Thanks! Just returned the favor. I noticed your profile said you grew up during the Cold War and your book, set during the Vietnam war is titled Desolation Row. Any connection to the great Dylan song?
Also, might I suggest my historical memoir Ice Cream Camelot, about my growing up during... guess what... wit for it... the Cold War and the Kennedy administration.

Not unless you create one. It doesn't translate over; you'd have to build a page on Facebook if you wanted one there.

Grey, I tried to like you but it comes up for Amazon.uk and I didn't see a "like" button. I pulled it up in Amazon.com and no author page but there was a "like" button, so I "liked" it there. :-D

That is a good idea, Bea, to keep checking back so that we can LIKE other authors who come by after this.

The likes on our author pages (either on Amazon or on Facebook--totally unrelated, as

noted above) are all part of creating an impression. Last week a twenty-something woman who has self-published a chic-lit book said to me, "You look great online. That's what it's all about." Seeing that I had a few decades on her, I was quite pleased.
