message 301: by Bree (new)

Bree "Ready," Ginny said. She took hold of Shetan's hand, this felt utterly normal and very soothing to her now. She lead him out of her house then she lead him down a trail already made that lead the cemetery where her mother was buried.

message 302: by [deleted user] (new)

Shetan had no idea where they were going, and that excited him. He loved surprises. He held her hand as she held his and walked with her down the trail.

message 303: by Bree (new)

Bree Along the trail, Ginny stopped by a bush of wild flowers. She knew that they were harmless because she used the trail every time to go see her mother's grave. She knelt down in front of the bush and picked several of the flowers making a small bouquet then she undid a white ribbon around her wrist and tied it around the flowers. Ginny's gaze turned back to Shetan.

message 304: by [deleted user] (new)

Shetan cocked his head a little as she picked the flowers and tied them with a ribbon. He wondered whether she was going to give them to him, or....wait, maybe they were going to go to a cemetery....to Ginny's mother's grave. That had to be it. Shetan easily figured that out.

message 305: by Bree (new)

Bree She took hold of Shetan's hand again and continued down the trail. "There's something that seems to keep coming my mind now. It's about you, actually. It isn't bad or anything. I just wonder..what it would be like if my mother had met you," she said then she smiled softly as she spoke with her eyes looking straight ahead. "I always picture my mom thinking that you're one of her patients seeing as you're also part animal, and she'll be hectic on trying to fix you or something," she giggled. "If she found out that we had kissed though.." Ginny shook her head and laughed now. "That'd be trouble.."

message 306: by [deleted user] (new)

"Well, seeing as I am a ghost and an evil spirit and a demon, I can communicate with the dead and be among the dead. I think it would be interesting if I was to meet her...and talk to her." Shetan was thoughtful. He smiled at the last part she said. "I bet. Not everyone considers it normal for a human to kiss a creature, and vice-versa."

message 307: by Bree (new)

Bree Ginny smiled at him then she lifted up his hand that she was holding and kissed it gently. "Most people don't get to meet an incredibly nice and amazing creature like yourself though," she said with a smile then they finally arrived at the cemetery. Several grave stones lined the fenced in grass field and each stone had gifts left for loved one. Some gifts were still fairly new, while others, such as dying flowers, were wilting away. She lead him past all the gravestones and with each step, she felt as of she was being taken back in time to her visit here. That day when her mother's casket was first placed in the ground.

message 308: by [deleted user] (new)

Shetan smiled a touched smile as she kissed his hand. "And I never thought I'd meet a human as sweet and fun as you," he murmured. His attention quickly shifted to the cemetery they were walking into, looking at the graves they walked past. He wondered which one was Ginny's mother's. He was about to find out.

message 309: by Bree (new)

Bree Ginny finally arrived at her mother's grave. That familiar inscription greeted as it did every year. "Sylvia E. Wong-Beloved Mother and Friend-Gone Too Soon". She knelt down and set down the fresh bouquet of flowers on the grass just below the grave stone. She sat there for a while on her knees and let out a shaky sigh. Her hands bunched up a handful of the dress she was wearing and she felt tears form at her eyes. She let the tears roll down her cheeks because she remembered Sylvia believed that crying made a person beautiful, and human. Trying to deny it wasn't exactly the best to do, and it hurt even more to fight it.

message 310: by [deleted user] (new)

Shetan read the words on the grave, then he slowly moved to sit next to her. And that was when he noticed she was crying. Sympathy showed in his eyes as he hugged her from the side, putting his arms around her and giving her a comforting, loving embrace.

message 311: by Bree (new)

Bree Ginny took a shaky breath then she sought comfort in Shetan's arms as she cried. She shook with with every breath she took, then she hiccuped when she tried to calm down but failed. "She didn't have to leave me, Shetan... She could've stayed with me... She promised me. She promised that she wouldn't leave me," her voice was a soft whisper between her crying as her tears transferred onto Shetan now. Now, more than ever, she seemed to lose her shield of protection, and she was at her most vulnerable.

message 312: by [deleted user] (new)

Shetan stroked her softly in his arms. "Your mother is in a better place now, where she won't have to suffer through another heart attack anymore or have to go through any things that are imperfect in this world." He attempted to comfort her with these words. "I don't think she's really left you. Her body may have, but not her spirit. She'll still exist in your memories and in your heart. And I won't leave you."

message 313: by Bree (new)

Bree Ginny sniffled then after several moments she calmed down and wiped away the tears at her eyes. She lifted up her gaze to Shetan "You've always been there for me ever since we met," she gave a small smile. Her hands lifted up and cupped both sides of his face gently "I don't know what I'd do without you, Shetan." She leaned her head up and kissed his lips softly then she lifted her hand up through his hair and slid out the flower that she placed behind his ear. "She would've approved of you, I know that for a fact now," she said then she laid that last flower down next to the bouquet.

message 314: by [deleted user] (new)

