"No, im the oldest. I think he is fifth year, not sure." Lena told her; she was courious as well.
"That's cute!" Becca replied, "I'll keep an eye out for him. I'll even help you get ready and pick out a dress if you haven't yet."
"Sure! That would be great, i have not gotten a dress yet. Have you?" Lena asked her all excitedly.
"Nope! We can help each other! Do you have something in mind already?"
"Something that isn't bright and attract attention, but cute. What about you?" Lena asked her excited to have someone to help her.
"I was thinking pale colors, like pale blue or pale purple. I like how innocent it looks," she said.
"Nice, id probably go with black, darker purple, or lighter pink. What do you think?" Lena asked, wondering what would look best
"I like the darker purple better," Becca said, "and with silver heels, it would look really pretty!"
"Perfect! Where should we go?" Lena asked her
"I don't know. We can go to Hogsmeade, or to Diagon Alley. There is bound to be a store there."
"Probably, Diagon Alley. When do you want to go?" Lena asked her.
"We can go a few days before the ball, so we won't have trouble getting our dresses fitted. We don't want to stop breathing so we can fit into our dresses or be swimming in them!" Becca said with a laugh, "we want them to fit just right on our bodies!"
"Right." Lena said as she laughed along.
"Okay, she would like that. Thanks, well i have to go feed my cat before class. It was nice talking to you. See you around." Lena told Becca a she stood up to leave.
Crystal walked into the library after Potions, her book bag slung over her shoulder. She slipped into a random aisle and sat at the far corner of the table. She switched on a light and pulled a book off the shelf.
"Bye!" Becca said, "well, what am I going to do now?"
Becca noticed Crystal in the corner. She got up and walked towards her. "Hey Crystal!"
Crystal jumped in her seat. "Merlin's pants, you startled me!"
Crystal nodded. "I'm fine. Just reading... er..." Crystal glanced at the book's spine. "Everything One Needs To Know About Potions." She scowled. "I'm not THAT bad in Potions..."
"Oh, well if you ever need help in Potions, I'm always available. I love Potions. So, have time to talk, or should I leave to let you read?" She asked.
"No, please, sit down," Crystal said, gesturing to the empty seat beside her own. "I didn't even know what book I pulled off the shelf. How are you feeling?"
"Better! Had such a great talk with Lena. We were talking about crushes, and the ball."
"Ball? As in... dance?" Crystal asked glumly.
"Yes! Why are so down?" Becca asked concerned.
"Well. I'm absolutely a walking disaster on my feet," Crystal said flatly. "And, I'll probably not even go to the ball at all. I don't know many people, yes, I know it's been four years, and I wouldn't have a date anyway. What's the point?"
"Oh come on. I'm exactly like you! I am terrible on my feet, I don't know anyone, even of I'm a fifth year, and I don't have a date! And it's not too late to get a boyfriend!" Becca told her, "Lena, her cousin, and I are going to go shopping for dresses! Come with us!"
"A boyfriend!" Crystal yelped. "Dresses... I suppose that would be alright... Mum gave me a reasonable amount of spending money. Fine," Crystal said, giving in.
Mel walked up, "yea! Come join us!" She winked and said, "there are lots of fine quality boys here, we can surely get you the pick of them all!"
Crystal leaned back in her chair and saw the girl from the Entrance Hall. She heard what the girl said and blushed. "I suppose..."
Becca smiled. "We are going to find someone for you. And do you guys have dress ideas?"
"Uh-huh! That is my next mission!" She smiled.
Crystal smiled. "Not really. I'm not usually one for dresses."
"I was thinking strapless and something to flatter our skin color and figures." Mel said, knowing fashion was her expertise. ((What are your skin colors and figures??))
"We'll still find the perfect one for you!"
John sighed and exited the library to go to history of magic.
"Sounds great!" Becca exclaimed, "I'm looking for more pale colors, and innocent look." ((Becca is a pale tan))
((Crystal is fair toned. Tall, normal weight for her age (14) ))
"Ok. Well we should go look," she suggested.
"Yep! Lena and I were planning to go a few days before the ball to go get them. We want to make sure they fit."
"If you guys want," Mel said shrugging her shoulders.
"Well... if you're sure," Crystal said uncertainly.
"Yep!" Mel said sweetly. (Where to?)
