And he did. The sound was small, but definately not human. If he had a tail, Josh would have wagged it. He reached over with his human fingers and laced them with Skylar's happily.

Darren dashed up ahead and disappeared into the theater.

Darren stood in the back of the line on his tip toes, trying to see into the rest of the theater.

Josh sighed. "More like how unl-lucky is he... If he hadn't come from a h-home like St-t-eph-ph...anie and Jeff's, he probably would have been be fine by himself... I'm glad he's here though."

Darren grinned as he saw them approaching and he waved excitedly, seeming out of place as an excited teenager amid a throng of sober adults.

Josh was too busy being pleased by the petting to even register the words. He had been a wolf for longer, spent more of his life. He was more a wolf than Darren.
