Librarians cannot do that but you can request it here: http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/1...
(Just mention there is another author with the same name, so they don't make the mistake to merge you)
The Superlibrarians will review your profile and decide, IF they change it it's probably gonna be Thomas L.^^Scott, where ^ would be equal to one space.

Do not change the author name of the book, this will only move it to another profile and changing the profile name will change the books author name as well (if they change it)
