I finished a few hours ago and wholeheartedly agree!!! So much that was left open-ended in the other books was cleared up about Dominique. I'll be stalking the author's blog for updates until the next one releases!

Btw, I'm so glad I didn't read any reviews before starting. There's apparently been mixed reviews and lots of drama.

Tammy Bland I just love the Hart family. Ella has done an AMAZING job with this series. I retread my review...didn't think it was bad. Yeah the cliffhanger was disappointing, but it was also done by her terrific writing abilities. I did not see the ending as a "marketing" ploy as many have suggested. If she writes 10 I will get all of them. Add into that the Flynn series and I am always waiting on an Ella Fox book. This book for me, was just so emotional all the way from beginning to end. I can't wait to see what direction she takes the conclusion.

Jenny I finished yesterday and wowzer . . . I loved it (but still think the 1st is the best) but gosh, I wanted to shake Dominique/Minnie/Nikki (<--- um, way too many nicknames!). She was keeping secrets for so long is was like she didn't know how to tell the truth.

My teeny gripe was that once Dillion found out about the family/connection - and he and Dominique got back together - it was alot of summary and not alot of conversations.

The cliffhnager was KILLER! I actually thought it was a good way to leave us hanging.

I agree. The story was really rushed at that point and a race to the finish, lol. But my guess is that Ella Fox will go back in time in the next book and we'll learn more from their POVs about that timeframe before we get to Tally and Spencer's mom showing up.

Glad I am not alone. I also assume we will go back in time . . . I eman, we have to! Now that we KNOW (or assume) Tally was working w/ Bitchface (yes, that is my name for her) we need to see was it when she met Damien at the party? Did she happen to go to the bar and meet "Nikki"? Or was ALL of it planned . . .

UGH! So many questions . . . which is why I think her cliffhanger was pretty creative.

Jenny OH! and I LOVE the sexy cover but that model is NOT petite!!! She is the same height at the dude.

Very creative, indeed!! I'm inclined to believe that Tally and Bitchface (I like that name and I don't remember Spence's mom's name anyway) were working together all along. Even the fact that Tally 'saves' Dominique from Michelle aka Mrs. Robinson seems contrived now; I bet was part of their nefarious plot all along. What really intrigues me is how did they know Dominique would be open to being with a woman? I guess if the pseudo-lesbian/bisexual angle didnt work, Tally could have just become Dominique's BFF and worked it that way. So many questions!! I hope Ella writes fast, lol!!!

You must have been reading my mind lol. As I was reading yday, I turned back to the cover and thought, that's petite?? Ha!

I'm used to covers being nothing like how the characters are described. On the author's Pinterest she has pics for her inspiration for the Harts. Helped to visualize them a lot better than the cover!!

Jenny I saw her post on FB that her inspiration was Hayden something from Nashville - she is WAY petite!

I like your thinking that Mrs. Robinson was her IN! That Tally is nasty . . .

Ella Fox I am so with you on the non petite model. She is super skinny, but not super short. Unless the male cover model is super short?

Anyway- this is the downside to self pub. I don't yet have access to cover models of my choosing. I spent HOURS and HOURS looking for something and never had any luck!!

:-)
