Recognizing Henry Thorn, Micah snatched the book closed, only serving to spark Henry's curiosity.
"Let me see that!" he barked at Micah. Confused, the boy hesitated, and an impatient Henry took the book by force, soaking up its words like a sponge.
"Jackal," he growled.

Micah jumped up "What are you playing at, Henry? snatching the book back he waved his wand and it spun up to the upper shelf inserting itself onto it. "You may be of the impression that you are indeed hot stuff but many of us would wish you reconsider that"

Artemis stood up from her corner, her heart thudding. She was good at charms. What should she do? Micah was only annoyed, but Henry knew more about the Jackals than Micah realised...

Micah stowed his wand in his jacket pocket but kept it accessible "Well, then what are we dealing with, Henry? enlighten me."
John walked into the library his head downhe sat down on a chair and closed his eyes.
Glowering at Micah, Henry summoned the book back to him.
"If you want to know what this is all about--" he huffed, gesturing to John, "--ask him."
At that he hurried out of the library, book clutched tight to his chest, not even bothering to check it out.

Micah sighed and walked over to John "Hello John, what's up?" he said sitting down at the windows on a overstuffed purple armchair....
Lena walked in the library to return her book and saw henry walk out upset, leaving micah. Lena returned her book and approached micah, "Hey, i don't think I've met you. Im Lena," she said as she held out her hand.
John sighed "what do you want to know?" John said looking up.
Micah smiled "Lovely to meet you Lena, Micah Lancaster at your service" he said standing and shaking her hand "Ravenclaw, fourth year"
Micah nodded "Pardon us." sitting down he spoke as Lena moved off " That git-Ah, Henry was rather interested in a book on Nicolas Flamel," he paused "John, your name was mentioned in it."
"My family name was in it yes." John replied.
"Nice, to meet you. Gryffindor, sixth year." Lena told him and turned to John, "Whats wrong?"
"In association with the Flamels" Micah sat back and a thought struck him "John were you taught immortality by Flamel?" he said deceptively calm...((Edit: Lena did not hear that)
Lena sat down and listened to their conversation.
John sighed and said "the truth must come out at one point, yes I was."
"Ah. So you are more then one hundred years old." Micah said clasping his hands together.
"Yes." John replied sighing again and looked around.
"Whoaaa, whats going on?" Lena asked them all confused
"You took the elixir of life?" Lena turned to John and asked him.
"Yes, for years now." John replied looking at her.
"Lena, please don't panic." Micah began.

Lena thought to herself, oh-my-god! She asked John, "If you stop taking it will you look like your real age? And you are right?"
"If I stop taking it I think I'll die." John said calmly.
"Why did you do it in the first place?" Lena asked him as she collected herself.
"I really don't know my father insisted on it." John said and closed his eyes.
"Wait one moment." Micah said "I don't mean to dredge up bad memories, why wasn't Voldemort able to continue growing his power through the Elixer?"
"That would be a question to ask my father or Nicholas but unfortunately there both dead." John replied.
"Oh, I'm very sorry John." Micah said quietly, they sat silent for minutes until Elise broke the silence "What about Melania?"
"What about her?" John asked concerned.
"Are you going to keep taking it and be young while your girlfriend gets old? Are you going to keep dating her?" Lena asked him, listening closely.
"Have you told her? and-" Micah took a breath "Is she the same age as you?"
"No! She is the same age as us." Lena yelled at him.
Micah kept his seat "Calm down Lena" he said quietly "Lady Makernin..."
"No she isn't the same age as me and she knows about this and as she ages I'll slowly stop taking the potion it will age me very fast so I'll have to carefully monitor my ageing process though." John replied and sighed.
"Ah, I can't say that I'm sorry she isn't but neither can I say I'm relieved" he paused "That had to be hard John."((I got to go, so have fun and I'll catch up later, good luck!))
Lena turned to John and told him with a raised voice, "what! You have to be kidding me! You are hundreds of years old, you cant be dating my cousin. Sorry, i don't think its the best idea."
"You'll have to take that up with her not me." John said calmly.
"Im sorry, but i think you should avoid her and leave her alone. Preferably i would like you to break ip with her." lena told him calmly as she stood up.
"I will not avoid her, nor will I break up with her." John replied and stood up.
Lena stood up, greeted micah and left.
