He cackled. "The best part of being dead, is that you can't die again. I'm invincible. Now look what you've done," he said as he slowly made a fist. The roots tightened around her and she could be heard trying to breath.

Hunter kicked John in the chest and made him fly backwards. "See you in hell," he said as he lifted Becca up in the air and then floated next to Lilith. "Thank you for the gift," she said as they disappeared.
"At least in hell you'll get what you deserve." John said to the emptiness John sighed and sat down tring to think where thy would go.
They arrived at Hunter's old home. "Ahh, great to be back, right Becca?" He asked the squirming pile of roots. "No, no, we can't have that can we?" He said as he made the roots tighter around her. Lilith and Hunter both laughed. "Once I have her body, you can have her soul. And you can kill Jackal."
"Either the castle or his home." John said to himself "Lilith I have a deal for you if your willing to take it." John spoke to the space.
She perked up her ears at his voice. "And what do you think will be better than Rebecca? There is nothing else I want."
"Oh isn't there?" John persisted.
"No, but I'll here you out," she scoffed.
"Lilith you know what I'm talking about." John said in a matter of fact tone.
"Really I thought you were all knowing isn't that how you put it." John said snoddily.
She smirked, "what are you getting at, Jackal? I've followed you since you found the Elixer of Life, what else are you hiding?"
"Well if you followed me since then you should know." John said smiling innocently.
She arched an eyebrow. "Alright, well since your not letting me know what it is that is more precious than Rebecca, I'll just be in my way back to her lifeless body," she said evilly.
"Well you know there always is numen." John said coldly.
"What do you know about numen?" She asked.
"So I see I've gotten your attention, well I've met him three times each time he said something about you but you wouldn't be interested would you?" John asked slyly.
"Alright, you can have the girl if you tell me," she said.
"Well the frist time was a very short meeting five minutes at the most but he said something like "that Lilith she is very pretty and he went on and on about that subject, the second time was no different but the third time was interesting but before I tell you let me see Becca." John said keeping his voice steady,
She growled and called Hunter. He brought out a passed out Becca. "Alright, now tell me," she demanded.
"Give her unto me and I will tell." John said coolly.
"Lilith, you can't be serious," Hunter said in disbelief. "Give him the body!" She yelled over her shoulder. He dropped Becca's body in John's arms.
"Thank you." John said holding Becca, "now he said and I don't know if this has any meaning to you Lilith but he said "if blood creith unto to heaven then the Devine shall come forthwith and with them bring the sorrow and joy of life for we who do not know do not hone and so not heal." John said looking at her for a reaction of any kind.
She disappeared with Hunter. Becca soon awoke in John's arms.
"Becca." John said cautiously.
She looked in his eyes. "John," she said just as cautious.
"Are you harmed at all?" John asked her concerned.
"I'm fine. Just a few bruises and cuts," she told him.
"Okay that's some what good, I can heal them." John said relieved.
"It's fine," she said tugging on her sleeve.
"Yes," she said uneasily, as she tried to get out of his arms.
John sate her down "where did they take you?"
"It doesn't matter, it's over with," she replied.
John looked at her oddly then shook his head "you want to do something?"
"No. I don't want to be anywhere near you," she said as she looked up at him with white, demented eyes.
"Really Lilith." John muttered under his breath "and why is that?"

"I always think of you. All the time, even if I doubt how you feel about me. You can't even try to show me your real feelings. I trust you, but you don't trust me," she said in a demented voice. Hunter was standing right behind her, whispering words into her ear.
"Hunter leave us." John said his voice low with murderous rage.
Hunter ignored him. He kissed her neck and whispered some more into her ear.
"infindo." John said as a streak of light hit hunters throat and cut it open.
Hunter recovered quickly. "I'll have my dear Rebecca back soon," he said as he disappeared. Becca fell on the ground as she turned back go normal.
John looked at Becca with worry "Becca." He said like the first time.
"John? Please help me up," she pleaded.
John helped her up "I'm sorry about that." John said miserably.
"I'm so sorry. What did I say?" She asked worriedly, "never mind that. John, I just want to get out of here."
"Agreed." He said "bye the way that feeling you got when hunter was controlling you that was the maker rule."
She nodded. "I love you," she whispered as she hugged him.
