M. (purple_fishy) | 2 comments Hello!

I have three Nooks currently, one Nook HD tablet, one Nook touch, and one Nook classic. My daughter uses the Nook classic and I have loaded up many kid appropriate books on there for her from Gutenberg and from the Nook bookstore. My issue is that the device is becoming very cluttered with both her books AND my books on it. I am wondering if there is a way to remove books from just that device, without removing them from the cloud and also without having to de-register her nook from my account. I asked the person at the bookstore and he said I had to deal with it or simply deregister her device (which means that the Nook books I bought for her would not longer be available.) Does anyone here have any suggestions?

Thanks!

D (d-lee) If all three devices are registered to the same Barnes & Noble account, you can archive the book directly on the nook. They are then stored in your BN account and can be downloaded back to your nook at any time. If after the book is archived and you want to delete it permanently, go to your library archives in your BN account and delete it.

M. (purple_fishy) | 2 comments Thanks for the reply. I have archived the books but they still show up on the Nook Classic. I guess I wasn't very clear in my original post, the issue is that I would like to leave only her books on the Nook so that she doesn't have to sift through all of my material (archived or not) to find hers.

I was told perhaps Calibre could do this but I am not sure how.

M., did you archive the books on the website? I also had this issue and had to archive the books from the Classic itself.

Calibre is not helpful in this case because it only works for books in "my documents," not B&N books.
