Where would we be without our animal friends? This challenge is specifically dedicated to them.

1. Read ONE non-fiction or fiction book from each category:
*Amphibian
*Reptile
*Bird
*Fish
*Invertebrate (including insects and gastropods)

2. Read TWO non-fiction or fiction books from the following categories of mammals:
*Herbivores
*Carnivores
*Omnivores

3. Books must be over 200 pages in length.
4. Write a review of each book (12 in total) and link your review to this thread.

Julia (juliastrimer) Becky, I appreciate the effort you've put into these challenges, but there is no way I have the time each of them requires. I'm taking coursera classes and am involved in other goodreads groups--plus am busy in real life.

These are pretty overwhelming for a group that hasn't been active for awhile. I wish you luck, but I'm afraid I'll have to bow out. The Green Group is reading Bill McKibben's book EAARTH now, which will take up much of my time.

Best of luck--hope others can find the time for these excellent ideas.

Just to be clear, Julia - there is no time limit on these, except for the Around the World Challenge - you can read one of these per year if you like! :)
