Has anyone had their new Amazon Coins NOT show up on their kindle Fire?

I just spent 33 minutes on the phone w/ Kindle Support. My 500 Amazon Coins are not showing up on my Kindle Fire HD. Tonight while volunteering at the library as a computer coach, my 83 year old student showed me where to find them. When I got home I went to the same place and there was nothing AmazonCoin related. I called Kindle Customer Service and went round and round re. restarting and checking for updates and all. The call ended with him saying they are slowly rolling out a new update and maybe after I get my update it'll work. I see nothing on the web about new update. Anyway, all I'm wondering is, is anyone else here having this problem too?
