
Melania came closer while keeping her distance and looked him directly in his eyes, "I wanted to kiss you. I care about you, but I also care about John."
"Thank you." He whispered. "But I still want to say sorry Mel. I didn't mean to hurt you if I did. Mel I would like to say some things right now but I can't because you aren't my girlfriend but there is a saying." He said. "If you loved the first you wouldn't have fallen for the second. So I really don't know who I like better."
"You don't have to choose; we can be friends." Melania smiled.
Jake rolled his eyes in his head. "Friends?" He asked. "Mel. I don't know. I really have to chose because I would like to be royal to Merena but I can't if I also like someone else." He said. "I'm still looking for her to tell her that we kissed." He said "I just can't find her."
"You need to tell her the truth, say it was my fault, but I didn't know you we're dating anyone. I wouldn't of done it if I knew." Melania told him. "Friends, Jake because my life is so screwed up right now; I don't know which way to turn. Just friends." She said it more like an order than a comment.
"I know we will be friends, but I don't know if I can date Merena anymore." He said. "I kissed you back."
Melania nodded her head in agreement- Oh yes he did!- she thought in her head. "You should try."
I haven't even seen her in so long, I'm afraid she died Mel." He whispered.
"Jesus! What the hell are you talking about?" Melania screamed.((Is she still a part of Potterheads?))
((Yeah.)"This girl threatened to kill her, and I haven't seen her in a while. I think she is dead Mel." He said. "I haven't seen Merena, Sylvia, or Tyler."
"I don't think so. No, she isn't. No she isn't." Melania tried to comfort him. He walked up and hugged him.
