Aimee poured two cups of warm tea and set out the cream and sugar. "Now, my creation is quite a bit bigger than the average underwater craft. It will, according to my calculations, be able to dive deeper than any raft yet created and travel twice as far and fast."

"I can't wait to see it!" Stephen beamed. He was itching to remove his coat but restrained himself. "Aimee, you were saying you want to plan an expedition? To where exactly? And what kind of crew are you looking for?"
"I am planning an expedition, I would like to first to a test drive down to the Mediterranean, as for crew members, I'll need a navigator, a co-mechanic, and people willing to go on an adventure, also before I leave I'll need he'll designing a new diving suit, that's partially why I invited you two tonight, if you would like to help."
Anne's eyes brightened and she leaned over the table. "Really?" She looked between her and Stephen, amazed that someone such as herself could participate in such a grand project. "I will love to help in any way I can."
"Absolutely, Aimee," Stephen said grandly, as if he didn't have enough projects. "Might I suggest my friend, Ted, as well? He is an amazing inventor. Anne, you would like him too," Stephen said to her.
"Thank you Stephen." Aimee said happily. "I'll have to meet him!" She paused for a moment ticking quietly. "Now, Anne, Stephen, would you like to see the ship?" She smiled mysteriously at them, her eyes sparkling excitedly.
She nodded emphatically, clenching her hands together. "That would be brilliant, Aimee."
"I'm ready," Stephen nodded.
Aimee stood up. "Follow me then!" She led the way to the front door and out onto the street. The three walked along the dark cobbled roads until they reached the large warehouses by the docks. Aimee pushed open a large wooden door and led the way inside.
