"Hello," Shetan smiled, moving over to sit next to her on the couch again. He glanced at her bandaged arm before looking towards her face, sitting back in the couch. "Now you're safe in here with me." This wasn't the first time that Shetan had fights with other creatures. There were moments where he had to drive off wolves and certain other animals that tried to bother him. Usually those moments were when he was eating a dead deer or some other creature that he killed in the woods, and other predators would attempt to steal some of his food. And Shetan would snarl at it and threaten it, even ending up attacking it so that it wouldn't ever dare to disturb him while he was eating. Shetan was quite territorial over his food.

Bree "I trust you. I really do," Ginny said looking over at him then she pulled her feet up onto the couch after she kicked her shoes off. Both her arms wrapped around her legs comfortably as she relaxed into the couch."I didn't know that you were that strong. I suppose I should have guessed that, still, it was something to watch you fight." Now that she thought about it, she had a curiosity inside of her that wanted to know everything about Shetan. She assumed, though, that he wasn't up to telling her everything. Still, she had to at least try. "Well, your strength isn't human, and you don't look human.." she continued on feeling like she was insulting him but she plucked up some courage and kept going "so, what are you?"

message 103: by [deleted user] (last edited Jun 05, 2013 04:20PM) (new)

A slow grin began to spread over Shetan's face as she spoke. Due to his rather twisted side, he tended to take insults as compliments when it came to his appearance and what he was. For example, if someone were to tell him that he was hideous, or fat, or evil, or vicious, or insane, or that he was a monster, Shetan would laugh wickedly and take it all as a compliment. Besides, all the things that they would be calling him were true. All things that were true about him were the things that he was proud of. He was proud of his body and the way he looked and that he was a monster. Pride was visible on his features as he listened to what Ginny said, and he crossed his arms. "Well, thank you," he said with a small smirk. "I am proud of my inhuman strength and monstrous looks." Shetan was also one who was proud to answer questions that had to do with him. "I am a vampire, a werewolf, a shapeshifter, a zombie, a ghost, an evil spirit, a demon, a smoke monster, and a creature made out of fire, or in other words, black lava." Shetan spoke this last part slowly and smoothly and very mysteriously, enjoying answering her question. He knew that she would be shocked and most likely impressed, and he looked forward to seeing her reaction.

Bree Ginny nodded her head when he finished describing what he was all rolled into one. "Alright then," she said with her eyes showing some shock, amazement, confusion, then she felt a head ache come on as she tried to fathom how that was all even possible. Her hand lifted up to her head as she adjusted her sitting position with her legs dangling over the side of the couch, and her elbow using her leg for support. Now she was shaking her head. "I've got the biggest head ache ever right now," she muttered.

message 105: by Bree (new)

Bree (( I've got to go for a bit. I apologize ))

message 106: by [deleted user] (last edited Jun 05, 2013 04:43PM) (new)

((It's okay.))

Shetan smiled as he saw the shock and amazement in her eyes, but his expression quickly changed into a more concerned look as he saw her adjust her position. His hand reached up and touched her forehead gently before he thought about it, like one would do when feeling a person's temperature. "Are you all right?" he murmured. "I didn't think naming all the species I was would have that great of an affect on you. Go ahead and rest," he encouraged softly.

message 107: by Bree (new)

Bree Ginny looked up at him when he placed his hand on her forehead gently. She sighed softly looking up at him when she was about to say that she wasn't needing rest, but she did feel tired. "Alright, I'll rest, but don't let me stay asleep for too long, okay?" She got off the couch then went into the hallway, opened one of her cabinets, pulled out a blanket, and came back to the couch sitting back into it. Ginny wrapped the blanket around herself then looked over at Shetan realizing that he was fairly close still, and truth be told, she liked to have him around. She curled up into a ball and laid her head on the couch pillow. Soon, she dozed off.

message 108: by [deleted user] (new)

"Okay." Shetan watched her get a blanket and get comfortable. Then he flicked on the TV and watched it. He kept the volume low enough and not too loud so that she could sleep. He stayed awake the whole time she was asleep. He flipped through channels, seeing that there didn't seem to be anything on so far that was good. Every once in a while, he would glance over at Ginny to make sure she was still peaceful.

message 109: by Bree (new)

Bree Ginny slept then had an uneasy image in her mind creating a nightmare that made her shiver then the couch pillow supporting her head on the top of the couch slid down and Ginny's head landed on Shetan's lap. She sighed softly in her sleep and continued to rest with her hand lifted up and rested beside her face. The lights from the television flashed an created shadows on her face when the screen occasionally turned black between commercials.

message 110: by [deleted user] (new)

Shetan watched her as her head landed on his lap. He reached up and placed his hand over her shoulder as his gaze shifted back up to the TV screen, watching the commercials that were on right now. Sometimes, he would look down at her as she slept there on his lap, keeping his hand over her shoulder in a rather comforting way.

