I'd be an elf living in Mirkwood at the time when King Thingol is ruling and the dwarves and the hobbit come through. Elves are beautiful, young and merry most of the time.(except for elrond) Who wouldn't want that!

Gothmog was on middle earth, at least for the storming of Gondolin.
Definitely a hobbit. Can't imagine a place more beautiful than Shire. And who can resist good food (with two breakfasts, elevenses, and so on), great ale, lots of friends, parties and an uncomplicated existence! And when I grow old, I can sit by a fireside and tell tales to the young hobbits like Bilbo Baggins did. Barring that, I wouldn't mind being Gwaihir, the windlord, Lord of the majestic eagles, living high up in the mountains, saving the good guys just when needed. Keen eyesight, strong wings, swift flight...ah, heaven!
Elf, for sure. They're much more dedicated to knowledge and art than to battle and other worldly things.
I think I would be a hobbit. I've got the short part down and a long life of friends, gardening, and lots of food doesn't sound too terrible. :)

Wizard!! Then I could travel all over Middle Earth and spend times with all of the races and creatures. And I could do MAGIC and make awesome fireworks.
i say elf or wizard. wizard so i can travel all over and do cool spells and have adventures and live a long time and see all sorts of stuff.
elf because they live really long and their weapons and armor are the best and id love to battle. but i wouldnt be a singing elf.

heck yeah, i want to look like a homeless man with a beard from never having combed my hair in my life. won't pay rent or hold a job either....but just chill with people until they throw me out and then visit the next house or village.

I saw a tattoo on a teen one day that was her friends' names in Elvish. It was so beautiful I thought if I ever got a tat, it would be my grandkids' names in elvish, even if they thought I was weird!

I would love to be a Dragon, if possible. I wouldn't be one of the mean dragons who would pillage towns and kill people for gold. I would just want to fly around and see all of Middle Earth. As a Dragon I could live for a long time so I could see everything there is to see.If not a Dragon than an Elf. Elves have so much beauty and grace. not to mention they can probably outlive a dragon or anything else in Middle Earth. Sense disease and aging has no effect, unless you fall in love with a mortal, there are very few ways to die. I would just love to live in Rivendale or even Mirkwood, the houses in the trees just astound me.
