Shetan listened carefully, smirking slightly. Ginny was certainly not alone, not anymore, after he had come into her life.
"The thing is, it doesn't feel like I am though. I know that I've lost someone dear to me, but somehow, I've found happiness. I still remember them like I should, but I don't let their death effect me. I honor them by living my life," Ginny said and remembered the memories she recently had with Shetan.
Shetan smiled a small smile to himself as he listened.
"I see..." Hope said as she wrote down notes about Ginny and her house. She looked up from her clip board and smiled. "You've made a lot of progress since my last visit to you. It's almost as if you're a new person," she said.Ginny fought back a giggle. "You could say that..."
Shetan smirked again from behind the corner.
"I believe that's all I need to see, Ginessa," Hope said with a smile then she stood up.Ginny tried not to let her smile falter when she was called by her real name. Being called Ginessa bothered Ginny since she'd been called Ginny since she was first born. She stood up as well.
Hope walked over to Ginny's front door and looked back to her. "Maybe the reason you're a new woman is because you've met a man, perhaps?" Hope said teasingly and winked at her then left with the door closing behind her.
Ginny blushed madly.
Shetan started snickering after the door was closed and Hope was gone. He slowly moved from the corner and became visible again.
Ginny looked back over at Shetan who was visible, and, of course, snickering. "Oh shush," she said then she laughed as well.
Shetan laughed more, walking up to her, until he calmed down.
Ginny stopped laughing and was now smiling at Shetan. "That went better than I thought it would," she admitted.
Shetan looked down at her. "That's for sure," he sighed with relief.
"I think it might have been funny though if she found out about you..." Ginny said imagining her social worker faint from the sight of Shetan.
"I think it would have. Maybe I could have gotten away with it...unless the men that came to your house found out, like if she told them or something."
"I'm just glad she doesn't live in town," Ginny said and was becoming embarassed now since Shetan heard Hope say Ginny's real name.
"She would probably humiliate you in front of the entire town if she did."
"Good grief," Shetan muttered, thinking about that. "It's certainly a blessing she doesn't live in the town."
Ginny wrapped her arms around Shetan and smiled up at him. "I'd have to bring you with me if I left town."
Shetan hugged her back. "Good. I sure would miss you if you left without me."
Ginny looked up to him then she kissed his lips softly. When she pulled away, she whispered "Nothing could keep us apart."
Shetan leaned down and kissed her in agreement, his kiss slightly passionate, before he slowly pulled away.
"You want to know what I just realized," Ginny said with a giggle. "I don't know when your birthday is."
Shetan smirked. "It's December 13."
"I'm going to make you the biggest and most delicious cake ever for your birthday, Shetan'" Ginny said with a smile.
Shetan's red eyes lit up with eagerness and hunger and delight, fire blazing through them. "I would go wonderfully insane if you did. Could it be ice cream cake?"
"What flavor is your favorite?" Ginny asked with a giggle and already could see them both celebrating his birthday.
"Oh, heavens, I got a ton. Chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, mint chocolate chip, neapolitan, triple chocolate, caramel....blah, blah, blah."
"Who knows? If you do, I'll probably end up eating one entire cake." Shetan grinned.
"If I tried to put all the flavors in one cake, it'd be a pretty big cake," Ginny said imagining a tower of cake.
"Oh, no, don't do that. That would be too hard on you. I don't need all the flavors. Maybe just one flavor or two." Shetan smirked.
"Neapolitan and triple chocolate."
"So, I guess you know my real name now," Ginny said and her cheeks began to blush with embarrassment because of that.
"Why would you feel embarrassed about that? Your real name sounds rather pretty."
Now the blush in Ginny's cheeks were from her being complimented on the name she didn't like. "You think so?"
"I know so," Shetan murmured with a little smirk.
Ginny smirked back at him when he smirked at her. "Well what else do you know since you seem to know a lot of things?"
Ginny blushed madly then she folded her arms across her chest and looked away. "No I don't," she said.
"Yes, you do," Shetan said mischievously. "You know it. You're doing it right now."
"Oh shush," Ginny said and blushed more. "Why does he always have to be right?" she thought to herself
Shetan snickered. "What shall we do now?"
"That actually sounds great." Shetan's eyes lit up.
"It's not that far from here, but it's a good walk to there. Unless you want to fly us," Ginny suggested.
"I probably would fly us, only the humans might see me again like they did last time."
