Joining as an author

As a new author can anyone help me with adding my own books? I've tried working through the Help section but haven't had much luck!

You can add a new book on the page above. Cover images can be uploaded from your PC. Once you've added the book, you can then click on the author link in the book, which will take you to the author profile page. You can then claim the page from the link on the profile.

Note: There seems to be at least one Ian Williams already listed as an author on GR. If that's not you, you'll want to create your author profile as Ian^^Williams where ^ indicates a space. You do this by entering the author name on the 'add book' page as Ian^^Williams. Unless you have a middle initial to differentiate yourself, but the book would have to be published that way.

Alternately, you can post the book information as a request in the librarian group, and a librarian will add the book for you. In this case, the cover image should be uploaded to your user profile, clearly identified.

That is my book, don't know how that got there! The others aren't. The advice about spaces when someone has same name was really useful.
