Eleanor's eyes were hazy as a stream of sunlight came in through the light drapes against her room's window. The first thing she saw was the crystal colored water brushing up agains the sand. It might have been a peaceful morning, but as she sat up and looked around, she knew this day was nothing but horrible. She'd be going on the water with August as part of their planned activity. Staring at the light blue colored wall with a painting of a palm tree, she let out a small sigh. Her hair was never right in the morning and spread all over the place. Half of her wanted to roll back into bed and hide under the covers. Maybe she could pretend to be sick? Her nose scrunched at the idea because it wouldn't help with the long term plan. That was more important to her. Her feet wiggled under the covers until she feet the carpeted floor beneath them. The smell of coffee suddenly entered her nose. She was never a fan of drinking the beverage, but the smell was always so wonderful. So caught up in her moment of bliss she followed the scent, half awake. Her toes curled and she opened the door connecting her bedroom and the living room that was opened to the kitchen. The thought of August being the one to make the coffee had never occurred to her since coffee was always made for her for the very smell. She didn't even drink it. Her sleepwear inquired silk fabric shorts and a strapped shirt. Her eyes blinked themselves more awake and that's when she saw him. He was laying there so, so casually while she had just woken up out of bed. A soft flush entered cheeks and her hands ran almost desperately through her hair. "Yo-You shouldn't be here," she almost stammered.
Eleanor had let her words slip through her mouth before she could make a more comprehendible statement. All she cared about was him to be out of her sight. Well, more so for him to not see her first thing in the morning. She took pride in her looks and anything less than perfect was thrown out the window. It wasn't entirely what she thought on her own. Her pride in looks were mostly brought on by her mother. Her mother would nitpick every piece of clothing, accesserie, and make-up on Eleanor like she was a vintage barbie doll that was meant to stay in mint condition. You could say her mother cared enough to make sure Eleanor was looking well rounded, but became too much and now little imperfections on the girl bothered her to know end, let alone having someone see her. Her nose scrunched lightly at him and she gestured to the room lightly. "Well, I mean, I don't want you around while I'm, er just never mind. Do what you want," she ended up muttering, ready to turn back for her room to look more decent. "I don't drink coffee," she told him as matter-o-factly. Her feet glided against the cool tiled kitchen floor though as she looked over the coffee maker. The delightful smell came back and she had to fight a smile. Coffee meant comfort and home. "I just, I really like the smell," she murmured and glanced over to him. A small smile broke through, but her arms were crossed over her chest almost uncomfortably or rather, awkwardly. "But thank you," she told him.
((fdsfjdklsjf NOO. That's not whyyyyyy D: I would never fjdksaflj. My family came in and we've been uber busy. I love this rp <3 ))
(I hope you don't mind a bit of skipping around :/ )Eleanor let her body fall back against the counter opposite of the coffee maker. Her arms were still crossed over her chest and her feet shifted. Her eyes flickered towards him as he stood up to head towards the coffee for a refill. She didn't understand the whole coffee thing. Sure, there was caffeine and it smelt great, but was it really worth it when you compared it to the taste? She had a bigger sweet tooth than most would imagine and anything remotely bitter repulsed her. It just tasted like dirt and unhappiness. Her head nodded in acknowledgement as he got his another cup of coffee. "I'm not sure how you can drink that stuff," she muttered before looking over to their...schedule. Fantastic.
"Oh joy," she replied sarcastically and stepped over to the table to look over the schedule. Today they'd be out on the water and that just sounded horrible. Maybe they wouldn't have to act though because they would have a private boat? "This is the worst. I don't want to do any of this," she complained mostly to herself but she was sure he could hear her. "Well," she sighed softly then continued," at least we can keep up our plan. Two weeks of suffering shouldn't be that bad." A few more moments of staring over the schedule, she set it back down and shuffled over to her bedroom. "I'm taking a shower. Do not open up this door," she told him and shut the door behind her.

