Ace walked into the library with an annoyed huff, Cora had been back for nearly three hours but he hadn't seen her at all. It was as if she had been avoiding him...which considering the reason that she had been sent back to Enigma HQ, he could understand. But Ace didn't blame her for killing Axel...well Troy his alter ego. He would have done the same thing, their brother had left her no choice. He rubbed the back on his neck, it didn't appear as if she were here. He turned to leave until he heard a screeching feminine voice call to him, "Ace! Oh Ace, there you are? How have you been?" Lynn rushed to him before he could escape, she was a human. Howbeit, with the rate of speed in which she could speak, Ace was all but convinced she was a mutant...
"Oh um, hey there, Lynn..." Ace shifted uncomfortably on his feet, wanting nothing more than to walk away. But considering that Lynn loved to talk, he doubted that would happen anytime soon.
Lynn rubbed her hand up Ace's arm, "If you're not busy, would you like to go to the Rec Room? I hear they got that movie Safe Haven! I've been wanting to see it forever. Sadly, I can't find anyone to watch it with me..." She grinned at him fluttering her eyelashes as she did so.
"Actually, I'm meeting someone..." Ace started to explain, but was cut off by Lynn.
"WHAT? Um...I mean, what? Who?" She giggled angrily , and Ace took a slight step back. This is why he avoided girls, they were crazy.

((Sorry seen JP's post but not yours lol))
Ace sighed, this was going to be rough, "Actually, I'm looking for Cora, my sister..." Once again he was interrupted, which he hated.
"Oh! I heard she was back...I'll be back! Get it? It's a Terminator reference...since her nickname is the Terminator!" Lynn clapped her hands, and Ace resisted the urge to punch her in the face. Not that he would ever actually hit a girl, he could never do that. But he hated when someone called Cora that, almost as much as she did. So what she had taken out two...well three now, of the criminals on the most wanted list. Ace was quite jealous of his sister's accomplishments.
"Don't call her that Lynn. Her name is Cora, got it?" With that he walked away from her, leaving her with her jaw dropped, with a high pitched girly squeal she stomped out of the library.

((Cora can beat him up...? :p It would be funny to see him get a taste of his one medicine... :p))
Ace plopped down into a chair, earning a seething "SHHH!" from the old battle ax of a librarian. He waved apologetically to her before picking up the nearest book to appease her. After a few minutes of pretending to read he glanced up to see a girl deep into a book of her own. He couldn't help but chuckle when he noticed that they were reading the same book, well more or less reading the same book.

((Well, tis not love as of yet. Mere infatuation I would dare to say...))
Ace couldn't help his amused snort as she rushed to change her book. Her face seemed to turn a soft shade of scarlet. It was cute that she got embarrassed that easily, he shook his head slightly and tried to focus on his own book. Though it proved to be a hard feat when he felt eyes upon his person. He glanced up to notice her fixated on him, a smile upon her lips. He returned her smile with ease, she was quite cute. It was an added bonus that she wasn't a chatterbox unlike Lynn. Despite what some girls thought, there was such a thing of talking too much.

