Ryan (tchitcherine) | 1 comments How long does it normally take you to complete a work- such as the "100 Girls" series or "All Dead Facts and Static"? The amount of detail and complexity you pour into your pieces is quite inspiring.

And on a different note, are you a fan of Chuck Palahniuk? It would be interesting to see your visual take on portions of his novels, like the magazine/landfill scene in "Survivor."

100 girls and 100 Octopuses took like 250 days-ish. About a painting every 2 days or so, plus lots of room for ones that didn't work out. "All Dead Facts and Static" and the portraits (all about 30 X 40 inches) take about a month each.

I read an essay by Palahniuk once. It was good. Never read anything else. Probably will when I'm done reading all the other books lying around here.
