Appearance: Maëlle no doubt possesses natural beauty, with long, slightly wavy mocha colored hair, which is normally worn down or in a messy bun. Her skin is a lighter burlap color, with a many assorted freckles on her neck, arms, back and legs. They form no specific pattern, and Maëlle swears new ones keep popping up, yet she doesn’t mind them at all. Her eyes are a soft light brown eyes, with very long, dark, thick lashes. Her mouth is cupid shaped, and always seems to be tilted up slightly in a shy smile. She has a somewhat rounded face, and you can’t really make out her cheekbones but she has a strong jawline that defines and frames her face. Maëlle is 5’6” and is built somewhat thick.
Personality: Maëlle is quiet, and very insightful and empathetic. She is bookish and obsessed with coffee, and loves fall. Maëlle is very smart, but doesn’t really publicize her smarts, keeping them to herself most of the time. Her strongest quality is her ability to make other people feel beautiful and loved, because she loves herself, and accepts herself for who she is, and wants everyone else to feel the same. She is a little wary of trusting others, because her mother is so vague and doesn’t tell her anything in the short periods of time she’s home.
History: Maëlle lives in a small town southwest of Montpellier, France called Béziers, on the coast of southern France. She lives with her mother, father and baby sister Adele and a large husky dog named Bennett. Maëlle’s father is an American wizard from Queens, New York, who met her mother at the Triwizard Tournament that occurred while they were at school, her father at Ilvermorny and mother at Beauxbatons, when it was hosted at Beauxbatons. They kept in touch through letters and somewhat chaotic phone calls, and got married as soon as their 7th year at school ended, and had Maëlle a year later, when her mother was only 18. Maëlle’s mother is almost never home during the school year or during the summers, leaving her father and Maëlle to take care of Adele. Maëlle doesn’t really know where her mother is, or what her line of work really is either. Maëlle’s father is the French Minister of Magic’s personal assistant, which keeps him also extremely busy, leaving Maëlle to care for the baby during all her time off from school. Maëlle’s father hired a nanny named Bridget who stays with Adele everyday that Maëlle isn’t home. Bridget is only four years older than Maëlle, and they are great friends.

*Physical Description: Evanna has a headful of blond hair down to around her shoulders that is normally down, sometimes, on rare occasions, there might be two small ponytails in her hair, sometimes braids. She has a pair of hazel-green eyes that can cleverly show the emotions that she wants to communicate. She has relatively tanned skin. She is of average height and weight for someone her age, if not, a little bit lighter than most other people her age. She normally wears skirts or dresses, but shorts are fine with her. She has her ears pierced and will sometimes wear earrings but they're normally pastel colors, as she doesn't want them to be too noticeable.
*Personality: Evanna can be nice, peppy, encouraging; or she can be loud, smart and annoying to most. She can be as sassy if she wants to. She is determined about everything she wants to complete. But really, she is emotionless. She doesn't feel anything for anyone and doesn't quite know how to feel those emotions. She wants to know how people feel that way, and when she sometimes appears abrasive, judgy or mean, she is really just trying to be normal. She enjoys reading and debating about subjects she has a lot of knowledge on. Getting in an argument is like fighting with a walking encyclopedia. She wants to become great with magic, even better than Dumbledore and the founders of Hogwarts. She can lie really easily, in fact, almost everyone can't tell the difference between her lies and truths.
*History: Evanna lives in a small cottage between the countryside and city of London. She was born to two happy parents, a pureblood mother, and a half-blood father. She was their second wizard child, so they were kind of expecting her to be as great as her brother. Unfortunately, who could beat a natural-born Quidditch player who was also an animagus? Nobody. Evanna was soon ignored by her parents, being a disappointment as, by her sixth birthday, she still hadn't shown any sign of magical talent. She started to grow older, and as she did, she lost her sense of emotions, and care as her parents didn't care about her anymore. So when she got her invite to Hogwarts, it was the first display of her magic when she made the all the lights in a four-block radius go out with her excitement. She was worried about bumping into her brother, but as they were in different houses, she was totally safe.

