He gathered up his books, awkwardly throwing Layla's paper back at her. He stumbled as he tried to leave, face blushing red.
Layla smiled as Charlie handed back her paper.
"I'm coming too, we have Herbology together." she said to Charlie standing up and picking up her stuff.
She waved goodbye to all.
"Let's meet again sometime!"

"Sure!" said Layla and headed after Charlie who, with his head to his feet, had started walking without her.
Elle was stretched over a beanbag in a corner, snuggled up to her Transfiguration text book.
"What? This doesn't even make sense. Nothing in this book makes a wit of sense!"
Elle traced the spine of the crumbling book with her pinky.

Andrew entered the library extremely annoyed.
"Stop following me!" he said, whispering loud as the pack of girls behind him giggled.
As if he had told them 'adore me forever!'.
He rolled his eyes, ignoring the pointing fingers and the curious looks. He sat on a table alone once more, and tried to read his book quietly.

Elle noted the loud bunch of girls who were flanking an annoyed boy.
"Andrew!" She exclaimed, receiving a glare from the librarian.

((Sorry!!))
Andrew turned his head to find Elle smiling at him. He felt a knot on his throat and his stomach felt jumpy. But he was so happy that she was there after all.
She came close and sat next to him. "Thank Merlin you're here!" he whispered to her. "I had forgotten that we were to meet here and I stopped by the Great Hall and they spotted me." he said, pointing a bookshelf with his eyes to indicate where the lunatic fans were.

"Huh. Well, do you have any ideas that would make us look like a real couple? Because I get the feeling we look unnatural. They are peeking at you, this is disgusting," Elle murmured.
Andrew sighed. "Welcome to my world. Well, I don't think there are a lot of things to do..." he said pausing for a minute.
His hands hesitated but finally he took Elle's hand from her lap and cuddled it in both of palms. His heart started racing and he tried to calm himself down, he couldn't ruin this. It would seem as if he was playing with Elle's feelings.
But he couldn't help but wonder. Her eyes gleamed and she smiled softly when she saw him taking her hand. Either she was really good at this or maybe... Maybe she felt something as well.

Elle felt the drum of her heart in against her ribs, a warm feeling flowing through her body from the places where Andrew's hand touched hers. She looked up and noticed Andrew looked a little nervous and she smiled reassuringly, eyes shining, lips parted slightly.
Carefully she sat up as tall as she could (which wasn't very tall) and she kissed Andrew's cheek softly.
Pulling away she felt her face burn, heat rising to her face. "I'm sorry," she said stupidly, "that was too bold."

Andrew's body got covered in goose bumps and his heart skipped a beat when Elle pressed her lips against his cheeks. He raised his head to meet her eyes and he sat there for a couple of seconds not saying anything.
"No, that was... it was... good." he said, trying not to choke on the last word. He felt wrong. This was wrong. Andrew wanted Elle to date him for real, to kiss him and for him to feel free to tell her that it made his knees melt.
But he was afraid.

"Oh," Elle said faintly, her eyes flitted from Andrew's eyes to his mouth and back again.
How could she tell him she wanted to go out for real? To kiss him for real?
She thought vaguely that she still hadn't had her first kiss. Andrew was the only person she loved enough to share it with.
"Um, anyway," she said warily, for Andrew's eyes were lingering on her mouth for longing moments then were needed.
Just do it, her mind urged her.
Do what?
Kiss him.

((I'm here!!!!))
Andrew leaned towards her instinctively. He felt as the world had disappeared, as if they were alone, just them. Her eyes sparkled and she glowed more than ever to Andrew's eyes. Flashbacks of that afternoon on the lake were running through his mind, important memories; her laugh, her soft smile as she was petting his cat, her gazing to the view.
Every little thing about her made him want to hug her for eternity and never let her go. He realized that he was almost there, just one inch away from kissing her.
And then he felt a bump on his back and everything shuttered. Surprised to the bone he turned around to face the most fanatic girl ever, batting her big brown eyes at him and smiling silly as she was apologizing for what happened.
She kept touching his shoulders as if they were 'best buds' and he was too chocked and confused to do something, or look at what was happening to Elle.

