So many SciFi titles recycle old ideas. Part of that is because of the point of departure of the various authors. "Search for the Alien God" is the chronicle of a 20 year long "dream" that lived from night to night - on it's own. It is based upon a very different premise written in a very different way, but by the end - you realize the Characters are not the persons in the book. Rather, the characters are the 5 elements of Eschatology - Life, Death, Heaven, Hell and Judgement. Most SciFi authors relegate 3 of these 5 things to fantasy. But Search for the Alien God takes them on directly; using the best sources of Science, Theology, and what people actually DO believe (somewhere verifiable). Depending on your own point of departure, you may find this book to be utterly different than you see on standard SciFi listings. It took years to assemble, so I hope you enjoy it.
