Finally able to really get into the book (about 20%)! Vlad wastes no time and is his arrogant self right away. Good thing Leila is totally kickass and doesn't put up with it. so far, really good!

Hey - I was waiting for the Scavenger items to be called this morning to see if this book would work. I'm glad I waited - it works. I'll start tonight. We'll see how far I get. I have a full weekend planned with an outing tonight, an event downtown tomorrow night and I'm hosting a Father's Day lunch. Hopefully I can squeeze in some me time with Vlad,lol

It fits on the book boyfriends shelf if you haven't read for it yet, too :) I was reading this for FS but then switched it when it fit this shelf. Now I'm going to read for it this weekend and I.CAN'T.WAIT!

I already read a book boyfriend book - I did - the H drove me nuts - loved the h. But this one also worked for the Scavenger hunt too - so 2 birds 1 stone...

So - Leila has just woken up from being dead and in a coma. Can I just say ~ I believe these two might be the two most stubborn people. Wow. Have to say - the whole I think I'll just spring wanting to make you into a vampire on Leila in front of a room full of guests was a total dick-ish thing to do. Not sure what the hell was going on in his mind to think that would turn out ok?!? (hide spoiler)]

Glad you liked it too! Very fast paced & action packed! I loved that Leila didn't put up with Vlad's crap in the beginning. He was a real ass! But when he committed he didn't mess around. I really liked the progression of their relationship. And the ending! Wide open for another great story!

Yes, Leila was awesome. So funny how he was stunned she was leaving him. Heehee. (view spoiler)[ Vlad's squaring off with her Dad and his promise ~ aaawwww. Wondering if Leila's Dad is going to become bitter like Cat's mom did. Hard not to compare the story lines. Loved when Vlad burned the bed just because he knew it upset her.
