((Lyra and Grace, when Elle is done RPing with Myriad, do you want to do some, Andrew-Yellow-Elle RP?))

Elliot was rummaging through the shelves for the book he needed to help him study for his potions test. He was usually pretty good at potions, but lately he's lost his skill at crushing and mixing. He smiled as his hands brushed the familiar rough leather of the book. It was always what he went to when he wasn't doing well in the class. Elliot returned to his chair, opened the book and started reading.

"Watch out!" he called, but it was too late. He rushed to the scene of the disaster, stooping to pick up one of the books.
"Y-you all right, Elliot?" He looked at the girl, who was righting herself, and gulped. He never talked to girls. "A-and...uh...um..." He didn't know her name.

Once they all got up and steadied themselves, Charlie started stuttering. Elliot knew how nervous Charlie could get around girls. "Hey, I'm sorry, I should've heard you coming and warned you or something," He said to the girl. "I'm Doughnut, and this is my friend Charlie."
Layla marched in the library with big decisive steps. Her hair was fluffy and tangled and her cheeks red with anger. The books on her arms were wet and so was her robe.
How dared they, how could they, she thought. She'd show them alright.
As she was walking she didn't notice the commotion that was happening in front of her and she tripped over someone, her big glasses falling off her face.
"Merlin!" she said, trying to get up.

Layla took her glasses and put them on again. She faced many others but in front of her sat a girl.
She grabbed her books and stood up. She dried her self up and her books. THen she looked down at the others.
"Oh yes, I'm fine." she said, kind of abruptly. "Thank you." she said, and left to sit in a table. Layla was going to make them regret doing this to her.

Layla turned to face them, fixing up her glasses on her nose.
"Oh well, sure, why not? Hi, I'm Layla Flutter." she said, taking out her hand and waiting for the others to introduce themselves.

((Wait for the others after this?))
Layla's eyes fluttered for a moment as she was trying to recall her face.
"Right, Terrell. You are good at DADA." she said, speaking her mind.

"Ch-Charlie Hornby." He muttered something that sounded like Hufflepuff.
He glanced at Elliot. After he made his introduction, maybe he could get away.

Elliot gave both girls a big, toothy grin and said, "I'm Elliot Conner, but everyone calls me Doughnut, or Do. I think Elliot sounds weird. Candy?" He asked, taking a handful of treats out of this pocket and offering it to the girls and Charlie. It was his best friend-making strategy because...who doesn't like candy?
Layla was dumbfounded. Doughtnut?
"Nice to meet you. Doughnut is weird, may I call you Elliot?" she asked, helping them out picking up the books.
"How about we go find a table to sit down. Everybody is looking at us."
Layla didn't mind, but she thought that kid Charlie would faint if they stayed there any longer.
She wanted to get on to work, she couldn't simply waste time.

"Yes, let's sit. We should work" he agreed.

"Or you could just call him Nut. That's what I do when he-he's...." acting like one, he meant to finish, but instead he swallowed, regretting his weak attempt at a joke.
Layla smiled at them. They were weirdly funny and refreshing. They all found a table and sat around each other. Layla put down her books of Potions and Charms but she didn't want to do homework immediately.
SHe took out a quill, ink and a parchment and started writing maniacally her plans for revenge.

Layla looked at Annelise and she fixed her glasses along her nose.
"Oh well, let's just say tomorrow you'll be hearing a lot of girlish screams in the 2nd floor's girls bathroom." she said.
Those girls would regret bullying her.
"But after that, I really need to catch up on my homework. What are you working on?" asked Layla everybody, trying to clean up her glasses. She just couldn't rest, she was still hyper.

"What kind of prank is this?" He asked, curiously and defensively.
Layla snorted.
"This is no prank." she said, not lifting her eyes from the parchment.
"This is war. I'll show people that I'm not a doll to be played with."
Layla didn't care if people thought she was shallow enough to perform prank. If she didn't put those girls in their place, they wouldn't leave her alone.

Layla stopped writing and looked at Charlie. She smiled innocently and peacefully saying..
"Not for me."
She saw that Charlie was working on Herbology.
"Oh hey, want some help with that? It's my favorite class."

"A-all right. I'm, er, not very good at Herbology." Blush stained his cheeks. Only because he was scared of the greenhouses. Charlie never payed attention in that class, usually preferring to cover his ears, squeeze his eyes shut, and pretend he was somewhere else until class was over.
Layla forgot about her 'evil' plans for a moment and smiled. After all meeting new people who didn't try to flush her glasses down the toilet was a rare opportunity.
"Well, I think I've seen you in my class." she said flipping through some papers. She got out her Herbology paper that was due that day.
"Here. You can get some things out of it, sorry if my handwriting isn't good. The parchment got wet." she said and stuck her head on her arms with a sad face.
She looked over at Elliot.
"Sorry if I was a bit distant and clod before... Doughnut." she said giggling.

He looked at her thoughtfully, smiled, then started giggling himself. He was glad nobody was angry at him.
"Don't worry about it, I have some bad habits myself," he said, momentarily looking back at his book. "Say, what would a beautification potion do to someone who's already very beautiful? Would it make them so beautiful you'd have to look away or something? Just a thought."

Layla thought about it.
"Someone being beautiful is.. subjective. Maybe in the eyes of those who think someone's ugly, with the Beautification Potion they become beautiful. Or something to that degree." she said, not really knowing why she kept bubbling.
She fixed up her glasses and focused on what to do next. She looked at the parchment and realized that what she had written that far didn't even make sense. She guessed anger made her write them.
She didn't want revenge. She just wanted to be left alone.

Layla sighed.
"If they were seventh years, the best approach would be the Headmistress. No, those girls are in our year. Unfortunately. THe thing is on one hand, I want to see them being bulied by me this time but on the other hand, I don't want to do anything. The whole situation makes me tired."
Layla smiled because they were all listening to her. Actually listening. Her whole life she was ignored, it was one of the reasons that honesty became such an active part of her character.

He listened to the conversation intently, remembering his own experience with being bullied. People calling him fat, or short, or even fouler words along those lines. "I feel like everyone goes through it at one point or another." He said. "The key is to not let it get to your head. Believe you're better than them, and you are."
He really didn't like people getting bullied. He always believed it was a silling thing people did to make people feel less than them. That was stupid when you could just all be friends and enjoy some cake.

"Oh well, it doesn't matter." said Layla crumpling her parchment of 'evil' doings.
Layla noticed that Charlie seemed bumped.
"Are you okay?" she asked with a smile.

Layla saw Charlie and she could see he was not the kind of person who would speak up to people; he was shy and insecure.
Layla's smile was discrete and invisible. Charlie was the kind of friend she'd want to have, someone grounded and realistic. Her protective side appeared and she felt the need to be around him so that she could help him in any way that she could.
