((Sounds good. So, logistics-- 1st period Margot has Control of Powers. I was thinking that this could perhaps be 3rd period, so that there is a kind of bumper in between? Lunch could basically be 4th hour (right after this class), or 5th hour. If we say that they both have 5th hour lunch, that might give us some more flexibility-- neither of us is really roleplaying a 4th hour, its just kind of assumed, so they could basically walk all the way to lunch together if we want (seamlessly for us, obviously in roleplay-world they would split up before lunch), or just leave separately and converge in the lunch room, or not see each other until the next day, and any way we do it on any given day would not be weird or belabor the movement of the story. But 4th hour may seem more natural. What do you think? And yes, I realize that of course I am probably over thinking this.))

((Okay. Good, good, good... Not to belabor the point, but are we then in agreement that History class, for them, is 3rd hour and lunch 4th?))
((Cool. I just had to figure that out before I could get a clear picture of Margot's day in my mind. Shall the roleplaying commence? ))
Margot closed her book and began to stand up, the majority of the students flooding out of the history-classroom-cabin-in-the-woods around her. She waited until they stopped streaming by the side of her desk to fully get out of it (logistically it would have been impossible to do otherwise), then gently tucking a strand of sleek black hair behind her ear, she began to gather up her books in her arms.((Blaaaaaaaaaaa-- sorry. Short post. Week-long AWOL.... Gah, I'm so stinkin' tired and so stinkin' busy. I know you said to continue in the hallways, but I just couldn't bring myself to break the continuity, especially since they're going to be walking all the way back together. Hopefully that all made sense? My little grey cells... are... I don't even know. I think they're hibernating.))
((I was about to say that the post had followed the rules. Then I realized I was wrong. Apologies.))

((Right! Okay! Joking you were. Proud, Shuhan is. Developed humour, Maniac has. Very strange, Shuhan talks right now. Yoda. Okay. Weird. Okay. I'm feeling awkward.
Maniac, we're on good terms again, aren't we?))

((At least two full sentences. At least four lines. As far as I can see, I haven't run afoul here.))
((Look, are you trying to start an argument here? There's a post later saying that posts have to be four lines now. And where I am, lines mean sentences too.
Plus, you think you know the rules better than moderators? Would I lie to you about rules?
Just, four sentences, okay?))

((I've had humor this whole time. It's just that my jokes generally aren't what others would call... jokes. And yes, Shuhan, our often strained terms are doing very well.
Oh, and Miriam;

Mod
NEW RULE
Each post must be at least four lines.

((Maniac, my post is 4+ lines. Shuhan, rules are not poems. What it says really is what it says. You have to go by the actual denotations of the words, not vague associations someone may have. Lines ≠ sentences, especially if there has already been made a distinction between the two in the rules themselves.))
((Oh and now you're a mod and you made that rule. Me and Tea did NOT talk about it at all! Oh yes, and the post just happened to have Tea's username above it.
Can't you stop trying to be smart and just say you'll obey the four sentences rule in the future? We don't need excuses, explanations, trying to be smart, long contradicts, trying to catch us out etc.
Maniac: You always come back to my irresistible cuddles ;D ))

((Actually, I just think it's a little pointless and offensive to harass someone about lines, even to simply point it out to someone, who obviously does not have a problem with line/sentence count. I don't need to make excuses. I have a history of posting thick/multi-paragraph roleplay responses, and frankly, if one post happens to be at (or below) the minimum, I wouldn't consider it a trend that needs fixing. I don't see what the point in harassing me here in the first place is, because if you would look at what I've already done, it's fairly obvious that, without your intervention, my next post (and it's successors) would far-more-than-likely be big, fat, juicy, multi-paragraph responses. It was just one time out of a million and I just didn't want to keep anyone waiting any longer, which seriously is not an excuse, and does not need one. Because no matter what your intention in the rule was, if you write something else, you cannot expect us to understand what you meant to say, and we cannot be held to it, either. That's just basic communication. If the mods meant to say 'four sentences', then the mods made a mistake, and they should fix it as soon as possible, because as it stands the rules dictate that a post should be two sentences and four lines long. I know it irks you when I contest your say, but it irks me when I'm just over here trying to craft literary building blocks of story line, and someone decides that my innocent and compliant pursuit needs to be pecked at. I feel like there must be infinite better things you can do with your time than coach me on post length. If I had an issue with length, fine. But as it is, because it is seriously not my norm, the intervention bears an innately hostile, degrading note, which for better or worse can hardly be overlooked. It is not fair to group me in with people whose regular inadequacies lower the standards of the group-- people who might actually warrant your coaching.))
((Oh my God, it was a reminder for future references. You sounded like you were going to keep doing 2 lines or something. What you're doing is basically making an excuse for your rule breaking post. Just do four lines in the future. I don't need a ton of crap about everything. ))