Elle felt a wave of shivers flow through her.
Oh.
The pretty girl that was making goo-goo eyes at Andrew was flirting nonstop. Ugh.
"Excuse us. We are a bit busy," Elle said coolly, standing confidently. "If it's alright with you, Andrew, I'd like to move this little scene to the lake," she said, eyes fixed on the girl, who looked taken aback.

Andrew heard Elle's words and he immediately fixed his eyes on her. She looked so radiant that it must have made the other girl so pissed off; Andrew heard her throwing some books of the table and the librarian rushed over to escort her out.
Andrew stood up and looked at Elle who was know blushing, as if she couldn't believe that she was so confident before. He took her by the hand, gently this time, and his soft voice echoed.
"Let's go." he said, and they hurried off.
He would do it. He would tell her how he felt, there was no way he was going to lose her over some stupid shallow girls.

Elle nodded, her eyes blazing.
After the fire cooled down, Elle put a hand to her forehead.
((Warp to lake?))

Damien sighed and walked through the library looking down, he had mostly recovered from his previous injury.
Paige flipped open the top book from the stack next to her.
"No no no!" She whisper-yelled at herself.
She tossed the book behind her, into the growing pile. Opening the next book she read through the table of contents.
"A manticore only eats... What?" She creased her brow.

Paige looked up. At a table close by her a girl was sitting, sweating profusely.
Paige jumped up. "Oh my gods, are you ok?"
Paige grabbed a handkerchief from her pocket, and wiped the girl's face before she could say anything.

Paige looked disbelieving.
"Do you need anything? I can take you to the hospital wing, and what's your name?"
Paige slowed down, sitting in the chair beside her.
((Mine's short too! No worries.))

"And I'm Paige. If there's anything I can get you..."
((So sorry for the sort post Grace!))

Paige thought quick. She was pretty sure this girl shouldn't be on her feet for long, so she stretched out her arm.
"Wait." She said, smiling. "Could you stay? I...I don't have many friends. Tell me a little about yourself?" She pleaded, and this was half true, but mostly she wanted to ensure that this girl didn't walk around.

Paige kept her smile, but looked at her in confusion.
"Are you deaf? Or was there an accident? I don't mean to pry," she said softly, raising her eyebrows.

Paige calculated this answer.
"Ok. Do you mind if I sit here?" She gestured to the empty seat opposite Yellow.
When Yellow shrugged Paige went to retrieve her things. Plopping them down, Paige grinned. "What house are you in?"

"5th year also, and I'm a Gryffindor," she said proudly. Paige was always extra proud of her house, it felt so good to hear she'd been sorted in a good strong house; with so many amazing people.
"I'm almost 16 however. Next month, actually."

((Eek! Sorry!))
"Manticores. Fire demons, for care of magical creatures. Fortunately, Professor Hagrid didn't bring any in." Paige flipped through her 12th book.
"I mean what the heck do manticores eat?"

Paige gaped at her.
"You take COMC I take it?" She said in awe.
She wrote down a couple notes on her parchment.

"Manticores are fascinating. Animals that are nearly made of freaking fire." Paige said, turning another page.
"I have to write an essay on four rolls of parchment, about any creature I wanted. Manticores... I don't know. They're brilliant."

((Me too. Um... We could go somewhere else?))
Paige shrugged. "No, maybe, I don't know." she flipped through another book, slamming it shut moments later.
"I'm liking Arithmancy lately, and transfiguration has always been a favorite."

"No, I'm sick of the stuff. Lets go," Paige slipped all 25 books into her already bulging bag.
After seeing Yellow goggling at her bag, she smiled.
"I put an untraceable extension charm."

He looked up from his studies and spotted a boy sitting across from him, he was a young ravenclaw. Alec had seen him in the common rooms a couple of times.
He decided to go talk to him. He approached him and extended a hand.
" Hello, My names Alec" he said " You're new to hogwarts right

Keith was a little shy, but he had very intelligent eyes. He looked like the perfect Ravenclaw
" SO whats your favorite class so far"
"I'm sorry guys, but I really have to go!" he said, gathering his things quickly. "It was really nice to meet you all! I'll see you later Charlie, find me if you need anything. I'm sorry!"
He rushed out of the library, regretting drinking so much juice that morning.
(( Sorry I had to leave so suddenly, but I need a free character since it's my friend's first time RPing! :) ))
