Josh Barnett (joshyboy98311) | 366 comments Haha. That's gross. If leftovers aren't gone in two days, they get thrown out here.

Jenn (darkstarcassidy) | 257 comments Haha! We should all send each other Christmas cards this year with a favorite recipe enclosed. This way we can sample foods from other states!!

If I had a time machine, I would skip over Winter every year and live in Ideal Happiness :-)

message 218: by Josh (new)

Josh Barnett (joshyboy98311) | 366 comments I like winter. I LOVE the cold weather. I hate the humidity that comes with living in the Southeast in the summer.

if you live in the southeast-your cold weather is probable more like our fall weather ;)

of course you might be one of those strange people who like freezing temps lol :)

Josh Barnett (joshyboy98311) | 366 comments I did live in Seattle for about only 15 years. So you know I am quite used to cold weather and I really never adapted to the warm weather. Heck I wear jeans during the summer because I hate shorts. XD Then again I do not know where you live so maybe Seattle weather is warm for you. lol.

message 222: by Rachel (new)

Rachel | 3527 comments I forgot you lived in seattle-not sure what seattle weather is like- I live in northern nj-the winter gets pretty cold (although probably not as cold as where dustin lives in Colorado)-

i'm a big wimp when it comes to cold weather-I don't even like when the air conditioning is on lol

message 223: by Jenn (new)

Jenn (darkstarcassidy) | 257 comments Boy I'm really learning about the US weather for different states. I'm not fond of the cold weather especially my heating bill lol. Josh your winters are probably awesome compared to ours.

Yeah, you have a lot more snow than I had to deal with in Seattle. It gets to the teens in Seattle on the worst days, it normally sticks between the 20s and 30s most of the time. It rarely snows because the land is so close to sea level.

I love air conditioners. I didn't have AC at all when living in Seattle. It does get quite warm during the summer for a week or two in the 90s.

I used to work in a walk-in freezer and refridgeration unit when I worked at Sunflower Farmers Market for 2 years. Lots of people couldn't take the cold and had to transfer to a different department. Where I work now, we have to keep things cool for the chocolate and I really like it. It is the perfect working environment.

I got my scooter on Easter Sunday. I am hoping I can ride it through the winter on most days. Boulder is situated nicely right by the foothills to the Rocky Mountains and typically we have lots of sunny days. Our weather typically more mild than Denver.

I rode my scooter during the pouring rain of our historic 100 year flood last month with no problems so that's a good thing.
