I am glad that you are here in the thread. We are here to have an informal buddy read. Anyone can join! THere will be no reading schedule. You can read at your own pace. We do ask that spoilers be hidden and post the page you are up too. So We know if it is okay to say it.

Do not read if you haven't "FINISHED" the book. Actually there are a lot of things worth raving:(view spoiler)[1. public sex? that outrageous! people acting like dogs in heat.
2. The biggest reveal: there is no plague! wtf?
3. Orion? I thought Orion is a good guy. I love the twist when he turned evil, more evil than Eldest
4. The fake nature.
5. Another novel that reminded me of The Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, one of my faves! When everybody's drugged and at the constant state of calmness.
6. Soooo glad its not mushy. I like Elder and Amy and I'm looking forward for their tandem on the coming books (hide spoiler)]


sooo..im not going to keep this long. Imma start with A Million Suns because I just can't stop knowing there are 2 more of this kind of read. ;)

(view spoiler)[ Yea, the whole sex in public thing...freaked me the CRAP out! It was so freaking strange. I thought that something was werid with Orion.I had hoped he would not have turned out the way he was. (hide spoiler)]

I did like that the story is not all about Amy and Elder's relationship. It was not the focus. It was like a huge breath of fresh air for the YA genre. Sci-Fi is freaking awesome!

I wish I could read the next one right now! I have to wait till my next pay day. I found this book and the 3rd book(shades of earth) for a 1.99 each. So cheap! unfortunately, they did not have the 2nd one so I have to pay full price.
