Skylar x Josh/ Celine and Damian
Caleb shrugged pleasently and slid into a seat near them with a smile. "Yeah, but whatever. I'm okay with living here too. It's cool."
Darren began tearing his waffles to microscopic pieces, brow furrowed in concentration. He wasn't the best conversationalist ever, and although Caleb seemed like a nice guy, he was on edge about him. It seemed as if he was adopting the energies of Josh, who was seriously trying to figure out where he had met this buddy of Skylar's before. He didn't recognize his face, but he was so familiar at the same time...

Again, Caleb shrugged in just a happy-go-lucky attitude. "Nah thanks. I had breakfast already..." He looked up and stared around the room. "Wow... Versailles... How long do you have it for?"
Caleb nodded. "Heh. Neato. What happens if you like, lit the place on fire or something? Would it matter 'cause it's John's house? Or would you be - " He ran a finger across his throat and crossed his eyes, sticking is tongue out as he made a rude noise describing death. "Executed or something?"
Josh glanced at Skylar momentarily over the rim of his glass, in the middle of taking a drink of water so he couldn't correct him. John... His name wasn't John...

"Oh, sorry." Caleb gave Josh a wide, completely not sorry smile and leaned back in his chair. "Uh huh... Cool. You getting married here then, huh?" He kept all jealousy out of his voice.
"When's that happening?" Caleb had to try hard not to smirk. It was very hard not to tell you were being looked at in such a way. When Skylar's boyfriend wasn't looking, however, his own eyes were all over his modelling partner without shame. This was the real reason he had 'popped in'.
He nodded and drummed his fingers on the tabletop, a pro at not giving revealing reactions. Nice. "Well I guess you'll have more than enough room." The palace could hold incredible amounts, that much obvious.
Josh nodded quietly, still not saying anything. For some reason he was slowly developing a serious dislike to Caleb. Darren stabbed a peice of waffle a little harder than usual, not looking at anyone.

Caleb blinked at him, honestly a little surprised Skylar would actually go so far when he was about to be married... But this was what he had hoped for when he came through the door, so he just shugged happily and nodded. "Sure, I've always liked wedding cake."
At this, Josh glowered. Neither of the guys were looking at him, thankfully, so it went unnoticed. But beside him, Darren's hands nearly trembled. His wolf senses picked up on Josh's emotions and they were seriously putting him on edge. He tried to just focus on eating...

Caleb nearly choked on air, but gathered himself quickly.
Josh glanced over and nodded. "Yeah," he said quietly, turning back to his meal. "I'm f-fine. Just tired I g-guess..."

Josh didn't respond right away, but then decided to ignore his instincts for once and smile back at his fiancée. What could possibly be so wrong about Skylar's friend? Nothing was wrong with him. Josh's intuition must be screwing around. Who knew with all this weird stuff happening in the palace?
Caleb nodded and got up. "Okay, thanks a heap man. This is super conveniant 'cause my room mate's having a party tonight and I just... I don't want to be there for it."

Josh had finished already and was debating leaving. He didn't want to hang around Caleb for much longer either way. Nudging Skylar's foot quietly with his own, Josh gave him a small smile.
Darren, still frowning, set down his fork and then got up to leave. He disappeared out the door silently without so much as saying goodbye.

Josh shrugged, glad Caleb had taken off to examine his room. "I think it's a wolf th-thing. Remember when we first m-met?" He used it as an example. "I wasn't much b...better."
Josh didn't say anything. He knew how tough it was, but Skylar didn't. Until he spent time as a werewolf, he probably never would understand completely. "Well." Josh just sighed and got up. "I don't kn-know. I can't force him to t-talk to people. It's not easy. But I don't exp...exp..." Josh let out a frustrated rush of air and his face screwed up, trying to form the word. "Exp...expect you to know. I don't expect you to kn-know how it feels." His words were maybe a little bitter. He was always jealous of how Skylar could so easily make friends and keep them.
Josh was slowly beginning to burn again, and he wasn't sure if he was in control anymore... It was kind of like earlier when they had their massive spat. "Do you?" He tested. "You know how it feels to sometimes be m-more animal than h-human? Even in the d-day? You know how it feels when people purposely avoid you because they can almost literally smell the creature? Sky, half the time new w-wolves can't understand a word humans s-say, their minds are so gone. You d-don't know what th-that's like." His voice quietened near the end and he finished in a sigh, running a hand through his brown hair. "I'm sorry," he said. "That was h-harsh... I didn't..."
At least he knew where he was wrong on this one. "No," Josh said softly. "No I don't. I didn't m-mean it like that." His hands began to twist together again and he looked away. "I just... I just would l-like you to go easy on D-Darren about the an...antisocial thing. It's not something he can really h-help." He paused. "We both have our problems... It's d-difficult to un...understand eachother sometimes... I don't know what it's like to b-be an v-vampire. I'm sorry h-hun... I get protective of Dar-ren." He glanced up at him. "I'm s-sorry..." Josh really didn't want another massive battle.
Josh closed his eyes and sat back down at the table tiredly as he put his face in his hands. Not again... He didn't mean it... Why did he keep shooting off at the mouth like this?
Caleb was done examining his room. It was cool. He wasn't one to waver from the objective by being awed about some house. It was just Versailles, after all. He had heard the door slam and poked his head out of the room, glancing down the hallway he had heard the echo resonate. A few moments later, watched Josh skulk across the hall and into a different room Caleb hadn't yet snooped through. As the guy passed, Caleb could have sworn hat Josh had flashed his teeth at him angrily before disappearing. That was weird. Skylar was marrying a weird guy. He deserved better than this... John. He deserved a Caleb.
Caleb abandoned his post at his bedroom doorway and began to make his way towards Skylar's. How he knew where to go mystified even him, as he hadn't been shown where in the massive palace his buddy slept. He just... Knew where to go.
He knocked on the door when he got to it.