After her shower, she stepped out and wrapped the towel around her dampened body. The steam came out of the bathroom as she stepped out into the bedroom. There was nothing like cool air after being in a humid room. Her eyes scanned the room carefully until she found her luggage and she pulled out a swim suit the help had packed for her by forced. She rolled her eyes at the thought and looked over the small red clothing. Reluctantly, she slipped it on and pulled out a sundress. A small sigh left her and she looked into the long mirror. That's when she felt it. A small daddy long leg spider crawled over her foot and a loud bloody curdling scream escaped her throat.
Eleanor absolutely hated bugs and they had never liked her either. When she was a little girl, her father took her hiking through a small mountain. She'd been so excited to spend time with him because that was when things were well between them. Anyways, when she went to hop over a small gap, she fell down into it. There were nothing but piles of ants living down there. They ha covered her entire body which left red marks all over her. Sure, she got out, but she never looked at the creepy crawly bugs the same. Avoiding them at all costs was her mission. Her feet jumped up to get away as the spider crawled around the floor. Goosebumps spread onto her arms and legs before she heard her name being called out. Her teeth clenched before she let out squeaks of disgust and fear. "G-Get in here!" She squeaked and found herself jumping onto the bed. Her feet wiggled on the sheets as her eyes kept on the bug in the corner now. "August!" She yelled and her moved back with her feet on the bed.
Eleanor had her hands brought up to her chest as she waited in anticipation for him to get in and get that thing out of her sight. Honestly, it could have been any bug to freak her out. They were all the same and would all crawl over her, given the chance. At least that's how she saw it. Her eyes never left the thing until August came in and she pointed directly to the creepy crawly. "Th-There!" She gasped and shivered in disgust and plain fear. Her eyes squeezed shut until she heard laughter let loose from his lips. Her eyes blinked up and she glared at him. "It's not funny and yes!" She answered with pushed together eyebrows. Her eyes adverted back to the bug on the wall now until, in the corner of her eyes, she saw him leave the room. "W-Wait! Whe-Where are you going?!" She snapped as she frantically looked in the corner and the door. Her hands were shaky and she was honestly freaked out until he came back with his things to get the bug. She had expected him to kill it, but she paused and her hands dropped to her sides as he kept the thing alive and headed out of the door. Immediately, she stepped down to run out to make sure he wasn't hiding it somewhere. Then, she saw him let it out of the balcony. "Wh-Why didn't you kill it?" She asked in a confused tone. "That thing was on my feet!"
Eleanor stared at him as he explained that it was just being a spider. It wasn't so much she wanted it dead. In her experience, if she screamed over a bug, someone killed it for her. When in all honesty, she just wanted it as far away from her as possible. She wanted the bug to be unable to come back and find her as paranoid as that sounded. Her eyes flickered to him. "I-I guess," she muttered lightly and she glanced back over at the balcony. The spider had no way of crawling in? She could tell the hotel they had spiders in their hotel suite. It just didn't feel like anything worth her time though. As he gave her space to walk to the balcony, her brows pushed together again. He was mocking her. He completely making fun of how much she freaked out. A glare was sent his way, but there was slim part of fear in her barely noticeable quivering lips. "I wasn't planning on it," she replied and a small flush of embarrassment floated into her cheeks. Was it really that silly for her to be fearful? "But you can wipe that smirk off your face because that was serious," she tried to defend herself. "I hate bugs."
(That's fine by me c: maybe have them on the boat? O.e I dunno or you can start it however you like! )
(Works perfectly my dear! Cx not to worry! )Eleanor felt the breeze through her dirty blonde hair that fell a her collarbone. She had been a big fan of the sea since forever ago. There was never anything she saw that was bad about it. The sea didn't hurt her at all. In fact, it was filled with memories of her father when they actually spent time together. Her mother had never been a fan though. She got too easily sea sick so it was always just Eleanor and her father. A soft smile played on her lips as her fingers wrapped around the bar at the edge of the boat. It was a decently sized one. They had their own driver down below while her and August were on deck. Eventually, they had made it a good distance away from the shore and the other resort people to a point that you could hardly see the island. "Isn't this great?!" She exclaimed with a happy chime to her tone. After the morning catastrophe, this was exactly what she needed.