Ace glanced down as he felt the goosebumps raise on his arms, and frowned. The air in the room had gotten noticeably chilly, he could actually make out the breath in front of him. He looked back up at the girl as her gaze was on the library, with a sheepish look upon her face. Then just like that the temperature was back to normal. Ace stood up, and walked over to the girl. "I don't think that's your type of book..." He pulled the book from her hands before she seen the title. It was rather...racy for a girl like her, and he doubted she picked it on purpose. Ace smiled at her, and offered her the book that he had been reading.
"Oh don't worry about it, things like that happen. You're most welcome for the book, I hope you enjoy it." Ace grinned at her, it was one of his favorite books. He placed her old book on the self in front of him. "So, who do I have the pleasure of speaking to? I'm Ace...Hawthorne." He wondered if she knew about the Hawthorne triplets, Axel the dangerous criminal, him the 'normal' one, and Cora the terminator. Most people did, though he rathered that they didn't. He didn't like feeling like a freak among mutants, it was hard enough being a mutant to humans.
Melody just couldn't help herself. She just had to check out the library. It was like a safe place to go to, it has been ever since she was little. After she had entered, she noticed several people. Being the shy girl that she is, she stood there dazing off, wondering if she should go talk to someone.
Getting out of her daze, Melody saw a girl wave to her. Instead of ignoring her she waved back and started to walk over to her hoping to succeed in making a friend. "H-hi. I'm Melody" she says shyly and smiles.
After she had shook Bree's extended hand, she smiled again and said, "I'm new here and I'm pretty lost. I just came here because it's like a getaway for me. What are you reading?" she asked.
Bree seemed kind, but she can't trust anyone that easily, besides she barely knows her so she could be different. "Sounds interesting." Melody noticed a boy next to Bree. Now she felt like she was interrupting. "Am I interrupting something? Maybe I should go?" she asked uneasily, she wanted to be polite and not have a bad impression.
Ace nodded when he noticed that Bree had silently thanked him, he was glad that she seemed to like the book. He turned to the girl, Melody as she had introduced herself, and gave her a smile, "No, your not interrupting, we were just discussing books. Are you a big book fan?" Ace chuckled slightly as he realized what a stupid question that had been, she was in a library for crying out loud. So he just flashed them both another dazzling smile, "I'm Ace, it's nice to meet you Melody. This is my new friend Bree, whom you have already meet, welcome to Enigma."
"Well of course I'm a big book fan. This place is like a second home to me. Do you know any interesting books you can show me?" Melody asked Ace. It was the whole reason that she had came here, and on top of exploring the whole library she still had see other places. Well at least she has two nice friends, or maybe friends. Then she noticed Bree staring at Ace. Maybe she likes him...she thought to herself. He is pretty cute.
"Hmmm..." Ace scrunched his lips together as he thought of a few books to recommend to Melody, "Well, what sort of genres do you prefer to read?" He liked all sorts: fantasy, mystery, thriller regardless if they were fiction or non-fiction. He grinned at her, she seemed nice, which was a good thing. Many people turned cold after coming to work for Enigma and seeing all the evil that criminals were doing in the world. Not that Ace found them at fault, it was easy to become bitter when you felt as if you could have stopped a terrible thing and didn't. He noticed Bree's eyes on him and turned to her, "Do you have any suggestions for her?" The thing about Ace is that he's not oblivious when it comes to the girls that were infatuated with him. He was used to it, he had a lot of girls that liked him. But Ace would rather them like him because of who he was, not what he looked like. If that made him sound girly so be it, it was how he felt.
Melody pondered for a moment then thought of a few genres. "I like mystery and fiction books. Come to think of it I might like thriller books too." She responded. Melody then had a good memory about her and her ex. boyfriend when they were in the library.
"You like to be here a lot Melody." He said and brushed back a piece of hair from her face. They were sitting on a bean bag chair and she was sat right on his lap. "Well out there everybody hates me love, your the only one who understands." Melody explained. He already knew about her bullying and her parents. Suddenly he kissed her cheek and said, "your lovely and don't you forget that"
Coming back to reality she then smiled at the lovely memory.

Melody took the book and began to read the back. After reading it she smiled and looked over Bree satisfied. "Thank you so much for your help, I guess I'll just read it now." She said and laid on her side on one of the couches and began to read. Very interesting, very interesting indeed.......she thought to herself.
Melody then felt a breeze which turned into wind. The wind blew her pages which made her loose her page. She checked the library's windows which were closed. Strange...she thought. "Hey Bree? Do you feel the wind too?" She asked Bree once coming up to her.
She did that really? "You did that? That's so cool! All I can do is know anything before it happens! Wait what causes you to do that?" Melody asked curious.
"Oh ok" Melody said and returned to the couch, trying to find the last page she was on in her book.
Jonah walked into the library and went over to a bookshelf, skimming the titles of the book as he walked down it, looking for something in particular he remembered reading when he was a kid. It was of importance to him since it involved his ability to make Darkbloods, one of which was keeping an eye on his sister for him.
Cora had been quietly reading a random book, when she glanced up to see a new face. He seemed to be looking for a book in particular, and as the library was like a second home to her she figured she might as well help him. Gathering her book in her arm, Cora walked up him, "Would you like some help?"
"Sure." Jonah said, turning towards her. "I'm looking for a book about shadow minions. I read it when I was younger and it contained some useful information." he said. "I was hoping to find it here."
Cora tilted her head to the side looking at him with curiosity, "Uh...you mean this book?" She held up the book that she had been reading, it was unusual that he was looking for the same book that she had. Cora was reading it because it contained information about shadow matter, that was the power that her brother, Axel, had.
"Oh, yes. That is the one I was looking for." Jonah said with a small smile. "I need it so I can work on my power. Do you think I could borrow it?" he asked her, flipping his bangs out of his eyes.
