Good for you, Sami, you made a thread for a buddy read! I'd join you but I really am too bogged down with buddy reads and Net Galley books right now. I have to redeem myself. I want to hear how you both like it though.
Sami wrote: "I'd suggest starting now but I have to finish Seraphina first!"Ohh, I've always wanted to read that book. The cover is beautiful as well!
I think the book is short, so maybe we can read the book this weekend and comment in Monday? Is just an idea.
Oh I love this book! Oliver is one of my book boyfriends, lol :) I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did!

:D Ok reading it by monday and then talking about it sounds fine!! Where have you lot got up to? I've been sick so I'm just going to start it now...
Sami wrote: ":D Ok reading it by monday and then talking about it sounds fine!! Where have you lot got up to? I've been sick so I'm just going to start it now..."I'm on page 124 right now. I recently just picked it up again since I stopped about an hour ago. I can't wait to hear what you guys think! :)
Sami wrote: "Ohmygosh you read so fast!! Are you enjoying it?? I need to shut up and read for a bit don't I :D"I think you read much faster than I do! I am enjoying it! It's nothing spectacular, but it's a really cute book.
No, not at all :) I enjoy the company!
Great :D I've just read the first few pages and already it's my worst fear come true - being a few minutes late for something and having to waste several hours because of it. (Although with me it's the train, not a plane)

Ooh what time zone are you typing from then? It's 1:30am here (I'm awake cause I slept all day lol). Also the scenery here's quite pretty!! Drab because it's always rainy, but I'm told the view when driving down the motorway (highway) is really pretty compared to other countries, as we have really hilly countryside, with different coloured fields depending on the flowers/crop being grown. I'll have to see what it says in the book though! :)

I need to visit the United Kingdom someday! :D

I'm in The United States. It's 8:40 PM here hahaha

Ooh so a... 5 hour time difference then :). Yes, you must come!! It's quite nice for book-lovers, if you dont mind the weather :)
I'm about to finish and is really cute and easy to read. I lived in Mexico and is 23:28 right now. I want to go to UK too. Specially to London :)
Trinity wrote: "I actually like the rain sometimes :)I can just curl up with a good book!"
:D Well that's ok then! We just get sick of the constant drizzle.
Yoly you should come too :D I'd love to go to Mexico, heard it's very hot there!!
I'm near the beginning unfortunately (had guests). But they're still on the plane and gosh the way Oliver talks!! I'm pretty sure the author is American because Brits do NOT actually talk like that.. unless they're like 75 years old. It's making it hard for me to read.
Yeah :) One of my friends used to do a British accent after she watched a British TV show. It was so funny!
Gisbelle wrote: "lol Sami! Thanks goodness we have a real Brit here :) I love British accent by the way :)":D I'll take that as a compliment, seeing as I have one! :)
Oh no! I just got to the part where she realises why Oliver is in England. I like it when there's a twist I didn't foresee.
I knowww, that part was sad. And interesting. I liked the ending too. After you said you didn't know how to feel about it, I thought he wouldn't come back and she'd never see him again. I thought the point of the story would be the quote from the book, "No one is useless in this world,” it reads, “who lightens the burden of it for any one else.”" ALSO WHAT WAS HIS RESEARCH PROJECT REALLY ABOUT
I'm wondering about that too!!But a second book I don't think is a good idea. I think everyone can make a choice and decide what will happens with them.
@sami maybe in 2 years I will go to London :) and yes Mexico is really hot.
Trinity wrote: "Now I'm wondering what'll happen to Hadley and Oliver when she has to go back home."She said his college, Yale, is really close to her home. Hopefully they'll stay together at least for a little while.
Yoly wrote: "@sami maybe in 2 years I will go to London :)"
:D Tell me when you do we can go to bookstores together :D!
I also don't think a second.book is a good idea even though we have so many questions! Do you think her mom said yes? :) I want to read the companion novel. It's a completely different story though.
@Trinity I was thinking the same actually I feel sad about her mom she seems like a really nice person and she was so strong. I hope she can take the chance of love again.
There's a companion novel? Cool@Yoly, do you think there's a tiny chance her mum was saying no because she saw her daughter's strong reaction to her father's marriage and didn't want to upset her even more?
Yoly wrote: "@Trinity I was thinking the same actually I feel sad about her mom she seems like a really nice person and she was so strong. I hope she can take the chance of love again."I hope so too! I'm glad the man she's dating hasn't given up on her!

I don't think so because she wanted her mom to say yes, and I think she liked the man her mom was dating. Maybe her mom wasn't ready...