Physical Description: Cara is simple, but pretty. She has curly, light brown hair that reaches her collar bone. Cara has blue, average size eyes with delicate eyelashes and large irises. Her nose is rather pointy and her lips are small and pink. When Cara smiles the whole room can't resist but smile to. She has beauty marks below and at the left side of her left eye. Cara is about average at 5'5" and has a longish neck and long legs. She likes to wear jewelry that's been woven like bracelets or anklets.
Personality: Cara is a girl that loves animals, the outdoors, and art. She likes people and is generally nice and accepting. She doesn't care what people think of her, therefore isn't shy or timid in the slightest. Since a young age, Cara has loved to make art and is quite good at capturing faces, scenery, and a lot of other things. She is positive and makes people around her feel good about themselves. Her grades are average and her favorite classes are Herbology and DADA. She doesn't do great in Potions, but she still likes the class fine. The teachers love her because she isn't afraid to raise her hand and be wrong. She also gives compliments to everyone, especially the teachers.
History: Cara's parents are both muggles, but Cara isn't embarrassed about it even though she gets teased at school. At age 3, she got a baby brother who they named Ben. Her parents got divorced when she was 5 for reasons she never knew and she and her brother stayed with her mum. Cara's mum works at a college as an English teacher at a local college, in Wales, and her dad moved to the U.S. Once she got used to having her dad gone, she had a happy childhood. She visits him in America every May for her birthday. She loves both of them and was distraught when her dad moved away. When she was accepted into Hogwarts she was pleased, but she was worried that her brother wouldn't get in too. However, he got accepted too and is now attending as a second year.

Physical Description: Black hair and grey eyes, he doesn't really strike many people as charming. His black hair is normally either messy or neatly gelled, and that changes a lot, depending on his mood. His grey eyes are constantly stormy, but anyone with the right personality can make them soft. Pale, he looks like he has a vitamin D deficiency. He is average height for his age, if not a little bit shorter than most people.
Personality: Seemingly hard and solid, it's just the cover he has on just in case he's talking to anybody that might have something against him or anybody who will use his own information against him. He really is a sweetheart. He is goofy and likes to make jokes. He has learned to tolerate and put up with his parent problems and his new family. He likes to play music and draw, but that doesn't mean he isn't physically active as well. He is quite cunning and can formulate a plan to help any of his friends without harming anyone in a matter of seconds.
History: Sebastian and his twin brother Zachary was born to Isabel Little, a halfblood who's mate ditched her once she was pregnant with Sebastian and found out that she was a half-blood, which meant his family had officially lost their pureblood lineage. He fled away from Isabel, and away from his twin children, who Isabel was now burdened with of taking care alone and without help. She tried to raise them, Zach turning out abusive and hating of the world, Zach slipped into depression, and Sebastian would've sunk in as well if his mother hadn't tried to fetch them back out. She sent him to Hogwarts, and he learned how to use his abilities well. In his third year, Isabel married Faolan Hunter, a Muggle-born who was strict but caring at the same time. He gained a stepsister, Scarlett Callista Hunter. She was his best friend beside Zachary, and they both tried to help Zach out whenever they could. Zachary was sorted into Griffyndor and Callista into Slytherin, as she was smart in a cunning way and ambitious about what she wanted to become.

