I love reading in my backyard while sitting on my patio swing. The smooth motion is perfectly synced with my reading!

Patio swing sounds heavenly.

One of my best places is Port Union Beach in Scarborough (east end of Toronto). A beautiful, nearly always deserted beach with lovely views of the Pickering nuclear plant in the distance--I try to avert my eyes from that.

Otherwise a beautiful place to read: sun, sand, Lake Ontario lapping gently at the shore, water fowl gliding past.

Sigh. If only I weren't at work right now.
