Okay, I'm up to date with the likes on Amazon author pages and while at it I've also followed on Twitter and Facebook.This place is filled with very interesting people!

I've gone through 2 pages of these so far and have been clicking "like" on them all. Unfortunately, my like isn't adding to the numbers. It seems that in order for your like to be counted on an author's .com page, you have to purchase a book using a .com account, but Amazon will only let me purchase books through a .co.uk account.

When I was young I cooked and baked nearly everything from scratch as my mother taught me to. Thank God I taught my children to do the same as I now HATE to cook, and my daughters live with me and do the cooking (mostly from scratch), and one of them cans everything she grows in our backyard garden! :-D

That was a very worthwhile experience.Not only did I learn a bit about the authors on this thread, but I found myself thinking what a diverse little bookshop it would be that had all our titles on its shelf!
It was pretty clear as I did the exercise that some folks on this thread weren't playing fair with their fellow authors.....but I'm not that kind of person, I believe in karma so I 'liked' all 79 of you. :)

Bo, I have been reading all of the bios on Amazon, and I have to agree with you. However, I find that not only are the books diverse, but the people are as well. There is a great cast of characters on this thread. I might also mention that I don't think many of us will sit down with each other for some coffee and a chat without investing in a plane ticket. It is like we were selected for this group by our lack of proximity.
That is what I like about the groups on GoodReads. I now have contact with people in almost every state and even the UK. I never know there was seperate Amazon/UK site.I have been liking everybody's pages too and learning alot.
There is an astonishing mix of Authors here! Maybe virtual coffee is order of the day Mike.Anita, you can add Southern Ireland to your list now too :)
