Brennan sat on the couch talking to people on his laptop. Stretching out, he yawned and finished with an essay he was supposed to of done a week ago.
Terra sat on the other couch, flipping through the channels on the TV. She looked over at Brennan and laughed. "Seriously? Are you still working on that essay?"
"Psh, no.." He lowered the screen and kept typing. "It's a umm.. new one! Teacher said I did so great that she wanted me to do another!" Brennan smiled at her.
"Right. Obviously. And that has nothing to do with your D in the class and mum threatening you with grounding unless you had at least a C?" Terra smirked at him and crossed her arms.
"Hey, it's a high D! I could get a C with my eyes closed." He made a face at her. "I'm sorry miss three point something GPA that my grades aren't as good as yours, but someone has to include the lower grades."
Terra stared at him with her 'what the hell' face. "Or you could just... I don't know.... Do well in school?"
"I bet you that I can raise all my grades to 'A's by the end of the month," he challenged. He gave her a look back and starte typing furiously at his essay.
"What do I win when you lose?" Terra smirked at him and crossed her arms, moving up to a sitting position so she could properly laugh at him.
"I dunno, I just thought of it like thirty seconds ago. You have no faith in me." Brennan shook his head and went to his room, returning a few minutes later with a large stack of homework and class assignments that he never looked at or did.
Terra's jaw dropped at the assignments. "Are you really surprised?? Look at that stack! Mom's going to kill you! You're going to be grounded for a year..." She sighed at him and looked through the assignments. "Do you want help?"
"It isn't bad." Brennan gave her a look that said hell no before starting on the stack. "I need no such thing as help. I'm going to finish them all by myself... and a bit of Google." He thought about it then shook his head. "No she won't."

(Kay. Bye. :) )Terra sighed and lay back on the sofa again. "Fine. Have fun."
He grinned, "I will." After a while he finally got through a good amount of the stack. With a groan he put his head on the couch and stared at the papers. "And you do your willingly," he whined a little.
Terra looked over at him and laughed. "Well, no. But it's easier when I don't do it all at once." She smirked at him, then looked back at the tv, which was only keeping half of her focus.
"Only awesome people can do all this at once." Brennan another slightly and kept working on the stack. After a few hours he finished it and rubbed his head. "I think I got a huge headache," he groaned a little.
Terra stood up and walked back, holding a bottle of ibuprofen and a glass of water. She leaned over and handed both to him, smiling softy. "Try these."
"Thanks," he smiled at her and took them. After a bit he grabbed the stack and put them in his room. "I really should start doing my work when I'm given it," he mumbled to himself before goin downstairs.
Terra lay on the sofa, her eyes closed as she dozed lightly. She had been determined to stay with him through the process, to be like his own personal cheerleader if he needed it, but she had ended up passing out only a few minutes before he finished. The TV still rambled in the background, but she was completely gone to the world.
Seeing Terra asleep Brennan shut everything off and listened to his iPod. Since it was getting a bit late he went and started on dinner. Grabbing random food he started cooking.
Terra woke up to the smell of food. She rubbed her eyes and went over to the kitchen, smiling. "Hey. Whatcha makin?"
He looked down at the pan for a moment then shrugged. "I have no idea. I just randomly pulled stuff out. Looks like chicken, pasta and Mac and cheese," he said as he looked at the stuff he grabbed.
"Ooooo! That sounds yummy." She walked over behind him and looked over his shoulder.
He bumpe her away and scrunched up his nose. "No looking for you." Smiling at her, he finished with the pasta and Mac and cheese before finishing the chicken.
"Awww! Why not?" She pouted and tried to look over his shoulder again. "Pleeeease? I'll be your sous chef!"
"What's a sous chef?" he asked and looked over at her. His eyes quickly glanced over her body before quickly finding her eyes again.
"It's the helper chef! It means I get to help you try your food." Terra grinned at him and licked her lips.
He laughed. "I don't think so."
"Awww!" Terra pouted and hopped up onto the counter, sitting down. "You're no fun..."
"Oh, I know. Cause it's not like you're going to eat it in a minute." Grinning. He rolled his eyes. Taking some noodles in his face her quickly pushed them to her mouth. "There you go my little taste tester."
Terra looked thoughtful for a moment as she chewed, then swallowed and grinned at him. "Yum! You make the best food." She slipped off the counter, hugged his waist tightly, then grabbed bowls for both of them. "I can has more?"
Laughing, he rolled his eyes and grinned. "Yeah, you can have more and thank you." Brennan had been cooking for years now so he figured that his food should taste good.
"Yessss!" Terra gently bumped him out of the way with her hip, then put food into bowls for both of them, handing him his when she finished. "TV or table?"
Brennan laughed and rolled his eyes. "Thanks, kiddo." He ruffled her hair and grabbed them forks. "I don't care. What do you want to do?" His eyes quickly scanned her body before meeting her eyes again.
Terra pouted at him. "Quit calling me kiddo! I'm three minutes older than you and I have the boobs to prove I'm not a child!" She stuck her tongue out at him, bumped his hip, then walked back to the TV, swaying her hips a little more than she really needed to.
"So? Three minutes doesn't count. I gotta Penis, but you don't see my bragging." Brennan stuck his tongue out at her and grinned. "Silly child!" Brennan followed her, watching her hips sway before sitting down.
"I have boobs. Instant win." Terra smirked at him, then sat down and started eating.