message 111: by Bree (new)

Bree Ginny was subconsciously aware that she wanted to not sleep for too long, but she was very tired from today. She finally woke up when some of her long brown hair got in her face; a soft groan escaped her lips as she woke up, then she realized her head was on Shetan's lap. Her head slid off his lap as she sat up. She moved her hair away from her face as she blinked her eyes awake. "Thanks for waking me up, Shetan," she smiled actually as she realized how grouchy she sounded, then she giggled.

message 112: by [deleted user] (new)

Shetan shifted his gaze from the TV down at her when he felt her moving and waking up and as she sat up. He smirked. "Yeah, no problem," he teased. "Even though I didn't do anything." His smirk disappeared and was replaced by a more genuine smile. The commercials were still going on TV.

message 113: by Bree (new)

Bree Ginny enjoyed Shetan's smile: it wasn't like his sadistic one at all, and it was contagious since it madd Ginny smile. Ginny turned her direction back to the television. This commercial she had seen several times actually: it was about a super absorbent towel that could soak up an entire cup of water in ten seconds. She shook as she adjusted her sitting position so she faced the television now. "So this is what has become of social media," she thought to herself. "You know, if you get tired tonight, you could always use the extra bedroom I have. I feel bad for making you sleep on this couch," she admitted.

message 114: by [deleted user] (new)

"I'll probably try it out tonight then," Shetan said. "Although there's nothing wrong with this couch." He glanced back at the TV, pleased when the commercials ended and a movie came on. It was "The Hobbit," one of Shetan's favorite movies. Shetan was delighted that it was "The Hobbit." He sat back in the couch and relaxed as he glued his eyes to the movie.

message 115: by Bree (new)

Bree Ginny giggled when she saw the intense and pleased look in Shetan's eyes when the Hobbit came on. "I'm guessing you really like this movie too?" She asked but didn't exactly expect an answer since it seemed the Shetan wasn't a part of this world anymore. Ginny wondered if he was always like this around televisions, or if he just didn't get to use one as often as he wanted to. "He probably does,"she figured, "since he knows what comedy shows are and what are some of the best movies out there right now, he probably has as much access to the social media as I do. Though, he does seem more entertained by it then i typically am. He's just like any other guy in this."

message 116: by [deleted user] (new)

"Yeah." Shetan didn't look at her as he spoke, for he was right there in the same world as the movie, and he kept his eyes fixed on the screen. As time went on and the movie continued, Shetan would sometimes smirk slightly as he would see some orcs, for he liked orcs. They were scary and bad and hideous and monstrous like him.

message 117: by Bree (new)

Bree Ginny sat with Shetan as the movie continued on. She always loved the Hobbits the most, but the orcs did give her the chills: not the good kind exactly either. Ginny would try to talk to Shetan more, but she knew he was in the land of the Hobbits now, so she simply sat and enjoyed.

message 118: by [deleted user] (last edited Jun 06, 2013 12:26PM) (new)

A moment later, Shetan finally took his eyes off the screen when the commercials kicked on. "Any other questions you'd like to ask me?" he wondered, remembering her previous question earlier about what species he was. He knew her mind must be full of questions that had to do with him. After all, how many people were familiar with a creature like him? How many people ran into him often? None, except for the ones he killed and the ones who lived to tell the tale.

message 119: by Bree (new)

Bree "Actually, I do have some more questions. There's quite a few of them, so if it's to be too much, just let me, okay?" Ginny said turning towards Shetan while she sat in a butterfly yoga position. "Where are you from?" This was one of her most simple and basic questions that anyone could ask a person they would meet on the street even. "Before I forget, you can ask me any questions you have for me too. I don't want this to be too uncomfortable for you." "I can't seem to imagine him a really getting uncomfortable though. He seems to enjoy talking with me," she thought to herself.

message 120: by [deleted user] (new)

"Oh, I expect that," Shetan said. That is, I know that. He knew she would be full of the questions. He crossed his arms comfortably over himself, between his chest and stomach. "I am from the Underworld." Not to mention, his name was underworldish. It meant "The Devil."

message 121: by Bree (new)

Bree "But if you're from the Underworld, how are you able to stay in this world?" This question sort of came as a follow up to the previous question not because Ginny had expected the answer he gave, but because she just wanted to know to have some clarity.

message 122: by [deleted user] (last edited Jun 06, 2013 01:30PM) (new)

"The Underworld is where I was born. That's where I came from. I just live here as well. You could say I have two homes, one in this world and one in the Underworld, and I go back and forth between visiting them. I'm one of those demons that can stay in this world just fine. I don't have to worry about something weird happening and me getting transported suddenly against my will."

