It could be Captive in the Dark... Excellent series, but I don't remember if she was ever in a chair.
It wasn't Consequences or Captive in the Dark. Thank you for your answers though. Both are on my to read list.

Girl is sitting in a chair in a room. She is terrified and pissed off because she has been kidnapped. The said kidnapper asks her what her problem is. she says, "duh, you kidnapped me." He says, "No, I did not, I saved you."
Clearly it's written better than that, I'm an expert reader not writer. :)
Any ideas??????