He knocked on the door when he got to it.
"It's Caleb." He said through the door, really hoping he would open it for him. "I just saw John a couple minutes ago... Do you want me... Do you want me to go get him for you?"
Caleb smiled that superstar grin he had at Skylar as soon as the door opened. "Hey... You okay?" Something just seemed a little off about him.
"Mm." Caleb really couldn't have cared less, but he sat down beside him anyway. "Wanna tell me?"
"Oh," Caleb's eyebrows went up and his mouth quirked with a smile. "Good. 'Cause that's why I came. Just keep your door locked, kay?" He winked a little.
Caleb climbed further onto his bed and then yanked his shirt off with surprising sensual skill. After the agency had fired him, he had earned one hell of a living in strip clubs.
"Kinda." Came the lax response. Caleb shrugged and kicked his clothes to the side. "Lemme tell you, they couldn't keep me long enough before some other bar took me in for bigger bucks. It was cool." He grinned and waved Skylar closer.
Caleb stared at him for a moment, then smirked back at him. "Wait, I mean, I was. For about a month... You could still give me more..."
"Yes sir." Caleb flashed him a smile and then stood up on the bed, seeming lost for a moment. "Usually I have a pole or something..." He murmured, but then decided to pull on another form of strip modeling he had mastered over the past month.
The show, as can easily be imagined, was awesome.
((... Lol XD...))

Caleb laid there, pulling deep breaths. Turning his face over on the pillow, he looked at him with a tired smirk. "That'll be two hundred bucks please."
His smirk just widened. "But it was worth it?" Reaching out with his face, Caleb pushed his lips onto Skylar's hard.
Unfortunately, Caleb was satisfied now with the excitement that he had been given. He pulled away and then sat up in bed. "Well... That was great..."
Caleb huffed and gave him a look. "John again? Seriously, dude. Don't freak out on me, but I honestly don't think you would be in bed with me right now if you really wanted to be neutered the rest of your life with only that guy for company."
Caleb stared at him, unblinking as Skylar got his clothes on and left. As soon as he was gone, he flipped his finger at the closed door angrily. Man could that guy look evil when he wanted to... Sure Skylar was a bit of a freak, but Caleb wanted him anyway. Especially after all that...
Josh sat alone in the library. Darren had gone out to see how far the magical spell of the palace applied to him, and to be honest, his uncle was kind of glad for the loneliness that replaced the boy in his absense. Even now as he sat there with a book in his lap, he wasn't really reading it. He still felt uneasy, threatened. He hadn't felt like this since he had left his father at home.

Josh gave him a slight glance and nodded, absently petting the dog as he stared at his book. "Hi." He said quietly. "Wh-What've you b-been doing?" Josh was so used to having his elbow glued to his finacée's, as soon as he was gone he felt lost. What was left of his wolf senses were driving him mad as well. So, more or less, Josh felt like utter crap.
Redirecting his gaze to the puppy, Josh nodded again and looked over at the kiss; this time holding the gaze for longer. "It's fine. I un...u-understand. I'm sorry too..." He tore his eyes away to look at the floor beyond his novel, taking a deep breath of his own and holding it in an attempt to numb a headache. There just wasn't something right, and he could not place it. "I feel like crap..." He murmured, freeing a hand from under the puppy to rub his forehead.
Josh let it out all at once and nodded gratefully. "Yeah," he said, leaning over and putting his head on Skylar's shoulder tiredly. "Yeah that's be g-great hun..." He tilted his chin up so he could give him a kiss. "I love you so m-much."
Josh curled up beside him, the headache suddenly disappearing as Skylar was close. Finally... It felt like his head had been on fire, and was finally at rest.
Josh turned over in his sleep so his head was nestled adorably into the nook of Skylar's neck, automatically cuddling into the source of heat. Every now and then his throat moved, letting out small noises as a reaction to his dreams.
Caleb stomped around the palace moodily. The reason why he had came was kind of hook up with Skylar... Try and get him to change his mind about marriage.

