She opened the door and looked out at the girl on her doorstep. "Hello, how can I help you?"

She grinned and nodded. "Yes, that would be great!" Anne said emphatically. Taking the liberty of sitting at the table, she asked conversationally, "What kind of mechanic work do you specialize at?"

"What about you?" She said with a smile. "What do you specialise in?"

"You know, I've had a wonderful idea that I've been planning for a while, I've drawn up some plans if you'd like to see it? Plans for a machine."

Late that night Aimee left her workshop with a large bundle on a carriage. She pulled it along as if it was only a bag of flour. She made her way down to the warehouse that was close to her workshop and the river Thames.
Aimee entered the workshop, her limbs ticking softly as she walked up to her creation. There, stretched out and about the length of a bus, was a mechanical ship. It's hull glowed softly in the moonlight cast through the overhead windows of the warehouse. Aimee worked hard through the night attaching her engines to her creation.

Aimee sat in her workshop and prepared a pot of tea. She fidgeted excitedly and waited for the knocker to sound at the door. She was hoping Stephen and his assistant would arrive soon and witness her invention.

((^^ I thought it would be great if Anne and Joeri did similar things.))
