Don (ddonofrio3) | 86 comments This is book # 16 in the Stone Barrington series.

I've only read book # 1 but this is hot off the presses.

Hi Don,
Below is a cover-link to the book, for reference purposes.
Loitering with Intent by Stuart Woods Loitering with Intent by Stuart Woods
Stuart Woods has quite an interesting profile description at Goodreads.

BTW, while searching for this book title, I found other books with the same title by different authors. It seems so strange that several authors would choose such an unusual title. Below are links to the books:
Loitering with Intent
Loitering With Intent The Child
Loitering With Intent The Apprentice
Loitering With Intent My Adventures in Catholic Evangelization

SuzAnne | 1 comments Am I wrong or is this thread commenting on the wrong book. This book is Muriel Spark's 1981 "Loitering with Intent"

Joy H. (joyofglensfalls) | 16697 comments Hi Siobhan - There seems to be more than one book entitled "Loitering with Intent".
In message #2, I pointed that out by posting the different links to those books.

See the list of books below:
1. Loitering with Intent by Stuart Woods
2. Loitering with Intent by Muriel Spark
3. Loitering With Intent: The Child by Peter O'Toole
4. Loitering With Intent: The Apprentice by Peter O'Toole
5. Loitering With Intent : My Adventures in Catholic Evangelization by Vincent Cacace

(See the links in message #2 in this thread.)

This topic is about book #1 on the list above.

Perhaps the expression, "loitering with intent" is an idiom, or a euphemism, or a legal term. Does anyone know?

Don (ddonofrio3) | 86 comments Stuart Woods is a good author but this one wasn't as good as the first in the series. It was kind of like he was going through the motions here.

It must be hard to live up to one's past successes.
