Ha! That's what I was thinking. :)Actually, it's really strange to look at all of them and wonder what their stories are. Why are they crossing there, who are they with, where are they going, what are they thinking? It's like it brings the reality of so many people & their lives right to you. Pretty cool. And, at the same time, kinda sad.
Thanks Kevin.
I won't tell anyone that you are really sweet under that gruff barbarian exterior, Kev. I know you have an image to uphold.
I liked this, Kevin! thank you! i thought abut the people with Eye bandages, too. i think there is an eye clinic near that place. I also noticed the man with a kid. I immidiatly thought why the kid wasn't with his mother, and how many children all over the world suffer because of not having rally full families. These made me to think about where are our lives leading us, and wheater we are on the right path.

Thanks for posting this, Kevin. I'm loving how cheap camera technology is getting. I got a decent 10MPX camera for 140 bucks at Costco a couple weeks back. I don't know anything about photography, but I've been taking more pics lately. Taking pics gets me out of "text/words" mode.
This is awesome--and even though the title--we're all gonna die--is true, this reminds me of how alive we are--everyone is going somewhere, carrying things, interacting--like the guy shooting the bird, the people kissing, taking care of their children.Thank you, Kevin
this just was an amazing 360 view of life. Terminal Coffee should have a photo site where members can post pics
Ok, everyone send a photo to someone who is good with photoshop and they can make a group photo of us
That was great, people are people wherever you go. I'm surprised nobody has commented on the guy towards the end giving the finger to the photographer!

I think I understand how he feels. How dare you take my photo without my permission!
Or, more likely, he's just making his commentary on life. I know photoshop. Pictorial montage anyone?
How do we organize this?

I'm confused as to why a man with a child makes you think something negative. Just because he's with his father that day (or uncle, or babysitter) doesn't mean he doesn't have a full family. Why should he be with his mother? Do you feel sad for kids who are with their mothers and assume they are missing fathers? I think it's fabulous that a man is spending time with his kid, sharing in the child-rearing responsibility.
And if the child doesn't have a mother, that's a big assumption that he doesn't have a full family. He could have two fathers if the fathers are gay, he could have a single dad and another set of parents on the other side. He could live with a huge extended family.
And a single father does not necessarily mean poor choices. The mother could be dead, the relationship could have been horrible and the father did what he needed to do and got the boy out of there, all kinds of things. I see a father with his son and it makes me happy.
Oh, and I am not sure why you think the baby is a boy. She has pink socks, which usually are on a girl.
I loved the little chihuahua in the backpack! You notice only one person wasn't white? I am guessing this was taken in Copenhagen. Must be a very white city!
i follow many photo sites as i love photos of people. i am not nearly as interested in landscapes or most wildlife pictures as i am in portraits and street style photography. i stumbled onto this one sort of by accident and was almost stunned by not just the people and faces but the format and layout which is revolutionary. i love seeing how each of you have seen things in the photo's that i haven't.and yes, sherrie is very good at photoshop. everyone who wants to participate could send sherrie a photo and she could do something cool with it in a montage like collect