message 123: by Bree (new)

Bree "I'd hate to have to see you go so soon," Ginny said honestly; she had plenty more questions after this one. "How old are you?" This was a serious but also a question where she expected him say something online the lines of a million years old.

message 124: by [deleted user] (new)

"I'm thousands of years old," Shetan said. "More specifically, I'm 10,000 years old." The commercials were still going, but even if the movie was back on right now, Shetan would not have all of his attention on the screen. She had a lot of questions for him, and he knew that she wanted to talk to him, and he wanted to talk to her.

message 125: by Bree (new)

Bree "Earlier when the wolf attacked both of us, your eyes turned bright red... And you growled. Does that only happen when you get angry or are threatened somehow?" Ginny asked remembering vividly the first sight of the wolf, then looking up at Shetan's predatory and threatening gaze: she could still hear the growl he made when he moved her behind him protectively. Her hand now lifted up and gently rested on the bandage wrapped around her arm by Shetan after the wolf had clawed her. "Shetan saved my life..." she realized and accepted. However, Ginny didn't remember the wolf attacking her though: her eyes were focused on Shetan up until the wolf was killed then its body was right at her feet.

message 126: by [deleted user] (new)

"No. I always growl, for any reason or no reason. I'm animalistic. My eyes are always red, but they do turn into an even brighter, more fiery red when I am angry, delighted, mysterious, showing off, or for no reason." Shetan could remember how angry he was when the wolf threatened them and when he got even more angry as the wolf clawed her. He had felt himself become much warmer, due to him being fire, and his teeth were bared as he killed the wolf, his face like a savage, angry beast.

message 127: by Bree (new)

Bree "You mentioned earlier that you're a vampire, werewolf, and zombie: does that mean that your diet consists of the foods those creatures by themselves would typically have?" Ginny asked already imagining Shetan feed from someone's neck like a vampire, kill a deer for food, then tear open the skull of a person for their pink fleshy brain. It was difficult for Ginny to ask these questions and not let her fears cloud her mind. She wanted to be open and accepting to whatever answers he would give her. "After all, he must he have some been through enough stereotypes," she thought to herself.

message 128: by [deleted user] (new)

"Yes. I have the behavior of them all, vampires, werewolves, and zombies alike. But as you know, my diet doesn't consist of those foods only, seeing as I ate pancakes the other day, which proves I eat any and all people food."

message 129: by Bree (new)

Bree "Oh, right, I forgot about that," Ginny said turning pink from embarrassment as her hands played with some strands some of her long brown hair. "How could I have forgotten about that?" she thought to herself. "How strong are you? Can you like lift up a truck and hold it in your shoulder?" She put the image in her mind of Superman lifting up a car with both his hands then Shetan lifting up an entire cargo truck with one hand. The image she put in her mind of Superman's face was priceless: Ginny giggled.

message 130: by [deleted user] (new)

If Shetan was able to read her mind and see the images of him outdoing Superman, he would have smirked and burst into rather delighted and amused laughter. "Indeed," he said, a slow smile spreading over his features. "I can rip a tree out of the ground and carry it. I am so strong that I can break metal." There was some boastful pride in his voice.

message 131: by Bree (new)

Bree "That's incredible," Ginny giggled and smiled at him not only because she was impressed, but she loved the proud look on Shetan's face at the moment. "If you live in the cemetery, how come I've never seen you around the woods or town?" Ginny knows for a fact that if she had seen him once, even as a child, shed remember. "Did you ever have any human friends before you met me?"

message 132: by [deleted user] (last edited Jun 07, 2013 06:35PM) (new)

"I'm mysterious. I can appear in one place and then suddenly disappear and reappear in another place. I don't always allow people to see me. I have my moments when I am invisible, due to me being a ghost and an evil spirit," Shetan murmured mysteriously. "No. You're the first human to get to know me."

message 133: by Bree (new)

Bree "I guess I'm lucky too then, since I'm the first human you've truly met," Ginny said with a small smile. She looked over at a clock on the wall with a small yawn. It was an old fashioned clock with Roman numerals that read 2:46am. "Wow.. Time seems to be going by much more quickly now that I have Shetan to talk and laugh with," she thought to herself. Her gaze shifted back over to Shetan, "You said you've lived 10,000 tears: what's been your favorite moment in it all?"

message 134: by [deleted user] (last edited Jun 07, 2013 09:53PM) (new)

Shetan followed her gaze to the clock. He was a bit taken aback by how fast time flew by as well. "That's a tough one," he murmured, crossing his arms. "I've had many great moments, but probably my most favorite is...you...getting to know you and spending a good deal of fun with you."

message 135: by Bree (new)