Gentleness and love glowed in Shetan's eyes as he smiled at her kindly and softly. He kissed her back when she kissed him. Then he looked down and noticed a couple small wildflowers growing nearby. He reached down and picked them, placing them on the grave.

message 315: by Bree (new)

Bree Ginny stood up now and brushed off some of the leaves that had come onto her lap. She smiled when she saw him leave flowers at Syliva's grave stone as well. "I knew you liked flowers," she giggled softly "Maybe when we get back, I could make you a headband out of some flowers." Then she looked back down at her mother's grave. "I've never come here before with anyone else. You're the first person that I've done this with," she said then she took his hand. "You're special to me. You really are."

message 316: by Bree (new)

Bree (( I'm going to bed now. We shall continue this in the morning ))

message 317: by [deleted user] (new)

Shetan stood up after setting the flower down, towering over Ginny once again. He smiled as his hand wrapped around hers. "Well, I am touched by that. I find you special to me as well."

message 318: by Bree (new)

Bree Ginny smiled at him "I'm glad we feel the same way about each other." The wind began to pick up for a moment then her hands lifted up and moved some of her hair aside from her face. Her gaze turned up to the sky as clouds began to roll in. "Looks like it might rain," she said then she looked back at Shetan. "Rain doesn't hurt you, does it?"

message 319: by [deleted user] (new)

Shetan smiled and shook his head. "Rain is the only kind of water that can't harm a creature of fire like me. I don't have to worry about that." The wind blew his black hair around. "And I love rain on top of it."

message 320: by Bree (new)

Bree "I do too," Ginny smiled then she looked up to the sky again as the wind picked up some more. "We should head back before it rains. It feels like a storm is coming," then she realized how crazy she just sounded. "It's just instinct I guess," she said with a shrug.

message 321: by [deleted user] (new)

Shetan started walking back out of the cemetery with her. "And a very good instinct. I know that it's going to rain, due to my special, supernatural senses." He glanced up at the sky for a brief moment, seeing the clouds starting to turn blacker.

message 322: by Bree (new)

Bree "Can your supernatural senses tell us whether or not we'll make it back before it starts to rain?" Ginny asked with a giggled then she moved closer to Shetan as it became colder outside. Leaves began to blow across the green grass and past the large trees.

message 323: by [deleted user] (new)

Shetan let out a laugh. "No, not that well." His arm slowly moved to go around her as she moved closer, continuing to walk. They were now out of the cemetery and into the woods, going back to Ginny's house.

message 324: by Bree (new)

Bree (( what happens if Shetan gets a cold from getting caught out in the rain? ))

Ginny suddenly felt water droplets come down in only a handful at first onto her, then in the thousands and millions quickly spreading out to the entire land below. She laughed when it suddenly came down then she pulled Shetan along all the while occasionally stepping in a puddle forming. Then they finally arrived at her house and she ushered him inside and closed the door. She turned on the lights then looked up at Shetan who was very wet. She laughed.

message 325: by [deleted user] (new)

((He would have reactions in a rather different way than a human would. He would just get a headache. Would you like to have Shetan get a cold?))

Shetan enjoyed the feel of the rain. Soon they were inside. He smirked down at her. "I'm soaked, aren't I?"

message 326: by Bree (new)

Bree (( I was going to say that it'd fun for one of them to get sick because of the rain, and I was curious about Shetan, so if it's alright with you, yes please. ))

Ginny laughed and nodded her head. "Pretty much," she reached up and squeezed some of the water from her hair then she smiled at him. "There's one good thing about it raining outside", she said then she went over to the fireplace and pressed a turned a wheel beside it so the chimney would close the top so rain wouldn't put out the fire. She went into the kitchen and brought out a box of matches then went back to the fire place, and used some of the wood already in place to start a small fire there. It ignited almost immediately, and it warmed Ginny's face.

message 327: by [deleted user] (new)

((Sure!))

But a headache began to come on as Shetan watched her. He winced as the headache gradually got more painful and uncomfortable, and he rubbed his forehead. "And then there's one bad thing," he realized. "I've suddenly got this splitting headache. That's never happened before when I've been out in the rain."

message 328: by Bree (new)

Bree "Huh," Ginny said as she stood by the fire place then peeled off her wet jacket and laid it down to dry as well as kicking off her wet shoes. She walked over to him then looked up at him by reaching up on her tip toes and feeling his forehead. "Maybe you're sick.."

message 329: by [deleted user] (last edited Jun 17, 2013 09:17PM) (new)

His forehead was unusually cold. As fire, he was supposed to be hot or warm, but this time, he was deathly cold. "I must be," Shetan murmured, closing his eyes as he felt her touch on his forehead.

message 330: by Bree (new)

Bree "Here," Ginny said as she lead him to the fireplace and sat him down in front of it. She moved her clothes off the side of the fire pit so they could still dry, but she gave plenty of room for Shetan to sit down. She went into the hall way and grabbed a towel then came back and stood behind Shetan as she dried off his hair with it. "If you're sick, you have to dry off as soon as possible and warm up," she said then realized that even when Shetan was sitting down, she still had to reach slightly to get to his head.

