I love the piano. I wish I had learned to play.

I wanted to take French since my sister took it but she wouldn't let me. She made the argument that Spanish speakers are more abundant where we live and it would serve me more to learn a language that I could use any and every day. I was the logical reasonable sibling so I took Spanish. I sneaked in some French during my precollege summer and it was heavenly. I really like French! But I ended up loving Spanish.

I took a Piano class in school I regret not trying my hardest because my piano knowledge has drifted away. Stupid silly ungrateful girl, I was.

I regret that I quit band, but the clarinet never was my instrument. I picked up the guitar pretty fast, but I haven't played it in so long, I'd need to relearn.

Lady D, Spain was wonderful! But different than the states. The people are more laid back and family oriented there. The silly men (especially the old guys) were always calling me Bella or some form of. So much history and the old buildings are really old. Narrow streets. Better to walk most of the time. I would welcome a chance to go back and visit. In fact, it would not be a hardship to live there.

That sounds like a cool place to visit. I met a woman from Spain, and she had some interesting perspectives on my professional field in that country.