Appearance: Rhea is tall, at about 5’11”, slender, with graceful, long features. Her eyes are a startling deep green around the pupil, and spreads to a lighter brown throughout the iris, with a halo of almost black around the edge. It is because of her interesting eyes that she was named Rhea. Her lashes are long and thick, like a deer’s, and her eyes are almond shaped. Rhea’s skin is a light brown, with a splatter of freckles on her nose, cheekbones, and forehead. Her nose is long and pixie-like, and her mouth is thin, she has high cheekbones. Rhea’s hair is a dark, chocolatey brown, and naturally very curly and thick, it falls just below her shoulders, and Rhea wears it naturally all the time, and barely bothers to brush through it in the mornings. Rhea’s teeth are white and aren’t perfectly straight, because she neglected to ever wear her retainer, despite having braces from ages 11-13. Rhea usually wears halter tank tops with a cardigan or jacket over, and jeans under her robes, and Birkenstocks when it isn’t too cold. Her feet and fingers are long, and thin, suited for playing a plethora of instruments. Rhea doesn’t wear makeup at all unless its the tiniest bit of mascara or some concealer, but she lives on chapstick. Her eyebrows are “perfect” and are thick, dark and pointed naturally.
Personality: Rhea is convinced she was born in the wrong era, and her wardrobe, music taste, and manner of speaking all reflect the 80’s. She loves to read practically anything, but especially fantasy adventures, and has an excellent memory for trivia about all books, but not much else. She also loves music, and plays the violin and piano. She enjoys singing even though she’s completely terrible. Rhea is very relaxed, and laid back most of the time. She is easy to talk to and extremely funny. She is an open book, and isn’t a very deep character. She’s nice to you but can be pretty sassy, but for the most part she’s really sweet. Rhea has trouble dealing with crying people, its one of her fears, and makes her uncomfortable. She never knows quite what to do to comfort a crying person. Hazel’s a hopeless romantic, and is really good with words when she wants to be.
History: Rhea grew up on an island off the west coast of Greece, called Zakynthos. Her mother is full Greek, and has lived on their island her whole life as well. Her father is half Greek, half English, and is an art director for The Daily Prophet wizarding newspaper. Rhea has two brothers, one older, one younger and her mother is pregnant with a fourth child, another boy, who Rhea’s mom wants to be called Luca. Hazel has lived a somewhat normal life, and lives in a larger wizarding community on the island that makes up about 10% of the population alone. She has many wizarding friends that go to school with her, and no muggle friends at all.
Pets: Rhea has two Scottish Fold cats, one gray named Castor and one white & gray named Pollux.

Physical description: Maeve is short and petite, being thin and standing at only 4’9. She has a pale complexion and dark brown, almost black hair with dark purple tips. She likes to wear bright sundresses in the spring and summer and darker sweaters in the winter and fall. Her eyes are a light brown, which she used to despise but now embraces. She has a noticeable scar on her left arm.
Personality: Maeve has a sarcastic personality, but knows when to be serious and when she has crossed the line. She has a dark sense of humor, but also laughs at the dumb jokes nobody else laughs at. She has a strong work ethic, and for her school always comes first. She is very energetic and will talk for days if you let her, but is quite shy around people that she don’t know well. She is stubborn, and will fight for what she wants if she thinks she deserves it.
History: Maeve was born to two muggle parents, and is the oldest of three. She has two twin sisters, Celine and Celeste, who are 9. Now that she has gotten her letter, the twins are very excited to get theirs when they turn 11. Three months after the twins were born, her mother walked out. After this, Maeve, along with her siblings and father, moved to the countryside. There she was raised on a farm, and because of that she developed a deep love for animals. When she was seven, she got in a bad car crash that left a noticeable scar on her left arm. When she got her letter, her father was thrilled and went to an animal shelter to get her a cat of her very own.

This is my first time ever making a character on any roleplay, so bear with me if it’s really bad.

Name: Layla Wynn AshfordAge: 14 (4th year)
Physical description: Layla is lanky and just under six feet tall, with flaming red hair that cascades down to her hips. She has cat-like green eyes framed with thick lashes, and is incredibly pale despite her love of the outdoors. Layla hates her school uniform, and wears it as little as possible. Instead, she prefers to wonder the school grounds in an oversized jumper, leggings and her favourite red gum boots.
Personality: Layla’s personality is as fiery as her hair. She can be very argumentative and stubborn at times, especially if someone gets on her bad side. Layla enjoys time alone as she can clear her head (she becomes agitated easily) on long walks around the school. However, those who take the time to get to know her better will discover that Layla is down-to-earth, bubbly and a loyal friend. Anyone who insults her or someone she loves had better watch out!
History: Layla was born into a proud Gryffindor family, so it came as no surprise when she received her Hogwarts acceptance letter at age two. Her competitive nature was most certainly sparked by her three older brothers: Finn (19), Terrence (17) and Tristan (15). The four siblings are constantly trying to one-up each other, and Tristan had to be rushed to St Mungo’s Hospital after Layla dared him to join her in a blind-folded broom race two years ago (he broke both arms, a leg and two ribs, not to mention the bruising). The family lives on a large estate just outside of Bristol.
Pets: Living in the countryside allows for the Ashford family to keep a lot of pets (a few unicorns have even been spotted on their property), but Layla’s favourite is a two year old black mouse called Ember. He sleeps by her pillow every night, and her brothers tease her about it relentlessly.

