Josh was quiet. He held his breath and looked at Skylar, his dark brown eyes flicking over his face. "Oh..." The word came out so delicately.

Darren sat there on the bed. He had gone from being afraid of a fight to something that felt like sympathy... Of course it was sympathy. And incredulity. He still didn't get why Skylar wanted the curse. But then again, he wasn't in love.

Skylar just shook his head. " Nevermind... i'll go take a shower.." His voice still with a tone of frost to it as he left to the bathroom.

"Sk-kylar," Josh ran a hand through his hair and sighed. "Skylar wait," he caught up quickly. "Let me sh-shower with you..." Maybe that would make him happier.

Skylar's eyes flickered and smile began to creep on his face. " It... it always has in the past."

"Then let's do that." Josh smiled and gave him a small kiss. "A little o-one on one t-time hey?"

Josh laughed a little and shook his head. "Only you w-would think that kind of thing up." He murmured. "You kn-know what's funny?"

Skylar laugh and began washing Josh everywhere. " What?"

"I r-remember not l-long after we met, having an arg...argument about n-night life and how boring night time was... It's just f-funny how we change." Now, instead of Skylar wishing Josh was human, he was wishing himself as a wolf instead.

" Yeah I guess." He said as he began washing Josh's "area" " God I love showers with you,, rember when rember when we went to camp and did it in the showers."

Josh nodded and leaned against him, all hot water and skin slicked with soap. "Yeah," he said. "I r-remember. It's k-kinda hadd to forget those m-moments." He smiled, the movement physical against Skylar's shoulder where his face lay.

" Neither could I.." He said resting his head on Josh's shoulder.

"Sky," Josh said after a moment. Curiosity got the best of him, and what the hell? It made for conversation. "W-Would you still love me if I was a wolf all the time? You can say no, it won't hurt my f-feelings."

Josh looked at him. "Really? That's c-crazy Sky..."

Josh melted quite literally. He hugged Skylar tight and took a deep breath. "God I l-love you," he murmured. "I didn't think it was p-possible to love someone so m-much..."

Josh couldn't retain it any longer. He moved his face up and kissed Skylar deeply, his arms up along the top of his back to hold him close.

Skylar kissed back just as powerful. This was the man he was meant to be with. Nobody could be as perfect as his man Joshua.

It had been a very, very long time. The longest part of his life seemed to be the parts in which Skylar was vacant, the saddest the times were when he didn't even know he existed. Skylar had saved him. Josh had gone from nearly kicking it to suddenly being higher than the clouds, watching as good time sped by faster than thought possible. It was amazing.
The name Joshua means, 'the Lord is my Saviour'. Ironic, considering Skylar was the devil in Christian terms. But Josh had fond his own meaning to the words. He had found his own way.

So when he kissed Skylar, it was a million years of sorrow turned love, a million moments of pain suddenly becoming worth it. It was a story. "I love you."

Josh leaned his forehead against his and smiled that crooked smile he had. "Forever?"

Josh ducked his chin in and spoke in a gruff, Batman-like voice, "I'm you rock." Apparently that was what a rock sounded like.

Skylar couldn't help but laugh. " Have I ever told you how cute you are?"

Josh grinned and managed to blush. "M-Maybe once or twice... But that was just y-you."

" And I still stick by that notion... you are the cutest thing ever."

Josh gave a hiccup of a laugh and leaned onto him again. "Y-You know what we should d-do tonight?" He said after a small yawn. "Get hammered. I never have b-because of the w-wolf..."

Skylar's smile widened. " Hell yeah... then have some nice drunk sex?" He asked curiously.

Josh nodded and kissed him. "Then have some n-nice drunk sex." He confirmed with a smile.

Skylar couldn't help but hold him tighter. " Always wanted to try drink sex... Did it once with Mark."

Josh grunted and gave him a look. "Y-You know how in m-movies when one person brings up something awkward about their ex and the other p-person gets turned off?" He raised an eyebrow. "That time is n-now."

Josh shook his head, but then stopped. "I th-thought about it for the b-briefest m-moment, but only because you were b-being an ass." He said it with fondness in his tone. Even bad memories of fights and arguments were good because Skylar was in them. It seemed so long ago...

" Baby I was with him for 10 years... but like I said it was mostly sex." Skylar said with a shrug.

"T..." Josh stared at him. "Ten y-years?" He gaped like a fish. "Wh..."

Josh frowned. "So we've only been together f-for five m-months?" He sounded a little hurt.

Josh finally cracked a smile. "Sm-mooth." He said, kissing his temple. "Nice cover up."

Josh let out a breath and leaned against him completely, his arms handing like noodles by his side. "I'm all y-yours..."

((And I gotta go to bed... My ankle hurts 'cause I rolled it and my shoulders hurt from tetanus and HPV shots. :( Bed time.
