Why I wrote "From the Recipe Box"

I wrote this book to help save the recipes of my mother and the women who came before her. The recipes travel in time from the 1800's to today. Many started as recipes for farm families cooked on wood stoves that have been reworked and are ready for the 21st century cook of today to enjoy with their family.
