Skylar x Josh/ Celine and Damian

Darren took a shuddering breath. "I... I can smell you." He said quietly. He was a wolf, of course he coukd smell him. But this was different. "You smell like blood and... And bad things. I trust you as a person, but my wolf doesn't. I'm... I'm afraid when I change back home I'll... I'll attack you and... and..." He couldn't keep going, the memory of the dream flashing back into reality.

"You think he can do that?" Darren had never met another werewolf other than the one he had been bitten by; and that wasn't a good experience to go by. He looked up at Skylar, his pale face wet with tears.

Darren let out a breath and nodded. "All right... I hope he can 'cause... The wolf is terrified of you... He thinks you'll attack him and... and eat him..." He shuddered, halfnof that fear his own.
Josh quietly walked back into the room, retaking his place at the end of the bed. "Feeling b-better?"

Darren smiled weakly and nodded. "Yeah... I just feel like crap." He sighed a little as Josh inched closer and ran hisbhand through his son's hair. "D-Don't stress about it." He murmured. "Do you w-want me to help Sky?" He felt Darren might need some alone time.

Darren nodded and curled back up into the covers. "Okay."
Josh got up, after kissing the top of his head caringly, and then got up to head into the kitchen.

"Uhhh..." Josh looked around on the ground to look for the pup. He wasn't far away, since he had seemingly picked up the habit of following them everywhere. "Yep." He picked up the cub and set him on the table. "And I d-don't kn-know... Pancakes?"

Joah smiled crookedly and sat down at the table as he began to write a checklist for things to make. "So," He jotted down pancakes. "Wh-What was wrong with D-Darren?" He had missed most of it while he looked for a bucket for him to puke in.

Josh stared at him with wide brown eyes, the pen falling out of his hand as it began to shake. "Wh-What? Seriously?"

Josh closed his mouth. "That... That's h-horrible." He got up to help make the food. "What'd you s-say? He's... He's not... You kn-know, afraid of you?" It was an obvious interpretation of the dream.

"Oh... Sky..." Josh's tone turned a little sympathetic and he put his arm around his waist, pulling him closer. "You're ok-kay? It didn't b-bother you?"

Josh smiled and kissed his cheek. "Then let's m-make one hey?" He handed him the recipe book, peach cake on the dog eared page.
Josh smirked and looked over. "C-Cute." He reached out and patted the dog on the head. "He had no c-clue."

((I have to take a break... My thumbs are cramping up. I'm going to go clean and roll around on the floor. I've never been so goddam bored in my entire life. I've been watching the same movies for five hours. ))
((Aheh, no. You read that totally wrong. It's the only thing keeping me sane right now. I've been stuck in this two bedroom apartment with my seven yr old brother and my perverted 12 yr old sister since 9 this morning. I've been watching Edward Scissorhands, Beetlejuice, and Spirited Away all day. I'm so bored, my only entertainment has been rping. Seriously. Now my crazy grandma is coming... JOY.))
Josh decided to let Skylar make the cake (something he was really good at) and he decided to make pancakes instead... Or try to. Josh was the worst cook ever, but aho could mess up pancakes? I mean really?

Skylar began making the cake with a little cinnamon and a good amount of villain always good to have a moist cake but not too moist.
((... I know. :) I just... Yeah.))
Josh grabbed a spatula out of the rack and scrutinized the pancakes as they sizzled. Of course he had put chocolate chips into them... Pancakes were like carboard without them.
Darren slowly wandered into the kitchen, his eyes still rimmed red from crying. "Dad...s?"

"Can we have Poptarts?" He asked, seemingly so innocent in his pajamas there in the largeness of the doorway.

Josh smiled a little as he flipped a couple pancakes, glancing over to watch them search quietly.
Darren shrugged and walked over. "Uhm, I like the strawberry kind..." He suggested mildly, peering over Skylar's shoulder into the pantry.

Darren let out a deep breath and hugged him back as well. "Thank you. The strawberry kind's my favorite." He murmured into Skylar's shirt.
Josh grinned and made a mental note to wash some strawberries for snack as well.

"Oh my God," Darren stared and then ran over to look. "Can I have one?" He seemed to feel a little better now... A little.
Darren smiled happily, the expression seeming wrong on his tear stained, red eyed face. "Thanks." He sniffed and took the plate.
((Park?))
Josh smiled and lked over at Darren. "Wh-Why don't you g-go p-pick out a m-movie huh?"
Darren nodded and, cradling his heartattack of a snack, rounded the corner and disappeared to pick out a movie.

" God I love that kid..." Skylar said happily as he cut up the ripe peaches into the batter.
((Eh, I'm not worrying. Do it when you're ready. ^.^ What kind of phone do you have?))
Josh flipped a pancake and looked over with a crooked smile. "Yeah? I w-wouldn't have g-guessed."

"I kn-know you do." Josh smirked and started moving the little pieces of now cooked dough onto a plate. "You have a th-thing for creating s-sentimental a-attatchments to w-werew-wolves. It's a bad h-habit."
Josh cringed and then took it away to be emptied. Gross.