Darren came back a little shaken. He had found the limit... his limit at least. He had walked down through the town, across the park, but had doubled over in pain as soon as he had reached the end of the groomed pathway. That, he considered, was the sign he couldn't go any further unless he wanted fur again.
He passed Caleb in the hallway while he searched for his uncle. Shying away so that he was nearly pressed against the wall while the other walked by, Darren couldn't help but noticed how pissed he looked. After being given an evil eye, he turned and left quickly, slowing as soon as he was out of sight. Caleb freaked him out, even though he seemed nice enough...
After a while, Josh opened his eyes and yawned quietly.

Josh nodded and kissed him in return. "I l-love you too..." He murmured, closing his eyes again although remaining awake. "I guess I was just so t-tired..."
Darren stopped outside their door and debated knocking.
Darren stopped outside their door and debated knocking.
He opened the door, face frowning in confusion. "How'd you know I was there? I didn't knock yet..." Darren walked across the room and fell into an arm chair in the corner. "And uh, I found where the spell ends..."
"Oh." Darren stared at him for another long moment, as if he had almost forgotten Skylar was a vampire.
Josh rubbed his eyes and sat up a little without disturbing his finacée's hold around him. "Yeah? And wh-where does it end?" He asked, genuinely curious. This meant they could actually know for certain how far they could leave without reverting back to their abnormal selves... An important discovery.
"At the end of the park," Darren answered, reaching out for the puppy as it crawled across to him.

Thankfully, Darren didn't realize either thanks to the covers of the bed. He grudgingly let Skylar pull him up inbetween him and Josh, and then sat there like an awkward rock.
Josh, however, recognized it and gave Skylar a raised eyebrow. But didn't say anything, figuring it wasn't too big of a deal since they were both guys and it wasn't like either of them had any attractions towards the other, so...

"It's fine," Darren shrugged and leaned back against the headboard. "I don't... I don't really care."
Josh smiled a little and played with the back of his nephew's hair for a moment. "You f-feeling okay D?" He asked. "You're kinda p...pale..."

Darren just nodded and reached up to brush all their hands away from his head. "Yeah I'm fine. Just had a close call at the end of the spell." He pet the puppy as well.
Josh sighed and closed his eyes for a moment. "Okay..." He rubbed his eyes.

Josh nodded quickly and opened his eyes. "Yeah, yeah that s-sounds good."
Darren nodded as well, if slower. "Sure. What?"
Darren nodded as well, if slower. "Sure. What?"
Josh grinned and reached out, poking the puppy's belly gently. "I h-have an idea..."
Darren yawned and crawled off the bed again, sliding off onto his feet.

"It'll be a s-surprise." Josh, still in his clothes, kicked the blankets off as he became hot.
Darren shrugged and nodded. "Yeah. I mean, have you even met me? Nothing's as cool as me." He gave a small, self deprecating laugh.

Darren smirked and looked back at him. "Uncle Josh would miss having another wolf around. Betcha he was a little lonely before I came around."
Josh shrugged and let the puppy chew on his finger for a minute or so. "Not r-really... I missed wolves but Sky was g-good enough to make up for that." He smiled and gave his fiancé a kiss.

Oh. Well maybe he wasn't really wanted after all. Smirk never ceasing, Darren turned and disappeared out the bedroom door.
Josh kissed him back readily, abandoning the puppy to wrap his arms around Skylar and hug him closer.

Josh just nodded, his stutter becoming too difficult for words. That happened when he got turned on. He began to unbutton his shirt, releasing him only for that action.
((And I shall reply! Sorry :P))
((And I shall reply! Sorry :P))
When it was finally over and he had caught his breath, Josh craned his neck up and gave Skylar a strong kiss on the jaw as he snuggling up even more.
Josh smiled a little and waved slightly; forever awkward. "Hey C-Caleb."
Caleb relaxed a little as stepped into the room beyond the border of the doorway. "Hi. Sorry I just wanted to come say hello, seeing that I was uh, in the area..." To explain, he elaborated. "I moved here after I was uhm, fired. Apparently fraternization in the modelling agency 'isn't allowed'."
