"Yes..." Amanda sighed. "There are lots of animals here, including thestrals. But I don't suppose either of you can see them, can you?"

Andi nodded. "I can see them." She whispered and reached out to pet one as it lowered its head towards her.
"Really?" Amanda's face brightened. "My brother thinks I made them up. I never met anyone who could see them before!" Amanda sighed. "My brother doesn't believe me. But he wasn't even there when I saw..." Amanda trailed off. "When I saw..." Amanda choked, and couldn't finish.
Andi nodded. "It's a rough thing and a beautiful thing, seeing thestrals."
"Yes..." Amanda said. She stroked the snout of a thestral. Then the thestral lifted its wings and flew in the sky above them. "Thestrals like it here because its quiet, and the caretakers don't know this is here, so they can't trim the plants, and make it more tame, less wild. But that's why it's so pretty."
"Yes..." Amanda trailed off. Then, she looked at her owl flying around. Willow. Huh. Then, Amanda got a crazy idea. She was always getting ideas. She did like to climb trees, and she could only think of one tree on the grounds she hadn't climbed, unless you counted the sprouts that wouldn't support her."Have....have you ever..." Amanda began. What if they thought she was crazy?
"Um...." Amanda stammered. Just spit it out! she thought. "Have you ever tried to climb the womping willow?" she said rather fast.
((Sorry I gotta go. Bye friends!!))
Amanda sighed. "I guess your right. I was being stupid."((Gotta go, sorry guys! I'll probably not be able to be on tommorow, but soon.))
Eriq walked into the forbidden forest following Firenze. He didn't show it but he was nervous. He tripped over a root while thinking and grabbed onto Genevieve for support. Realizing what happened he let go and hurried forward.
Gen rolled her eyes and hurried on behind him "No reason to treat me like the plague Bellaire," she whispered as she tripped on through the brambles and nearly fell as well, Firenze paused and searched around for several heartbeats before walking on farther into the forest.Gen shivered at the cold air and had to long for the warm and homey air of Hogsmeade, she told herself to perk up, Eriq would soon hasd his answers to the dreams and besides this wasn't the first time she'd been here, she thought recalling Artemis's poisoning and their little quest, was that really only three months ago? she thought amazed.
((I'll be back in ten minutes exactly thelastreolutionary! sorry))
(( that's ok :) ))
Eriq shivered as he followed Firenze farther into the forest. By now night had fallen. In his haste to leave the dormitory he only had on his white button up shirt, shoes, and black jeans. The drastically different colors only pronounced how pale the third year was.
Eriq shivered as he followed Firenze farther into the forest. By now night had fallen. In his haste to leave the dormitory he only had on his white button up shirt, shoes, and black jeans. The drastically different colors only pronounced how pale the third year was.
((WOW! haha))Gen bit her lip and flicked her wand muttering, a warmth spread up down her body and she hoped Eriq's too he looked cold. Firenze paused and he turned speaking sonorously "I think this is far enough away." he said quietly but his voice filled the woods around them with feeling "Would you like to sit children?" he asked and Gen swallowed her annoyance but still remained standing.
Eriq shook his head no to stressed to do anything else. He crossed his arms over his chest in a defensive gesture.
Firenze took a breath and spoke "Those dreams which you suffered were side effects of a stressed couple of weeks but also," his dark eyes were fixed on Eriq as he spoke and when he did Genevieve felt like it was from far away "You are a seer Eriq." he stated and Gen fell to her knees covering her mouth in a shocked gasp.
Eriq paled, " What do they mean?!" he asked referring to his dreams. " I can't believe they aren't ever going away" he whispered
Firenze shrugged a odd movement for such a large creature "Nothing," he said quietly "They may be figments of something to come or they may not be." he continued calmly and Gen spoke up in a shockedly quite tone."But-but but how? I mean he's not-I've been able to read his mind, a lot really but how come?" Firenze silenced her raising his hand "The Gift of Sight does not come through the same for everyone girl," he said softly.
Eriq looked at Firenze his eyes wide. " So what happens to me now?" He asked shakily, " Will they always come through to me at night?"
Firenze shook his head "No. They shall not but in times of stress or in times that something may come then there will be manifestations of that." he said patiently and Gen wide eyed looked to Eriq a urgent light in her eyes"That dream-that dream you had must have been a very-far fetched manifestation." she said trying to comfort him, she was still sure of it though.
Gen sighed and looked up to Firenze putting on a cheery look "Well thanks and good luck negotiating with the centaurs!" she said brightly and whispered "Levicorpus." the near-unconscious Eriq was lifted and as soon as she turned her back her face fell, goodness "Gracious." she finished in a whisper and she slowly made her way through the forest again trying not to think of what was beyond the torches flickering far off. In a way she was almost excited about those developments, Hogwarts sure had a lot of Seers this year. She thought wryly and continued on "Bellaire you all right?" she asked as they neared the end of the woods
Eriq turned around and punched a tree effectively bloodying his hand, " Im not going to be a normal seer am I" he asked angrily,
Gen rolled her eyes up to the sky before grabbing his hand and pinning it to the mat of magic the Levicorpus spell had woven "Listen Eriq," she said through gritted teeth "You're certainly not going to be seriously effected by it unless you kept punching bloody random trees okay?!" she asked crossly and exited the forest clearing into the grounds "Okay?!" she repeated with a glare, this was the no-nonsense Gen.
Eriq scowled at her. " Would you let me down!" He snapped at her. Peopel by now had noticed they were missing as he saw figures with lanterns leaving the castle. " We're calling attention to ourselves"
Gen lifted her wand out of her pocket and whispered a few words lowering the rowan wood so that Eriq was lowered as well and then jabbed it releasing the spell, Gen sighed and tried not to slouch, she was exhausted. "Well. So we are. Now what?" she answered simply.
" Two options, we get caught and probably have detention for a month or we run!" he said grabbing her hand and heading towards the bridge.
Gen grinned "I'd say that's a good plan!" she shouted over the wind in her ears and ran like she'd never ran before the chasm in front of her gradually growing lager but also the bridge across it, she drew in her breath a furious wind whipping around her face and tightening the grin.
Eriq pulled even with her and he could hear shouts in the distance. It was becoming incredubly dark and difficult to see.
Gen cursed as she stumbled and dropped to a knee but righted herself and snatching up her wand took a chance and urgently murmured "Lumos," what she saw however was enough to make her scream out loud, they were teetering on the edge of the viaduct chasm. The girl's first thought was blank vertigo, the second was using muscle she often but never as fervently used before dragged Eriq away mind blank and search for the bridge entrance.
Eriq stumbled back and scrambled up and gasped realizing they both almost fell to their deaths. " There" he exclaimed pointing a little farther over to the left.
Gen's breath came in gasping heaves and she scrambled up a small incline and wheeling her arms for balance she grabbed the balustrade and leaped on the stone laced boots making contact with a sharp clack, in the blink of a eye she turned around to see if Eriq was near...
Eriq wasn't far behind he jumped onto the bridge hearing a few pebbles fall below. He took deep steadying breaths. " Now what?" he asked looking at Genevieve
Gen clenched her teeth, "We sit tight and hope for the best how's that?" she asked quietly but stiffly and brushed past Eriq to the pillar at the corner and ignoring just how close she was to the edge sat and curled up until the stout twelve year old was almost invisible to the naked eye, she gestured to the next inlet and asked "Well?!"
Eriq sighed and sat down he heard thunder crsh in the distance followed by lightning that lit up the sky. The skinny third year leaned his head against the wall closing his eyes and breathing slowly. It didnt seem like it could get much worse.
