Apparently it's just the normal thing to do in Hollywood. Also, because the books all have different feels to them, therefore a different director to bring out those vibes.

Because you see exactly everything, they've put into it, and little details that you didn't notice before. It gives you a whole new appreciation for the film.
o. well...the film was decent to me. i read (ok, skimmed) thru the notebook and it was interesting (when they were talking about jacob), but it had no other affect on me.

I usually can not reread books or re watch movies, but i have not had that problem with this series... I have reread the entire saga a few times, and still find something new every time!Jacob is cool but he really didn't have a huge role in twilight, it wasn't until New Moon that you got an in depth look into his persona!
I am still neutral when it comes to the characters, I love them all the same, without any of them the saga wouldn't be right!

I think it would be amazing to read it enough to recall any part you wanted to.