Bree Ginny smiled geuinely with some color in her cheeks at his response. She pulled the blanket around herself some more as she yawned again. "This might sound a bit cheesy, but in my whole life time, this has been the best moment without a doubt," she said back to him. Her gaze shifted over to the television playing late night shows that were popular back in the 90's. "...is it alright if I sleep on the couch with you?" she asked softly.

message 136: by [deleted user] (new)

Shetan felt a little happy hearing the first part. He smiled at the second part when she asked him if she could sleep on the couch with him. "Go ahead," he invited, moving to lie down on the couch.

message 137: by Bree (new)

Bree "Thanks," Ginny said softly as she laid down on the couch but not before she laid a blanket over Shetan that was folded neatly on the coffee table. She laid down beside Shetan so her head was gently against his chest. He's so warm, Ginny noticed as she closed her eyes then dozed off.

message 138: by [deleted user] (new)

When he felt her head on his chest, Shetan slowly slipped his arm around her so that his hand rested on her back. He peered down at her before closing his eyes and eventually falling asleep.

message 139: by Bree (new)

Bree Ginny was very tired from today's events. Her bandaged arm was beginning to heal while she slept, and her hand rested on Shetan's chest beside her face as she slept. Her eyes fluttered occasionally since she was dreaming. It was hinted at what she was dreaming of when she said in her sleep "S-Shetan..."

message 140: by [deleted user] (new)

Shetan slept deeply and peacefully. But even in his deep sleep, his senses were awake, and he somehow could hear that. He gave a soft growl that sounded almost like a purr, and it sounded content and relaxed. He was dreaming of her as well, and after she said his name in her sleep, his hand that was not on her back slowly moved, reaching up to touch her hair, then it moved back down slowly. He mumbled something incoherent in his sleep.

message 141: by Bree (new)

Bree Ginny could almost hear his growl so she smiled for a moment then she relaxed her mouth until she was sleeping just as before. She slept soundly even when the sun came out ,and Ginny felt very hot from the blanket and Shetan's warm body.

message 142: by [deleted user] (new)

Shetan slept on until the sun was high in the sky. His eyes opened, and the first thing he saw was Ginny sleeping on top of him. He closed his eyes again, a small smile playing on his features.

message 143: by Bree (new)

Bree Ginny woke up finally with her eyes opening once then closing again since the sun light was so bright out right now. She finally woke up and looked down to see Shetan's face already awake and smiling at her. Some color came to her cheeks as she ran a hand through her long hai then moved it aside from her face. "How long have you been up?" She asked as she was reminded by looking down how small she was compared to him.

message 144: by [deleted user] (new)

"Only a few minutes," came the reply. Shetan opened his eyes again and peered back down at her. His eyes still showed signs of sleepiness, and he was still trying to wake up himself. The sun was awfully bright as it lit up the room and shone through the window.

message 145: by Bree (new)

Bree Ginny giggled at him "Well you certainly do look sleepy. Time to get up," she smiled at him then she moved off of him and stretched her arms. Ginny walked over to the window in the living room and opened it letting in the fresh air and cool breeze.

message 146: by [deleted user] (new)

Shetan pulled the blanket off and stretched. He felt the cool air come in, and it relaxed him after he stretched. A moment later, he stood up from the couch and stretched again. He seemed to make himself look bigger when he stretched standing up. Then he sighed softly and wandered over to the window, resting his arms on the window sill and looking out at the outside world.

message 147: by Bree (new)

Bree "Oh yeah, today we get to go out to the woods again and you get to show me around," Ginny looked back over at him Shetan from the kitchen. "Unless you'd rather not since yesterday..." "Since yesterday you and I got attacked by a wolf and I almost broke down at the sight of a dead body". She figured since they planned on going out that they should eat a good meal before they go.

message 148: by [deleted user] (new)

"I still want to," Shetan said, looking back towards her from where he was standing at the window. "After all, I'll protect you just as well as I did last time. And it's not night out either." He turned around and fixed his gaze out towards the woods again. The woods looked beautiful during the daytime. The rays of the sun shone through the green trees in streams, making it look heavenly.

message 149: by Bree (new)

Bree "That's good to hear," Ginny called over to him as she pulled out some ingredients from the pantry and the waffling iron. As she whisked the mix together, she looked back over at Shetan by the window. "This is more of a natural curiosity question, but what's your favorite part about nature?" She asked over at him as she finally set the bowl down and turned on the waffling iron.

message 150: by [deleted user] (last edited Jun 08, 2013 03:35PM) (new)

"You got me," Shetan murmured. "That's a tough question. I have so many favorite parts that I can't pick one. I like mountains, volcanoes, flowers, any breathtaking scenes, sunrises and sunsets, beaches, grassy plains, forests, rain, storms, lightning, tornados, earthquakes....and certain species of plants that I consider interesting and fun. And then I got a bunch more..."