Despite what the picture below shows, Frida Wolfe has golden brown hair which reaches down to the very end of her shoulder blades and her hair at the tips tend to spike up. Frida is rarely seen without having her hair pulled up into a somewhat high ponytail. She hates having her hair constantly in her face so she pulls it up for this reason.
Frida stands at five foot, nine inches which is only three inches shorter than her twin, Dimitri, who stands at a perfect six feet. So her only in making herself look like she isn't a midget compared to her brother, is wearing her handy maroon Docs which give her two more inches.
When Frida is not wearing her school uniform, she brings along with her flannels of different colors, a good pair of pants that her Tante (aunt) gave her when she was visiting. One pair is chocolate brown which makes Frida's legs look incredibly slim and another is a beige color.

With her twin at her side, Frida is always the sarcastic and funny one. Sometimes she'll even tell you to your face that you're mental if she thinks you're acting weird. Either that or she will call you any other name that would come to mind. Even when her twin is not around with her, she still acts like herself and hardly listens to anyone who would say that she has to change her personality.
Frida is mostly sporty so she'll include herself in sports and games, mostly Quidditch though. Not the wimpy game of Wizard's Chess.
If a student or anyone is bothering or annoying a Wolfe, she will stop them immediately. Family first then everyone else.
Also: boys who have ever flirt with Frida will tell you that you have to watch out because if you dare flirt with her, she'll either put an absolute horrible charm on the poor boy or punch them automatically. She is definitely not the blushing type either so flattery from anyone besides her family will do you no good. Unless she knows that you really mean it then that all changes.
{History}
Near the countryside of America, the Wolfe's have made it their home for several years. But that all changed when the two oldest, Dimitri and Frida at the time, had received their letters to attend to Ilvermory. And it just so happened that the family was nearly ready to move out of the country to England. Both parent's had relatives and had grown up in that country, so they thought it was time that they should go back to their homeland.
The children didn't disagree whatsoever. The thrill of moving to a place totally different was the main attraction. A few months after they moved into a house in the rural area, Dimitri and Frida had received letters saying that they must attend Hogwarts, because the school year had already started. Both parents were shocked or hear that their children had magic in their veins but didn't refuse them in letting the twins go to Hogwarts. The instructions were perfectly clear and then they were off to start themselves in a different world.
Years past since the twin's first year at Hogwarts and everything turned out to be fantastic. Frida had a love for anything sporty and tom-boyish and Dimitri had a love for wits and strategy. Everyone thought, even them both, thought that when the Sorting began, that Frida would be in Gryffindor and Dimitri in Ravenclaw. But it seemed as though the Sorting Hat had a soft spot that day because they were both placed in Gryffindor.
But back to Frida. Frida really does great everyone with deselect and wouldn't head of them saying that she shouldn't. Her parents drilled into all their children's minds that everyone must be treated with respect and that famous line: treat everyone how you would like to be treated. So that's what she's done during her stay at Hogwarts.
She's not exactly the brightest student to have ever attended Hogwarts, but that doesn't mean she's the dumbest either. Occasionally Dimitri helps her and she earns a few good marks on an upcoming test.

Appearance: Lucy isn’t tall, she’s 5’5” in height and quite thin. Her hair is a dirty blonde, and is very wavy and the pieces framing her face are exceptionally frizzy. Lucy usually wears her hair in a simple braid to the side of her head with pieces falling out, or in a low ponytail. Her eyes are a regular blue-gray, and are round and large. Her lips are a pretty shape, and a nice fuchsia color. Her teeth are straight, and sort of large. Lucy has ivory skin and few freckles scattered on her nose. Her face is round, oval shape and she has angular cheekbones and a pointy nose.

