Josh was already dressed as he followed after him, climbing into the car beside Skylar. "Can't wait."
((Bedtime for moi. :P Btw, the mod of Rivalry gave me to go-ahead for our plot. :) I'll make Josh later, when I'm not half asleep and on a touchscreen.))

Josh smiled and nodded, cupping his face o bring it in for a kiss. "Yeah," he said quietly. "I know. That's why I'm m-marrying you."

" You know.... i've always loved the beach.. especially with you.." Skylar said pulling up to the sand the beach at high tide.
((Ugh, how do you figure out the species? These people's bios are so... Eye wearing. I can't find examples. And the link they give to the 'look here' page doesn't work, because apparently, the group is secret. -.-))
He looked over through the window and leaned his forehead against the pane, feeling a small shiver as he looked out at the water. Although he had gotten over his fear a while ago, more or less, he still had a foreboding feeling around the stuff. "I only g-go to the beach with you." Josh murmured, giving him a small smile.

" Want me to hold you in the water?" Skylar asked gently knowing Josh really liked that.
((Thanks! ^.^))
Josh gave him a small grin, shadowed by the moon for a dark but somehow warm effect. "Of c-course." You could see his throat jump with the stutter by the way he was sitting. Popping the door open, Josh climbed out and waited for him.

He was hugging himself against the chilly night air, nothing but a pale, lean figure on the sand as he watched Skylar; tousled brown hair a shock of darkness against the white sand. Josh had to swallow a bit of apprehension... Maybe this was a bad idea...
Nevertheless, he looked like he was about to come in. "Uh," He inched his way a little closer.

"I..." Josh gulped as he suddenly felt the hem of the water lap at his feet, then his ankles. "I-I th-think..." But he didn't even know what he was saying, just speaking as if to distract himself. Unfortunately, most of everything that came out of his mouth was a stutter. He kept walking, eyes shut tight until he suddenly felt the water around his waist and he stopped; still refusing to open his eyes. "I-I d-d-d..."

Josh stiffened a little at the sound of Skylar's voice, and sucked in a deep breath and held it until he waded in right beside him. Eyes still closed firmly, arms holding themselves as if letting go meant death, Josh let it out. "H-H-Here..."
He shivered, but only once, and then relaxed in Skylar's arms and leaned against him. "I l-l...love you t-too." He said, finally opening his eyes so he could find his lips. "It's been a wh-while since I've been in the w-w-wat-ter."
Josh breathed a small laugh and smiled. "Thank you hun." He murmured, relaxing further. The water wasn't so cold after he got used to it, and really there was nothing to be afraid of... Why did it disturb him so much then? "You kn-know it's thanks to y-you right? I w-wouldn't be in here for an...anyone e-else."
Josh swallowed and looked at him. He had almost forgotten... "Yeah," he said quietly. "I know. I'm r-really glad you are here th-though. If you... If you had g-gone, I would have f-followed you." It was true.

Josh sighed deeply and closed his eyes again painfully. It hurt to think about it again... "But... You were g-going to leave me al-lone..."

Josh didn't move for a long time, but then he nodded. "N-No... I won't l-leave him." He whispered. "Please don't l-leave me though..." His voice cracked a little near the end again and he swallowed.
Josh took a deep breath and hugged his lover back, pressing his head up against the side of his own. "I love you." He murmured, meaning every syllable. "Without you I was s-so afraid... So lost... I was so sad..." Without Skylar he had been hurt in every way. "I love you so much." Josh had almost forgotten about the water which lapped around them, eddying gently with a small current. He hadn't forgotten about the monlight, however. It dappled the water's surface like a visual orchestra, moving and blending together just to be pulled apart and then met again. Dancing luminously. "I... I think you saved m-me."
Josh leaned against him, sucking in the warmth he gave off in the water. That warmth wouldn't last forever he knew... As soon as they left Versailles this scene would be impossible. Skylar would be cold, and Josh would be in another body. It was precious to be there as they were.

Josh pulled his head back a little so he could meet his eyes. "You're okay with it?" He echoed, hoping he meant it. It would be a massive relief if Skylar was okay with dying... And if he was, Josh would be as well. But to be honest, he didn't know if he wanted the wolf back. The pain all over again...

Josh blinked. "Would that w-work on me?" He asked, hoping that it was yes. "I know it worked on D-Darren, but..." There had never really been time for Skylar to practise on him very well. He had a little, but he usually got there a little late.

"I d-dunno..." Josh kissed the corner of his lips gently. "Maybe... How do I know you won't t-tickle me?" Skylar knew how ticklish Josh was as a wolf.
"Skylar," Josh grinned and then pinched his shoulder. "You wouldn't. Not wh-when I'm half a-animal and wr-rithing in pain."

Josh grumbled, but shrugged anyway. "I g-guess. As long as you don't attack my t-tail. That's just m-mean." But he smirked anyway. His tail was always the most ticklish part of him.

Josh thought about it. "Yeah," he said after while. "I guess so..." There was lot of green space in Hollywood. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad at night. "The opportunity would be th-there... Can we get a c-cabin in the woods too though? Just to g-get a br-reak once in a wh-while?"

Josh smiled even more and kissed him happily. "That would be great hun," he said. "You're the b-best... It'll be f-fun."
"I think he w-will be," he said after a moment. "Escpecially if we h-have the c-cabin." That was one thing werewolves worry about. Places to escape to. "And if he can play his v-violin... He'll be happy."
