How was Victoria Thompson? I just stumbled onto this at an outdoor charity, for 50c! It must be of some quality because there are an abundance of sequels ~ about 15.

It took me a minute to get into but once I got into it it was hard to put down. It had an ending I didn't expect and would probably read more of the series.