Personality: Lucy is a total flirt, and comes off as “hard to get” or tough. With most people she tries too hard, wears too much makeup and too flashy of clothes. But she can be reserved, peaceable. Lucy loves music, and has a very specific taste to mostly 80’s and 90’s rock bands, but she also loves some classical tunes. Lucy often skips class, except for her favorite class, divination. She has a special gift for the art, and spends time in the morning studying stars, confiding in her dream journal. She hides this hobby and gift from her peers, because she’s a little embarrassed.
History: Lucy grew up in the suburbs of Westport, Ireland with her mother and father. Her father was barely ever home, and her mom was signed with a modeling agency in London, so she wasn’t ever home either. Lucy saved up enough money working every day for four years during the summers, winters and spring holidays to buy her own apartment when she came of age. She moved to London by herself soon after her birthday. She’s been living there ever since, and is scarcely missed or visited by either of her parents.

Kael has no problem admitting that perhaps his style is a bit outdated but he likes it. He almost always wears his light brown hair by the nape of his neck and can be seen with unruly strands of bangs dangling. Occasionally, Kael dyes his hair all sorts of colours! Sometimes with a mixture of black and pink, or green and white, or just a solid color. That is to say that his mother only allows him to dye his hair once a month, so he has to find a color that really suits him. Standing at a height of six feet one, is not uncommon in his family. Most of his relatives are over six feet and are much taller than him. Not only did he inherit his family's height, but their gray, green eyes. While some do have a hazel tint, the majority has gray with a charming mixture of green. As for attire, Kael enjoys wearing comfortable pants from Target along with Converse or any other shoe that is loose. Kael is actually a total sweetheart despite the fact that he's smirking whenever he finds something funny or the fact that he has a stern look on his face when he passes you down the hall. It's quite strange since most people assume that base on his appearance, that Kael is a naughty boy, but it's quite the opposite. Kael is more studious than the average student and he follows the rules as if they were a life or death situation.

Being born into a Pureblood, Kael's family isn't your typical snobbish group that cares a wit for pure bloodlines and all that rot. If Kael wanted to marry a Muggle, his parents wouldn't mind at all. That said, Karl's family are a very happy bunch who are always just so. . . joyful and pleasant to be around. Everyone out there, don't be intimidated by their blood but get to know them!
When Kael was a young boy, his family taught him good values to have, and how logic was the very foundation of everything. Some even concluded that there are to be something out there, watching them, because by it seemed unlikely that everything they knew would happen by accident. Having these thoughts skipping about n his brain, Kael came adept to picking out illogical sentences thanks to family gatherings and debates that would be held. When Kael was ten, he knew that he only had one more year before his letter would shortly arrive. During that year, his father had taken it upon himself to teach his son the art of Legilimency. Kael's mother was against the whole thing in fear of her son's safety. For if word were to get out that the Longthorns had another mind searcher, Kael would be out in the spotlight and there would be no escape from the Ministry. So ever since Kael was ten, Mister Longthorn taught his son everything he knew about the art of mind reading and searching through memories. Nonetheless, even at the age of seventeen Kael hasn't quite got it sorted out yet, but his father has assured him this is because he hasn't had forty plus years to practice. And his father made sure to instruct his son to never use it unless absolutely necessary.
During Karl's first year, he was nervous as heck. Everything his parents taught him, went out the window and he became scared with sharing his carefree thoughts. In his second year, Kael slooooowly got the hang of things and even made a friend, Sader Stars. It was Sader who brought Kael out of his shell, despite Kael wanting to keep shutting everyone out. Ever since, the two have become good friends. Kael has no idea what he would've done without his friend. The following years after, Kael has gotten into the groove of things and is always voicing his opinions wherever he goes. Despite being the unpopular voice in politics and other matters.
As far as other relationships go, Kael has never been 'in Love.' Sure, he's watched a few movies that kind of describe what it is, but they can't seem to give him a good on what love is. So currently, Kael is quite frustrated with it. So he did have a few crushes here and there, but nothing progressed further than that.