Her bare feet slipped down from the small lift on the edge before she turned around to see August sitting there. Jus sitting there. It was like he didn't want to be out in the sea. So far, he didn't looked too scared of it, but she could have put two and two together. A small twirl sprung out of her as her feet moved and her sundress moved with her. "So, are you going to jump in?" She asked out of pure curiosity. Her hand came above her forward to keep the sun out of her eyes as she looked to him for a response.
Eleanor watched August as he sat there. He definitely wasn't the cheerful type from what she had observed so far. And well, the sun and the sea did nothing but cheer her up. Her nose scrunched as she placed her hands over her hips. It stopped part of her sundress from flowing in the sea breeze. Maybe it still wasn't the best situation for him, but right now she was trying to make the best of it. Weird right? She was just complaining for the past two weeks about all of this. Except now, she was tired of it and plus, she had a plan to get him out. So why not enjoy themselves before they have to face hell from their parents? "You know, the sun is out and the sea is around us and you're just sitting there," she pointed out as her eyes looked over the sea. Sitting around was never something she liked. She wanted to be on the move, constantly. Pressing her lips together, she stepped over to him a bit closer. "I'm giving you a choice," she started as if she had some kind of control. "You either swim with me or...we can always do some more dents in our plans where the captain can see us. What will it be?" She asked. Second choice was mostly a bluff. In all honesty, she'd rather swim after the uncomfortableness she experienced last night. But she also knew he'd rather do anything else too.
Eleanor's face brightened and her smile became victorious the second he made his choice. There was always a warm feeling she got whenever she was able to get what she wanted. She hardly ever got a no and this trip wasn't going to change that for her. Yeah, no one ever really just said, no to her. She always had something to back her up to keep the other person from saying it. Sometimes it felt too easy. Sometimes she wanted the battle more than anything. It was weird. Shaking away the thoughts that were starting to head the other direction away from from her good mood, she kept up the bright smile and stepped back."Hm, I'm not sure whether to be insulted that you're so objected to my plan, but you know, I think I'll live," she commented before stepping over to the small opening by the edge of the railing. The water was calm ,clear and crisp. It was wonderful for swimming. Pressing her lips together, he eyes looked over to see August already ready while she was still in her sun dress. She'd been regretting taking it off, but there was no way she was going to miss out on the sea. Her eyes rolled when he gestured for her to go first. "Have I ever told you that your sarcasm is so inviting?" she pointed out in her own sarcastic question. Then her fingers slid down to grasp the bottom of her dress and she pulled the clothing over her head until her arm extended to throw it over by one of the chairs. Her eyes scanned the water for a few moments before she muttered, "Okay," under her breath. Seconds later she jumped from the the edge of the boat and into the cool water. There was silence as her head kept under water until her head popped up to the surface and she inhaled air into her lungs. "Your turn," she grinned and turned up to look at him.
Eleanor let the water glide through her toes as she swam around, waiting for him to make a move into the water. She never truly understood any fear of the ocean. It had always been rather beautiful and refreshing to her. A grin kept on her lips as she looked up though as if she was challenging him to do it. After all, it would kind of be a bore if she was swimming around alone when clearly someone could do it with her. But then, then he was up and splashing his own feet into the water and then the rest of his body. A small victorious smile hit her lips again and she back away for him to resurface the air. Of course, she didn't appreciate his sarcastic tone, but she nodded anyways. "Very," she put it simply and glided through the water around him in a circle. Her eyes closed to focus on the sun that was starting to beat down on them. She was a pale skinned girl, but that didn't mean she didn't enjoy the occasional vitamin D that the sun gifted to her. "You know, I can only give you so many alternatives before we have to get going with the plan," she suddenly muttered a couple of minutes later. It wasn't just a reminder for him, but it was a reminder for her. She would have to do the plan eventually because she was very certain it would work, but it could wait. They had two weeks after all. Pushing the topic aside, she swam over to float past him. "So, August, tell me," she began in a very mock high class voice that almost had her laughing, "What do you do for fun? I mean, you can't constantly be going along with your family." The last part was a bit serious because she did want to know. Did August never set aside things for himself?
(UGH. I'm so so so sorry!!! D: I've been a horrible person with my roleplays and just went all uninspired and lazy >.< fhdskljfds )

Would it be okay if you started?
