I'm aware I shouldn't nilly-willy delete books from a list. But what if I am of the opinion that they do not belong on this list, and probably were spammed onto it? Who should I ask, in a concrete manner, to give their okay to the deletions?

Sometimes people ask in the comments of the list for a book to be deleted. If it's clearly out of the scope of the list, a librarian can delete it, if they see it in the comments. You can also link to the list here and a librarian can look at it for you. If there's doubt about whether a deletion is legitimate, several librarians can chime in.