message 331: by [deleted user] (new)

Shetan let out a soft sigh as she dried off his hair, glad that there was a fire blazing in the fireplace. He closed his eyes for the moment. With the headache he had, it hurt to have his eyes open. "Maybe after you're done there, I'll go over to get close to the fire."

message 332: by Bree (new)

Bree "Just be careful about getting too close and getting burned, alright?" Ginny said then she finished drying off his hair and set the towel beside her wet shoes and jacket as well. "Is there anything you need, Shetan?" The nursing side of her took over when she discovered that he was potentially sick.

message 333: by [deleted user] (new)

"For now, I just need fire," Shetan murmured, standing up and walking over to the fire. "And fire won't burn me, since I'm fire myself," he assured her. He got down and slowly crawled right into the fireplace, making sure that he didn't let any fire get out of the fireplace, and curled up, lying down right in the fire. He let out a very relieved sigh. "Ahhhhhh...." he said happily. The fire felt so good.

message 334: by Bree (new)

Bree Ginny's heart immediately sky rocketed in how fast it was besting when Shetan went into to fire pit. She turned pale for a moment then she saw him actually enjoy the flames, which made her sigh in relief, but she still felt uneasy from being given a heart heart attack experience. "You're very scary, you know that?" she said not exactly expecting an answer as her hand lifted up to her head then she stretched out her legs so the fire could warm her cold feet and legs.

message 335: by [deleted user] (new)

Shetan looked up towards her and smirked proudly. "I know. It could have been worse." He stayed in the fire for a while before carefully slipping out, standing. He touched his head. "It's not completely gone, but it's way better."

message 336: by Bree (new)

Bree "That's good to hear," Ginny smiled then she finally gained some of the color back in her face. Then she had an idea, and stood up. "I'll be right back," she said then she went into the kitchen. After several moments, she returned back to him with two hot cups of hot chocolate. "It's homemade, so there's no water in it at all," she smiled to him then she handed him a mug.

message 337: by [deleted user] (new)

Shetan allowed himself to cool off before sitting down on the couch, so that he wouldn't burn the couch or make it too hot. Then he was pleasantly surprised by the hot chocolate and he took it. "Thanks a lot! I love this stuff." He started drinking.

message 338: by Bree (new)

Bree Ginny giggled when he said that he loved hot chocolate. "I love hot chocolate too," she smiled and sat down beside him then she took a small sip because she didn't want to burn her tongue.

message 339: by [deleted user] (new)

Shetan drank the whole thing down slowly before leaning back in the couch so that his head was resting against it.

message 340: by Bree (new)

Bree "Dang," Ginny said then she laughed when he leaned his head back in the couch. "Would you like some more then?" she asked then she reahced down and moved the coffee table closer and lifted his big feet up so they rested on it.

message 341: by [deleted user] (new)

"Sure," Shetan said with a laugh. He closed his eyes restfully for a moment.

message 342: by Bree (new)

Bree "I'll be right back then," Ginny said taking his empt mug into the kitchen then after several moments, she came back and it was filled with hot chocolate and marshmallows. She handed him his cup then she sat back down and looked at the small fire pit. She brought her own drinks to her lips and smiled at the amazing taste.

message 343: by [deleted user] (new)

Shetan enjoyed it a little slower this time. The hot chocolate was removing his headache completely. Unlike humans, he tended to get better a lot quicker when he was feeling ill. Soon he was finished.

message 344: by Bree (new)

Bree Ginny finished her first cup at last then she took Shetan's empty cup and placed it in the sink, then returned back to Shetan's side. The crackle and light of the fire seemed to captivate Ginny as its reflection danced across her eyes, and it's bright light warmed her from afar. She nuzzled closer to Shetan and found him to be just as warm as the fire.

message 345: by [deleted user] (new)

Shetan slipped his large arm around her and purred softly, feeling nice and warm again and content and lazy. He closed his eyes.

message 346: by Bree (new)

Bree Ginny nuzzled up into Shetan and let her mind wander while she watched the flames. She'd always seen people dancing within the flames of any fire she'd seen, and then she closed her eyes and imagined the people in the fire reaching out to her and asking her to join them.

message 347: by [deleted user] (new)

Shetan began to purr softly as he felt her nuzzling into him, keeping his eyes closed and his arm around her. A happy smile spread across his face.

message 348: by Bree (new)

Bree "I didn't know you could purr," Ginny giggled up at him and she kissed his chin. "I guess there's still some things about you that I don't know yet. You're full of mysteries and wonders, Shetan," she said then she moved some of his black hair aside from his face.

message 349: by [deleted user] (new)

Shetan started snickering and chuckling, feeling humorous. "I'm like a lion. I got my scary side, but I can purr like a big cat when I'm happy and content." His eyes opened, and he grinned mischievously down at her.

message 350: by Bree (new)

Bree "Are you as lazy and sleepy as one too?" Ginny teased then her hands lifted up and played with his hair as she braided another strand of it. "You sure can roar like one too."
